Alice cabinet are very bad quality. I had an entire kitchen cabinets installed late laat year, and regret it deeply. they scratch when you barely touch them. And to make matters worse, if you have white cabinet, the scratch will be black! They tell me to use the touch up paint, but that too doesn't last! My kiddos are so scared to touch to cabinets! These are the worst cabinet, my 20 year old cabinets didn't scratch this easily! I had recently completed an upgrade project to my new condominium using Alice Cabinetry custom made vanity cabinets. The high quality and style of their custom made cabinets are a testament to the Greenguard Gold certification, which is a prestigious standard for low VOCs for indoor air quality and the solid and excellent craftsmanship. My project included many major modifications including replacement of an entire island countertop and installation of a farmhouse sink. The sink installation required rebuilding an existing set of cabinet doors to fit the new sink. I also replaced my existing hood with a different style and brand. The size of the new hood was different from the existing one, so the surround cabinets need to be modified to fit the new one. Their cabinet crew did an amazing job to modify these brand new cabinets seamlessly. The countertop was upgraded to a waterfall style and the look is stunning! The owner Wei had been working with me closely on the project all the way and was very flexible with my requests and design changes. Would not recommend these cabinets to anyone. Was hearing they were good and lots of people wanting it. Maybe we lucked out due to covid and decreased manufacturing capabilities. Our cabinets looked they rushed to manufactured them. The paint on them is horrendous. Some of the cabinet door faces have paint rippling. Some of the cabinet boxes have dents. Their products quality is okey, but their customer service is REALLY REALLY bad, I came up with this conclusion because 1). If you find product flaw and you want them to replace, by default they presume you damaged the product, unless you provem them it's indeed their product quality problem. 2). If you find product flaw again (2nd time, 3rd time, etc.), instead of helping you solve the problem, they think you might have personality problem, why? coz' they think you shouldn't go there for another replacement. If you check the past comments here, no matter good or bad, they don't care at all. I really like that Alice is local so when we were missing anything or wanting extra roller trays they are available for pick up. We had an experience where we had a damage part from another cabinet maker and it took 6 weeks to get. Alice is also a lot more affordable in comparison. We found Alice Cabinetry to be good quality and reasonably priced. While the wood used for cabinets is usually the same, what differentiates Alice Cabinetry from shops liked KZ is the finishing of the cabinets. Also, there price is more competitive than the custom made cabinets. It's a whole sale place so you need to go through a retail store (we were recommended this store by StoneHub Design Center).
