Honestly, I'd really think twice before getting anything from this place. Their customer service was pretty terrible, and there are definitely better spots in the Bay Area for kitchen or cabinet needs. I ordered a full vanity set and went over all the dimensions and details with a representative named Rachel. I explained exactly what we needed for our bathroom, so I thought everything was clear. But when the vanity arrived, the sink was at least four inches off center. Who would ever expect a sink to come like that? When I called Rachel to sort it out, she told me, "you should have known that the sink would be off center." That completely threw me off. She's the expert--if something like that was going to be an issue, she should've warned us or suggested a different option. Mistakes happen. Miscommunications happen. But putting the blame on the customer isn't the way to handle it. There are plenty of other places with similar prices and way more knowledgeable staff. If you're shopping around, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I'm excited to give a five-star review. The salesperson could not have been more helpful and tolerant of my indecision. He offered ideas and alternatives that I would have never thought of. He didn't get upset when I changed my plan several times midstream. He worked with me one-on-one by email and telephone, arranged and installer, and made sure the supplies were ready. I had a bathroom remodel that included floors, bathtub, and bathtub/shower walls. The installer is not a KZ employee but rather a contractor. The installer also did a great job and finished early. The only slight complication was in paying the installer. I assumed I would be able to pay everything with a credit card, but the installer only accepted cash or bank transfer such as Zelle. Once we got that worked out, everything was paid up and satisfactory. I will definitely go back to KZ for my next job. Could not have been happier. read more

After browsing the showroom, I went to ask a sales person questions about kitchen cabinet options (I was specifically interested in corner cabinets and which styles variations came in), I walked up to Lynette He's desk, who could not have been more rude or uninterested in helping me. She scrolled her phone the whole time and gave me one word answers. She barely even looked at me while I was talking to her. I almost walked out to take my business elsewhere. Luckily, I just happened to ask another sales rep a question. Wayne Zheng was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful going over my cabinet options and pricing. He even stayed a few minutes after closing to show me the cost breakdown. Because of him, I walked out with a quote to pass along to my contractor. Lynette gets a 0/5 stars, and Wayne gets a 5/5. read more

I went to KZ Kitchen Cabinet & Stone late morning today. They have a large showroom that looks pretty well organized throughout this location. However, as I was browsing through the various product offerings I noticed that there were minimal foot traffic in this location. Besides another party that was looking at the flooring section, that's pretty much it. I wondered why? Well, after about a hour here I came to understand why pretty quickly. 1. There's 0 customer service - No one approached me to ask how they can service my needs the hour that I was there despite this facility in being a Costco size warehouse. I didn't see anyone approaching the other party as well while they were in the warehouse. 2. They are rude - With no one approaching me, I reached out for some help and the guy is sitting at his desk watching a youtube video? (during work? hmmm...) I was looking for a bigger vanity, he pointed at a direction of where they are and continue watching his videos. 3. Pricing is meh - With these types of stores, if they don't have customer service, sure they have it on the price right? Not in my case. I found similar shelf at another cabinet store for $500-600 cheaper. Or they may be trying to rip me off when they could have given me a better price? 4. They are unprofessional - While I was being helped, someone talked over me to talk to the guy that was looking up prices for my vanity. To my surprise, my guy responded back to the person that he's almost done with me? I asked him how my vanity can be customized, he said, "you can do it whatever you want". I was like, "ummm, okay" with my head still puzzled... But wait a sec, I had more questions....or am I bothering this dude? I think the above reason provides a pretty good idea as to why there was minimal traffic in this store. Take a page from Ashley's, their business model which is quite similar but with helpful service reps at the floor, their business will continue to boom. Unfortunately, without that "service", once the price advantage is gone, so is this business. As for me, I think I won't be coming back until my Chinese is top notch. We love KZ kitchen Cabinets and Stones, people say they are pricey, but from all the places that we saw, they were the only ones that had cabinet colors that we liked and that they were available and ready for purchase. Teresa Xu (sales person) was the only one that followed up with me, from all the cabinets stores we visited in the East Bay. She was patient, friendly and understanding. She made last minutes changes with no issue at all. Also, another plus, they work with a third party installer(Gary) who was nice and easy to communicate with. The installation ran smoothly, they did a great job, few details that could have been done better, like a dent on the wall done at demolition, they said they don't fix or gaps on the floor that were fixed a little slappy. we went here to get a quote for a bathroom remodel and talked to Scott Bai. He took our info and told us someone would call us. This was before Chinese new year, it is now end of Feb and no-one called us. We called Scott a few times and he kept telling us someone will call. I called back again today, 2/23 and the lady who answered the phone gave me the phone number of their contractor, Gary 415-684-2013 and said they will charge $200 when they come over to give a quote and if we decide to go with them, they will credit that price to us. I asked to be transferred to Scott and asked him 1) why Gary still hasn't called and 2) why he didn't tell us upfront there will be a $200 charge for the initial quote. Scott replied different people have different ways of doing things and asked him what the purpose of my call was, so I asked him why he wasn't transparent in telling me there is a cost and he said I can go with someone else if I want. That's a very bad way to treat new customers or try to gain new business. Even on Yelp, it shows a banner which says "Free estimates" read more

I bought my quartz quite awhile ago and never wrote a review. I'm so disgusted. I finally decided to write this review. I wanted a beautiful and no maintenance type product. Over time the stone started having some kind of staining. Like guessing the glue was bad. I don't know. I know when I had granite put in at another house, I got concerned and they said it was the glue underneath and it would dry and not show in a few days. But this never went away. I had sent pictures and tried to explain, but since it had been a bit because I wasn't living there, they would not send someone to fremont to see what the problem could be. I've been living there now for 2 years now. It like dirty palm or hand prints under the quartz. It light in color but looks terrible on the white quartz with light veins that run through it. FGY Stone said it just dirty. I have tried EVERYTHING and it doesn't budge. I asked my local dealer person, where I used to live, what to use and bought that product from Amazon and that did nothing either. I know I will have to replace it and as you know, I won't be going here. I just get angry every time I look at it. read more

My wife and I decide to visit there showroom. It was very nice however no one tried to help us out. After walking around we decided to try to talk to one of the designers for a kitchen remodel. The designer did not introduce herself and was very rude from the Initial walk up. We asked her if she can explain to us the difference between the various cabinets she then asked us which one we like we then pointed and she said it's made of Wood and that's it lol. She didn't even try to explain or sell us anything. Worst place to buy from. They sold us cabinets and then refused to replace cabinets that were damaged by the company. They refused to provide the managers information. Stated they are not allowed to give out managers information. Horrible customer service. Even my contractors stated they will not be referring clients to this business.
