I recently visited during their one year anniversary at this location. I'd previously been to the original location and enjoyed my sandwich but because it's a bit north, I hadn't returned. This location is closer to me and I'll definitely go back. I ordered online and it was seamless. My food way ready when I arrived and my order was accurate. Service was friendly. The location seemed pretty large and clean. They do have a drive thru and plenty of parking. They have a large menu and on this visit I tried the meatball sub. They offer whole and half sizes. They feature 2 oz meatballs from Scimecas, a whole has 4 making the sandwich over a pound and 51 grams of protein. It's about $14 for a whole but I got it as a weekly special at a mere $10. (Check their socials for more specials!) The sandwich was so good. It was big. The meatballs were delicious and had a good texture and flavor. The sauce was a little sweet but not overpowering. The bread held up amazingly. It had a nice chew and could stand up to all the sauce. There was plenty of cheese. Nice garlic essence. Highly recommend and I'd get it again. They also had $1 hot dogs so I got a few. My pups love hot dogs and these were no exception. I believe they're normally between $3-4 but they are boars head and all beef. I also had one and it was delicious. Who doesn't love a glizzy? They have whole pickles so I had to have one of those. Great pickle. No complaints. I also ordered non-phallic items like a few different cookies. The cookies are bomb. Chewy, soft, big. I'll probably have to get a cookie every time I go. I tried the s'mores, lemon blueberry, and the triple chocolate chunk. All were equally good. Great flavor. Fantastic texture. Get cookies. Again, no complaints. For starters the food: I love the sandwiches here. Always fresh, I personally go for an Italian warmed. Their desserts and the wide variety there is never cease to satisfy. If you want something to drink with it there's an entire cooler full of different kinds of drinks. Need a side? Go for their chips whatever chips suit you. Service: Very fast and efficient. I had to go past here for work and had heard they had good coffee and food. I grabbed a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. (biscuit, egg, bacon, sausage and cheese.) The sandwich had an amazing flavor, you could taste the freshness in the bacon and sausage. The size was also good and well worth the money. I also had a chocolate chip cookie, it reminded me of being back in school with the big cookie that was cooked just enough to be cooked but still have the soft gooey center. I absolutely love my time at fetterman's. I have gone to the other fetterman's location but this is my first time at creekside. The space is very large and open and essentially has everything that you need. From grocery items to the deli to freshly made sandwiches, they have it all. I came during The Holiday times I was able to experience their holiday themed drinks which were all very delicious. I was also able to enjoy the ice cream which was out of this world. My big gripe is we do not have a good NewYork/Jewish deli in town since the old New York Deli on Troost went out in the early 80s. Thank GOD fo Fetterman's, they have renewed my faith in the KC deli scene. It is deep in Parkville, but well worth the drive. The space is super clean and fresh with loads to select from. They serve Boar's Head meats and cheeses, which you can also buy sliced to order. They have a great selection of salads and sweets. They even offer several kombuchas on a self service tap. It was hard to decide which sandwich I wanted as they all looked so good. I opted for the I-29 and a Silcilian pasta salad. This sandwich is NOT for the faint of heart. It is a LOT of meat. Featuring 29 oz. of hot pastrami served up on grilled marble rye. The sandwich was great, but my only issue was the bread seemed too buttery and it kind of took away from that hearty pastrami flavor. I also like my pastrami thicker cut and this was thin. That said, it was still a very good and impressive sandwich made with love. The Sicilian pasta salad was unique and very good. not sure what all they put in it, but it was unique and a departure from the typical mayo based pasta salads. I also noticed they have a wide selection of breakfast offerings, so I suppose I am going to have to make a morning trip up and sample some. The staff here are friendly and very accommodating. That combined with the feel and look of the place, make this a very nice spot for a quiet lunch or breakfast. They offer online ordering and also do catering. We love the original location in Platte City, good to see one closer to us in Parkville. Went here to get coffee and oh my, so good. They actually serve Messenger coffee and you can customize it however you want too. Got a black coffee with butter pecan syrup and a splash of milk. As a baseball family that is at Creekside almost every weekend, this will definitely be our go-to spot in between games. Tried the key lime bomb and carrot cake. The carrot cake has an intensely sweet buttercream frosting, not cream cheese, so I was disappointed. The location is convenient for those of us on this side of Parkville, but my god these guys are so incompetent. Even a simple coffee order takes more than 10 minutes to get, and if you want to order food be ready to wait for more than 20 (regardless of how busy they are or which food item you order). The staff here is so young and consistently gets our order wrong or forgets things in our order. And don't think about ordering from a food delivery service - they don't know how to work with them.
