Today we were celebrating our friend's 75th birthday and she wanted to try Alice's Tea Pot cafe. None of us have ever been there before so we were excited. When you first walked in you are literally transported into Wonderland. It is so whimsical! We spent a good 10 minutes just looking around the restaurant and taking pictures it was so cute! Our waitress, Alana, quickly greeted our table and was so adorable and happy! We even commented to her that we've never seen a server be so happy and she told us about all the perks of working there. We quickly decided what we wanted to order, and then patiently waited for our food. Much to our surprise they had singers in the restaurant! Forbes serenaded us a few times and then, Alana belted it out some Disney Tunes! Both of their voices were incredible and it was a nice treat. The food arrived, and it was scrumptious! The birthday girl had the key and said it was so delicious! My fiance had the waffle and ate every bite. I had the stuff Nutella and pistachio croissant and it was good, although it seemed over toasted. All in all we had such a beautiful birthday brunch at this Cafe. It would be perfect for someone with children or grandchildren. It was like stepping into Disney without ever leaving Delray Beach! read more

You walk in from a Delray strip mall and walk into a fantasy. From the throne chairs to the indoor gazebo, to the amazing ceiling and (to my mind at least ) McKenzie-Childs feeling in part of the restaurant to the flowers and fanciful , whimsical touches this place is absolutely adorable and refreshing. Whether it be a fun and different kind of "ladies lunch" or dinner", a place to bring a special little girl or throw her a party here , it will be a magical experience I promise you. You can order high tea or just pots. They have a delicious menu with lovely choices. I very much enjoyed their quiche and a pot of vanilla caramel tea. And don't get me started on their desserts which are all made in-house. Although they hadn't started when I visited, I've heard that there are going to be singing waiters and interesting themed events as well. If I was going to pick on one singular thing that was wrong it's that for that particular day they were very short staffed. Super cute ambiance! Step through the door and you are instantly transported to a whimsical, beautiful place! We went here to celebrate Mother's Day. For Mother's Day, they were only serving high tea. But on other days, they have a lunch menu. The chicken salad on croissant sandwiches were delicious. The cucumber and egg salad tea sandwich were delightful. I always love scones with jam & cream. The only thing that was I was not thrilled with was the quiche. It was bland. Plus, I love a good crust on my quiches. The servers were attentive. The owner came out and introduced herself. Plus, we had entertainment, a girl singing to us. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The decor was just as described. Alice's wonderland. As special as the decor was, the service lacked. We were a party of 2. The waitress only brought over one of two coffee drinks ordered until we reminded her. The pistachio, Dubai chocolate latte was much too sweet to drink, and the cheddar and apple sandwich tasted like an apple sandwich on a small roll. The plate was filled with a healthy portion of green salad leaves dressed with apricot dressing. No other dressing choice! We both had the same order $80. We left hungry. This place is amazing! Love the Alice In Wonderland theme. Whimsical vibe all around. I went for high tea with some of my lady friends. We had the best time. The sweets and savories were deliciously offered on a three-tiered service tray. Plenty of each so no one left hungry. Each person's place setting was made up of a gorgeous mixed pattern China tea cup, saucer and luncheon plate. With the High Tea service everyone got to choose their own tea flavor and got it piping hot in their own colorful teapot. This is an excellent place for a ladies luncheon or girls birthday party or any other fancy fun occasions. I will definitely return for more High Tea adventures!! read more

Brought a guest to surprise her for her birthday. Both she and I have special Gluten Free needs medically. We enjoyed the salad with chicken salad and tuna salad. Complimented with a slice of very good gluten free bread. Alana and Forbes, part of the talented staff were very attentive. Forbes particularly serenaded us with his throwback style of music we loved. It was relaxed, fun, and delicious. This place is adorable. It has an immersive decor perfect for Instagram. They offer high tea, but we opted for lunch menu items instead. I selected the Tuscan chicken soup and quiche and my friend had the chicken salad on a croissant with lentil soup. We will have to try the high tea next time. read more

We were a large group. Some had been here before and did not like the experience but wanted to go with the group. The teapots were not replenished in a timely manner. I wondered if the same teabags were reused as the pots did not appear to be filled up. The desserts were mini muffins, cookies and small slivers of chocolate something. I think they came from Costco or the supermarket. The quiche was served in slivers that fell apart when you tried to pick them up. A person who had been there previously said they were frozen when she was there and not defrosted all the way. Maybe another Costco item. The sandwiches were skimpy but I think that might be normal. Not sure. The scones looked like they were home made. So, go for the atmosphere and not the food. read more

Once I walked in, the place was very whimsical and it looked like I was transported at the tea party in Alice in Wonderland! Very cute! A few adjustments could have been made with the restaurant: 1)The seats were so close together that we were elbow-to-elbow with each other that it was very uncomfortable to eat and pour the tea. 2) The server informed us that the restaurant was under new management and the menu online was completely different from the menu in-house, including the food prices. 3) I ordered the Quiche of the Day. The quiche was so over cooked that the fork couldn't go through the cheese and the crust. I notified the server about this and she offered an alternative which I accepted and the dish I ordered was better. Thin sliced turkey breast with marmalade and Brie. The turkey however looked like deli sliced turkey meat from a package. The entree came with a cup of soup or side salad and I had the curry chicken soup. The taste was fine but the chicken tasted like and had the consistency of canned chicken. 4) When it was time for the check, separate checks were given to each of us at the table but the server didn't come back for 15minutes (mind you, the lunch hour was done at this point. It was 2:45pm and there were only 3 small tables of customers). I went ahead and went to the cashier part of the restaurant and no one was at the window. One person, who didn't seem like she worked the front of the house, was fidgeting with utensils and I asked her if I can go ahead and pay. She asked if Lizzy was at the front. I said "I don't know who Lizzy is but there's no one here". Next thing you know, three people came out from the back of the kitchen and two of them were the servers. Did they really leave the front of the house unattended? And when we paid with credit cards, the server had the mobile card reader and she automatically chose the tip option for us. As in, we weren't given an option to choose how much to tip because she did it for us. Very strange. Long story short, this place could use some improvement. Will I come back here? No. It's my first and last time eating at the restaurant. read more

I had the best brunch with my 11 yrs old Granddaughter. The food was fresh and delicious. My scone was still warm. We got the tiered plates. Hers is the Princess one and mine adult size. All delicious. Served with salad or soup, again delicious. Would highly recommend!!!! read more

We were a group of eight ladies for high tea!! It was a fun afternoon The food and atmosphere were awesome and the service was hands on. I was very excited to have my high tea for 10 at Alice's Teapot based on the wonderful reviews. My reservation was mishandled twice, resulting in our group of ten being left without the lunch I so carefully planned with Christine. Christine was accountable for the error but that didn't help. I was left standing there with 10 women. I didn't even receive a call back to apologize nor an invitation for us to come back for our event. So disappointed! Response to Alice: Hi Alice, thanks for your response but please state what actually happened. Yes, I was very excited to have the Alice Room. What we were presented was the round table added to the rectangular table to accommodate our group. That table set up was very awkward. Also, we were offered a 20% discount on the mimosas and nothing else. Please continue to enjoy your restaurant and perhaps make more of an effort to track your reservations. read more

I saw an ad in a mailer of random ads I received. I enjoy teas, so I gave them a call and asked the questions I had. It sounded like a place I would enjoy. So, I headed to Alice's Teapot Cafe for High Tea. I was greeted right away and found a seat. I had a pot of Chai Tea with a bit of honey and cream to start. I was served a small fresh salad with a homemade dressing. Then, the finger sandwiches (Chicken Salad, Egg Salad, & Cream Cheese/Cucumber), two small Scones with Clotted Cream and Preserves, a small bunch of seedless Red Grapes, and some homemade Pastries. It was quite a bit of food, and I enjoyed everything. I took my time, and finished the entire pot of tea. I felt relaxed and sated. The cafe is decorated very nicely. There was a mural of flowering trees on the wall next to me, with actual branches and flowers coming out from the wall. Very cool. The ceiling was decorated as well. The server was very attentive and friendly. There were some oversized dining chairs, and sweetly decorated tables. A white British phone box and lots of other adorable touches. Went with 6 friends for High Tea. A delightful experience, waitress was so helpful and accommodating, the owner came by and said hello, the hostess checked on us several times. She has a lovely voice and sang a song for the full dining area. You could tell the food was made fresh; it was arranged artfully on a three tiered stand that every three or four people shared. The scones came hot with clotted cream and jam, the quiche came warm. The sandwiches were cold, the little pastries of assorted kinds were delicious. Everyone got their own pot of tea chosen from at least 12 different varieties. Everybody had a different teapot, a different teacup different plates. It was charming. We all left well fed and happy. There was a table of women near us that was very unhappy with their experience and did not seem to accept any solution that was offered. They were vocal and rude. The hostess was very apologetic to us about that and gave us a generous compensation for dealing with the atmosphere. We would have happily paid full price, but appreciated her kindness. This is a place with a fun atmosphere either very interesting decorations art fully done. The Queen of Hearts would be proud. read more
