We enjoyed our lunch here. We had to walk a bit to find the place after parking. The driving directions had us first stopping around the corner at the lobby building entrance. The valet parkers there didn't know about it. They will now. And we've corrected the pin drop as well. The place is opposite the boxing gym. The small Italian bakery and cafe has only been open for about two weeks. Simone, one of the owners, told us all about the fact that most everything there is made in house. He said that they also have a small "store" to sell other items -- like pasta -- from Italy. He is from Milan (and misses Italy). From the outside, you'd think the place is smaller than it is. There's outside seating, but there's also a nice inside section with tables as well. And this gives you a good view of their cheese/meat counter as well as their baked goods, quiches, lasagna, and pastries. My husband had the Eataliano salad with tuna. It reminded me of a salade nicoise -- lots of mixed greens, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, tuna fish, and hardboiled eggs. He said it was wonderful -- and he ate every bit including the greens that I gave him from my plate, too. I had one of their panini sandwiches. First off, the thick house-made bread was delicious. The sandwich was cut in two pieces, so I ate one half and took the other home. I got their Parma sandwich. It comes with a small side salad of mixed greens and tomatoes. The sandwich had prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella, basil, lettuce, and tomato. I had it without the mayonnaise (listed on the menu). One of my favorite desserts is torta (tarta) de nonna. This crumbly "grandmother" cake has a lemony filling but isn't overly sweet. I'd seen online that they had this dessert. Unfortunately, they did not have it the day we stopped by. Instead, they'd done a version with Nutella as a filling. I'm not a big Nutella liker. But I will say that this dessert looked quite good -- enough for me to try in the future. And afterwards, I realized that Italian nutella has more hazelnuts and less sugar than the commercial brand here, so I'll have to ask which they use. We will definitely be back. We still have to try one of their coffees and pastries. But definitely for more lunch options.

Nonna Cake with Nutella - outstanding!

We've been visiting since their old location, and I was so happy to see them move into their beautiful new space. We'll definitely be stopping by again soon. The owners are truly wonderful people -- always so positive, kind, and welcoming. You can feel how much love and care goes into this place. The pastries and desserts are beautifully made (many created by the owner herself), and everything tastes just as amazing as it looks. My personal favorite was the lemon-shaped pastry -- it looked so incredibly realistic, almost too pretty to eat, and it was absolutely delicious. Their coffee is always excellent, the staff is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and elegant. I also love the little details, like how they serve tea with a tiny dried flower bouquet -- such a thoughtful and aesthetic touch. They also have unique jewelry pieces, and I've even bought a few bracelets there myself. This place is truly special, and I highly recommend it if you love beautiful French pastries, great coffee, and a charming atmosphere.

"Oh my god- they have the fruit that's going viral on TikTok. We have to try it!" I'm not one to say no to a 15 year old for anything that's going viral on TikTok so stepped inside this adorable cafe and placed an order for the viral mango. I almost passed out when they rang me up for $18 for a tiny dessert, but I guess it is famous. They put it on a plate at the register and when I reached for it said "oh we'll bring it to you." Perhaps the handing of the pastry is part of the $18 fee. We found a table and 30 seconds later the infamous mango appeared in front of us. It took us about 3 minutes to eat and it was tasty- a hard shell, mango inside and maybe some custard. We both decided it was very good, but not $18 good. I"m glad we tried it, but I probably wouldn't get the viral fruit again for the price alone. However, I did find this cafe to be adorable and would stop back in here the next time I'm in Atlantic Avenue for other treats. Hopefully the non viral pastries aren't priced quite as high.

They have breads, croissants, mozzarella rolls, baguettes, savory items and amazing looking pastries. This is a Brazilian bakery, and yes, I sought it out for this reason! Their pastel de nata is delicious, as is their Brazilian cheese balls. I picked up 2 different pre-packaged boxes from their boxes section- having no idea what they were- and both were unique and delicious- one looked light a plain white twisted cookie, but the flavor was lemony. Another was dark brown with a white sugary something dusted on top- and it had a unique flavor I could not identify, but tasted unique to me, not overly sweet. Every time I've visited, there has been an abundance of waitstaff on hand available to take and fill orders. They have been kind and patient, while also making coffees. There are tables and chairs at the front for eating and drinking on site.
