The pizza came to our table very hot. It was too hot to touch with my fingers. After our taste of the pizza, we knew why this place has a phenominal average of 4..8 with over 500 reviews. Almost all five star ratings. It is as good as pizza can get. As good as the best anywhere, including NYC. Too bad that we do not live nearby in South Florida, to be able to go there any time. The pizza crust had good char and the crust had good taste. Thickness was about right. Ratio of cheese and tomato sauce was right. The last bite of the pizza that I had was as good as the first. (I rarely say things like that in my pizza reviews). This was five star, all the way. Modern Italian music played. Restaurant was clean. Plenty of parking available.

Our waitress hardly checked in until the end of the meal, with minimal follow-up during dinner. The situation escalated when, after paying, our waitress, Haley B, approached the table in a confrontational manner, questioning me directly--three separate times--about the tip, in front of the entire group. Gratuity should reflect the quality of both service and overall experience; being pressured for a higher tip despite the lack of attention was entirely out of line. To make matters worse, my follow-up call to management was equally disappointing. The response was all talk, no action. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism left a lasting negative impression.
