Alicia is one of realest out there I am glad I found this place. I have been coming here for over 2 years and always with a great customer service! I can always count on Alicia whenever I need a trim for my dogs, Very convenient with my busy schedule to just come through and whenever I txt she's always available! Thank you for always being available for my dogs and I really do appreciate you!

Absolutely amazing. You can tell that they care about each and every individual dog as if they were their own. I have a shih tzu mix named Dingo and he is a naturally anxious dog especially when it comes to scissors around his eyes. Dingo has cherry eyes in both of his eyes. They told me that he was a sweetheart, just nervous. They even gave him a little bandana. They exceeded my expectations because I knew he had a hard time being groomed around his face, but they did amazing. I'm grateful for them, would recommend them!

Just picked Monty up from Alicia's. Oh my God, he's so cute. It's killing me. They do such a great job and they are so sweet with him. He's not the easiest guy to groom. But they are so patient and caring.

First time ever to this groomer! Just horrid experience . It was weird walking in. Not any kind of papers or waivers were signed before you hand your dog over to release them selfs from liability for possible hurt or harm . Very unprofessional stoic cold wicked energy. I was asked Do you have an appointment ( .. That was it. No welcome in or nothing!!! I said "good morning" you can hear a pin drop never no-one said good morning, or hello, or your first time here, every employees 'back was facing me. I greeted out loud "good morning to all inside... "a couple of times" ... then the groomer barely looked me in the face when I approached w Merci. I gave her a compliment on her make up just to break the ice explained what my dog needed in terms of grooming and if she can do the Miami cut she didn't know what that was. No waivers or papers were signed for any case of emergency's and if even my dog had her shots it never came up ! I was truly upset to see my dog when I came to pick her up 3 hours after dropping her off !! She was Bleeding on upper chest seriously red and the groomer applied hydro peroxide and bleeding under her neck and then again all in her chest and stomach area! And everyone that was at this business 3 people and the (1) groomer and then another one from hell this is a poodles nightmare , just horrible!!!! Enclosing I will not recommend this business to anyone!!!!

OMG! Alicia and her staff were great! So great that I gave her a 20 bucks tip, because my dog was in bad shape . on top of that, she's close to my house! She is definitely Dyno's new groomer! Oh and not to mention, moms was pretty cool too!

I love this groomer, she was referred to me by a friend. She did a wonderful job on my Shih Tzu. Exactly how I wanted Petey to be cut. She is so sweet and really cares about the dogs and cats!

This was my first time brining my pup here. Alicia did an excellent job and the price wasn't bad either! $60 for a bath,haircut,express anal glandes, teeth brushing ect. I will definitely be coming back!

1st time getting my baby groomed. He was happy and he looks so CUTE!! They did an amazing job. My little guy looks so much better.

First of all this place is a total scam. After I picked up my cat Tigger, he looked all shocked and scared. The next day he was sick. I don't know what this place has done to my healthy Tigger. But I'm pretty sure they have something to do with his sickness. His sickness was so bad that the Vet had to put him down. I am shocked and especially angry at what happened to my Tigger. I won't point any fingers at anyone but I have a strong feeling that Alica's polished pet has something to do with my cat's sickness and death. REST IN PEACE MY LITTLE BABY TIGGER.

Great place- they are so good with the pets. Her grooming is excellent. We love the way our dog looks when groomed. We used to drive to Alamo to get our dog groomed but since we found Alicia we are so happy and don't have to drive 50 minutes each way! Fair price, excellent care, excellent grooming! read more

If you are ever curious about if your dog is done after 4 hours, do not call and ask. Alicia will yell at you for asking and take it as a sign of disrespect and decline to finish your dog. read more

If you are looking to support a local business n get a really good grooming for amazing affordable prices then I recommend coming here! I took my 12 year old bichon frise to pet smart to get his grooming done n my husband brought him back and I could not even recognize him n they told me he was uneven because he was trying to bite him so it was his fault. I waited for his hair to grow back n my aunt recommended Alicia's she said you won't be disappointed. I warned staff that pet smart said my dog tried to bite but when I picked him up staff said he was great he let them do whatever they had to do n he enjoyed going. I kept coming back for the. Next. 5 years until he passed away. Then i adopted a yorkie mix n I told staff she's very skiddish so just becareful I'm not sure if she will try to bite but if anything next time I'll bring a muzzle if needed n when I came to pick her up I was expecting a bad report but she said no she actually did really great n she was a pleasure to have. He took the time to be patient with my dog n for my dog to take to her grooming so well that tells you the kind of care they take with your dogs because my dog being in a new environment got a lil snippy with me the first time I bathed her but they knew how to handle my dog very well. I'll be coming back her until my new baby girl passed the rainbow bridge. I even recommended a few coworkers read more

When we recently got our dog I asked for a referral and that place was not accepting new clients but recommended Alicia's. Score! We have been so happy! Alicia was really great and patient with our nervous rescue. She asks what kind of cut we want, communicates really well, is accommodating to schedule challenges, is fairly priced, and is very nice! I would unreservedly recommend Alicia's for your grooming needs! (Your dog's - not yours). read more

I have been taking my dogs to Alicia for quite a few years now. She is always so accommodating and always does a great job. One of my dogs is quite old, and it was way overdue for his grooming. He was so bad, that I was embarrassed to bring him in. Alicia is a true professional. She can handle anything. Seriously! I was so happy when I saw him that I wanted to cry. I had moved to Fremont and I tried someone down the street from where I live, because it was so close. What a nightmare. My other dog looked so bad and that horror in Niles actually even cut my dog. That was a huge mistake. Alicia is absolutely worth the drive. I won't stray again. She ALWAYS does a fantastic job on both my difficult dogs, and she is at least half the price of any of these other groomers. Yes, that's right HALF THE PRICE, and she is the very best!!! Why go anywhere else?? So grateful for her! read more

Loved the personal experience at Alicia's Polished Pets. My mom recently passed and left me with a dog. Well. If you know me, you know I'm a cat man. They're easier to take care of and I'm a super busy person. I have no idea what dogs need beyond the common sense stuff. Alicia, the owner, was very patient and thoughtful, took the time to explain what she was going to do (who knew dogs needed their teeth brushed? Not me); she has a flexible drop off schedule and was willing to work with me on the pick up time. Little Leila was happy when I picked her up, looked terrific after her haircut and smelled terrific. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It was a little bit of a hike across town but was worth it. Plus I LOVE supporting small businesses as a small business owner myself. 5 STARS all the way!! read more

Alicia was able to schedule with me for my 1 year old French bulldog on short notice and I waited while he got his groom. It was his first time going to any groomer. They were fast, efficient, and kind to my dog and myself. He looks good, smells good, nails are trimmed, ears clean, teeth clean, we are happy customers!! read more

Brought my dog Luca to this groomer several months ago and will not be bringing him back. We brought him in for a hair CUT, to trim his coat and even it out. Upon picking him up, we got a dog completely shaved other than his tail and his face. Not only was he shaved, but it was uneven. I started taking my dog Didi to Alicia when I first adopted her four years ago. I love the patience Alicia has with my dog because my dog is very anxious and Alicia makes her feel welcome every time. We take all of our (3) dogs there for grooming and nail trim, best place in the area. Alicia is very personable and very nice. I only go to her. I always call first but can usually get an appointment the same day. We wait for our dogs but you don't have to. Her rates are the best that I have found. read more

I have a hard time trusting people with my dogs because of all the horror stories that I hear and read about but there's no one that I would trust more than Alicia. I have been going here for the last couple of years and have never been disappointed. Not only are they the cheapest price around ($40 small dog) but they also smell great and look beautiful when I get them back. Would definitely recommend to others. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!! This is the worst place I've ever taken my dog. As soon as i got there the owner was yelling at the dogs and kicking the dog cages. If I could give a zero star I would. I took my dog in and when I picked her up, she was trembling. She keep shaking her head because they probably put water in her ear. It's been a couple days and she was helping and HER EAR WAS BLEEDING! I called the owner to tell them that if they caused it they would have to pay the bill. The owner started yelling at me and saying she was like that but I KNOW my dog. She also hung up on me. My dog is in pain! WORST PLACE EVER!! read more

i just had the worst experience here...this is my first time bringing my dog here and first impression...bad!!! the lady that greeted me was rude....then i decided to wait for my dog....another lady came out and also very rude..."are you waiting for your pet or what??? cuz the other person was first!" i was like, its ok, i can wait...then not even 5 minutes later she walks back out and just shoves my dog to me and says, "we cant see her" then walks away...i will never come back here, recommend this place to family or friends.... read more

My dogs are both super high energy, and they always seem to return relaxed from their stays. I like that there are certain activities they do with the dogs and that they video / photograph it daily. I do feel like a live camera would be nice but I understand that can bring more complications. Lastly, their actual place has gotten WAY nicer since I first went there. Finding a local groomer became one of the many challenges for me. Based on the reviews, I chose this groomer. They are located at the west end of downtown CV. Walking in the store front, it has a very homey friendly country feel. They do not put dogs in crates. My dog has great separation anxiety so not being confined in a crate is a great relief. My appointment made via phone, requires a $50 deposit. My morning appointment, my dog was immediately taken in the back after grooming requirements were collected. Again, being a first time owner, they walk me through steps. A ninety minutes expectation was given for their work and they would text me to pick up. Upon my return, I was walk through grooming tips and tools (Coombs and brushes, and other products). I appreciate the advice. Since my dog's hair was knotted, he was trimmed very close. They were prepared to scheduled the next appointment but I held off so I can reflect on the overall experience. My dog was appeared fine from this experience though the trim could be more even throughout. Luckily the fur will grow back and no one will know the difference. I was sent a link to schedule appointments online. Overall I hit a very favorable impression with the store front and friendly staff. I definitely will schedule future grooming appointments.

From day one, Roy made us feel completely at ease. He sent daily photos and videos of Dior having the time of his life with his furry friends, which was huge for us since Dior never really got to socialize like that before. Seeing him so happy, relaxed, and genuinely enjoying himself made all the difference. Roy clearly loves what he does and treats the dogs like his own. Roy at PawPaw is truly amazing and the only person I trust. I came home to a beautiful, clean and better dog than when I left!! It's like she remembers her early training again-- she sits on command, is quiet on command (now HOW did you do that??!!) and is just perfect!! Holy cow!! Roy sends pictures and videos every day so you know that she is safe and happy. I loved seeing her "tucked in" at night with the other pups. Unfortunately, the haircut on our cockapoo turned out looking butchered and didn't really have much shape or style. It wasn't the fluffy look we usually go for. For now, we're just waiting for our dog's hair to grow back so we can take her back to our regular groomer and get that fluffy style we love again. While we truly appreciate how sweet and patient she was with our dog, the final grooming result just wasn't what we were hoping for.

I've been going to Alicia for almost 3 years now, never disappointed me, she is been very nice with my dog Angel and the new addition Bella (toy poodle).She is doing an amazing job every time we go there.
