Communication was nearly non-existent and we had to keep asking for updates. Once all windows were installed, the caulk job was so bad that even after the second installers came and "fixed" it, it cracked and looked horrible. So we paid nearly $40,000 for windows that my husband has had to spend hours removing the caulk and fixing. Save your money and go with Home Depot or Lowes.

I was told 10 business days and they would call me to schedule an appointment. I never heard from them some 20 days later and called the business. I got the run around for several days. I finally got a call back and got on the schedule for June 17th, 2020. They arrived late and my wife heard the installer, Chad, say he had not done one of these doors for well over a year. After the door and partition were installed, I found they were not measured correctly. I contacted Caldwell Glass and spoke to them. They advised they would not replace the door. They stated it was an issue with the tile. I told them the tile was installed prior to them measuring and that they measured wrong. Instead of remeasuring and replacing the parts, they found a Band-Aid for the problem. They did make some effort to fix the partition. However, they either measured the replacement glass wrong or used the old glass, as there is a very large gap on the back of the glass that they filled with silicone. I reached out to the owner Thad and he blamed their supplier and the tile for the issues. At the end of the day, he would not take responsibility for any of the issues. Ultimately, I filled complaints with the BBB and the Idaho Contractors Board over this situation. It appears Caldwell Glass came under new ownership at the beginning of 2020 and is not the same company the Treasure Valley once knew. I would NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY as you were likely by disappointed.

I had two other roof people come to look at my house, one guy never came back and the other never got in touch with my insurance. Both of them said it looked like it was just an old roof and insurance probably would not cover it. AND THEN I MET SCHONIE from Treasure Valley Exteriors.... She spent more than an hour on my roof. She really knew her stuff, and she contacted our insurance for us!! She also made sure she was here when the insurance adjuster came here to look at our roof. Even though other people told me insurance wouldn't cover the price of my roof, when Schonie did all that work, my insurance approved a new $19,000 roof within 3 days of being contacted by her. Also what made good even better..... was that it only took ONE day for them to put the roof on! ONE DAY!!!! My neighbors were astonished because some of their roofs took 3 days to install. Plus the crew that did our roof was amazing!!! They swept and blew off the property as well as going over it with a big magnet To pick up any nails or staples they might have missed. Thank you Treasure Valley Exteriors! Schonie Lee, and the awesome crew that did our roof! Also It would be pretty nice if homeowners would offer the shade of a tree or the shade of their backyard for the people who work so hard on their roof. I noticed that these guys put towels and blankets over their windows because that's where they take a break, in their hot car! Well I had An Ice chest full of water, some cookies and offered my patio for them to sit in the shade. I was told that never happens for them? So if you have a roof done just remember those people working in the blazing heat and at the very least have some water, and offer the shade of a tree and maybe buy them some popsicles or a snack, they deserve it!!!!
