Was walking around and looked on Yelp to see this place pop up. So decided to check it out and enjoy something from here. Ube latte which was delicious and flavorful. I would say if you are into Ube this could be the spot for you! This coffee shop is also in the Marriott hotel in the lobby area. Was not hard to find. But I did walk here so I'm not quite sure about the parking situation.

I only came across Ali'i coffee on one of my last days in Oahu unfortunately. It's located in the Courtyard by Marriott, which I didn't realize so initially I walked right past it. I stopped by early in the morning, hoping to grab a quick breakfast and coffee. Unfortunately, there was a long line ahead of me already at ~6:30am. Most of their customers are probably people staying the the hotel or very close by, so it's easy and quick for them to just get out of bed and head over. I would have loved to try out more of their coffees, like the taro cube, but I went with the classic royal honey latte. For food, I got the breakfast sandwich, which had egg, ham, cheese, avocado, tomato, onion, and chili aioli on ciabatta bread. It also came with some chips. The sandwich was $18, so very steep, but it's also a lot of food, and it was really good. There's seating inside, but it's rather small and didn't feel so comfortable with a steady stream of people coming in and out. I ended up taking my latte and food out into the seating area of the hotel off of the lobby. There were a lot of people meeting up there before they headed off to their group's activities, so after eating a bit of my food, I actually took the rest to go. I wish I had discovered this place earlier so I could really enjoy their food and drinks in a more relaxed manner!

During my stay at the Courtyard, Ali'i became the de facto choice for the first morning's coffee due to its proximity. Located in the lobby, this place opens up early. We tried the Ube Latte the first day and man it was good. While there were so many other options in Waikiki for morning breakfast and coffee, we just went going back every day for the rest of our stay for our first caffeine of the day. Their caramel coconut latte was good too but not as great as the Ube latte. They use locally sourced Kona beans too. The staff were super polite and accommodating as well. While they do have a seating area, it's small but also never crowded. If you are in Waikīkī, this cafe is worth a try!

We stayed at the courtyard by Marriott and the entrance is conveniently located in the lobby. I had the banana float latte and it was so delicious! Service is fast and friendly and they offer kamaaina discount too! My son had their açaí bowl and he gobbled it all r

On the ground floor of the Courtyard Waikiki. Friendly service and nice, although a little small, interior. They can get really busy around 7:30 am, so good to get in before then is possible. The taro-ube latte (hot) is very good. TheAli'l michigan waffle, and avocado toast were also very good.

During peak times, be prepared to wait for your order. Their coffee can be a little pricey, but since they're conveniently located, I don't mind the wait to get my morning coffee fix here.

The only place opened nearby our hotel in the AM. I woke up extra early while on vacay and of course I love my morning coffee. This was only a few blocks away. I ordered a ube latte and avocado toast. They were both absolutely delicious. There's red pickled onions in the toast making it come together perfectly. My tastebuds were dancing!! I loved it! There was a line when I got there and the sun wasn't even out yet. But I can see why people come here. Service is quick and the food is very good.

We came here a few times over our stay and it was wonderful every time. The ube flavored coffee drinks was delicious and so was the matcha. The yogurt cup was so light and filling and the breakfast sandwich was delicious. The chips, so flavorful with hot honey. The staff were also so kind. The space is a bit small, but it's cute.

Small cafe in a hotel, convenient for anyone staying but also a solid location close to everything. Service was great, super friendly. Strawberry Matcha Latte - good balance of ingredients, solid flavor when mixed! Only downside was the matcha being somewhat powdery and not whisked very well. There were some clumps at the bottom but the sips at the top were great.

Very nice people here. I like that they have a friend of the week (a furry friend!) Their ube latte is strong!! Very strong ube flavor, yum! It is located inside a hotel so the cafe is a little small with limited seating.

Was looking to grab some coffee before exploring and this place was down the street from my airbnb. Saw they had a taro ube latte and I was immediately sold. First - the rich, deep color is gorgeous. I've never had anything ube with such a dark purple color. I would say the looks match the taste. The flavor is very rich and strong so keep that in mind. Overall delicious!

This coffee shop is tucked in the Courtyard Marriott. I love all things ube so i had to try their ube latte which i really liked although it is on the sweeter side. I also got their lomi salmon on an everything bagel and it was a nice lil brekkie. Service is great and didn't have to wait long for our order. Will definitely be back!

Local breakfast sandwich & iced salted honey cinnamon latte.

I wanted a good breakfast so I asked the hotel staff and they actually said go to the café downstairs. I had the iced salted cinnamon honey latte & the local breakfast sandwich. It had Portuguese sausage, red onion, tomato & egg on a croissant. It was hands down the best breakfast sandwich I've had. The staff is super friendly. Shout out to the ladies and gent who gave me some cool hikes. Btw that pillbox hike was no joke.

Conveniently located near Duke's, there's one outdoor table nearby, but really, just pick up a sandwich and take it to the beach! Staff was very friendly. Plenty of options for sandwiches and salads (and maybe more options, just what I noticed). I got the tuna sandwich and added a slice of pepper jack. I said no mayo or mustard, though I'd probably recommend mayo. There are so many veggies that it needs a little sauce. The veggies make you feel like you're eating something super healthy! There wasn't a ton of tuna in the sandwich, but half was filling enough for me. I'll save the rest for tomorrow.

Skipping this place would be a crime. And prices are very reasonable for what you get. It's a hidden gem, tucked inside the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort just to the right of Duke's. I've been here many times and have ordered both smoothies and sandwiches. Let me tell you, the bread is incredibly soft, the greens are crisp and fresh, and the protein is ALWAYS tasty. The team works hard to craft your sandwich every time, and I always get a warm "thank you" when I pick mine up (I swear I got into a thank-you battle once, and of course, they won). I highly recommend the tuna sandwich. It's seasoned perfectly and generously filled with tuna. The greens are always piled high. Shredded carrots, spinach leaves, and more sprouts than you'd think possible. It's healthy and DELICIOUS. I usually add avocado, and the sandwich with avocado comes out to $13.75, which is a great deal for Waikiki. Oh! and you get a little skewer of two pineapple slices! It's cute, refreshing, and perfectly ripe every time. The last smoothie I ordered was the Avocado Green Island. It's made with mango, avocado, spinach, banana, greek yogurt, and coconut milk. It's creamy, slightly tangy, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. I've also tried their chicken salad sandwich (money!) and my favorite, the Captain Salad. I recommend getting it with Caesar dressing. The brand of ranch they use isn't really my thing. They also have a homemade balsamic vinagarette that sounds amazing. The salad is huge, topped with turkey and generous crumbles of bacon. I'm telling you, they're serving hit after hit after hit at this spot. Go and enjoy ASAP!

This place was just two blocks away, so we braved the November misty rain and consistent wind through the buildings to make it over here. To be fair, this seemed more like a Vietnamese coffee joint and a Banh Mi place... so maybe coming here for pho wasn't our best idea. They had two kinds available that night-- beef and chicken. Since chicken pho is not something I'm willing to try, we both ordered up the dac biet. The broth was bland with a thin and unpleasant veil of grease along the top that congealed quickly on the rim of the bowl. It wasn't hot enough, or maybe the pre-cooked and chilled noodle block they poured it over cooled it off. Meat was chewy and low quality. The sprouts and basil were soggy and wilted. Honestly, it was a get up and leave kind of thing. The whole place was just dingy and didn't feel great. I've eaten at some very modest places in my native San Gabriel Valley in Southern California, so it's not a snobbery thing. I think that you should be able to taste a bit of everything in the sandwich with every bite. There have been times that the pickled red onion was on the skimpy side - like 80% of the time. To me a great sandwich is when everything is evenly spread on the bread (house mayo, hummus, garlic aioli, etc.) and evenly laid out (turkey, chicken, meats, etc.) and not just piled high in the center with the edges bare. Today my Duke sandwich was fantastic! Whoever made it literally had everything evenly spread and laid out on my multigrain bread. The lettuce was over the edges, but who cares. The carved turkey was moist and the bacon had the right amount of crunch. I actually had pickled red onions in every bite and not just a few pieces pulled apart by the layers and spread out on top of the meat. They're also slapping down some of the best local Hawaiian ingredients into these here sanguines. The pesto itself was mac-nut based, which was intriguing. I'll be honest, I couldn't taste the difference between that and a pine nut pesto, but it was friggin delish pesto either way. The only downside I can think of is that the bread here lands somewhere between "ok" and "good". I've never had a bread quite like it, but it reminds me of a mix between an artisanal white bread, and a painini bread that you would find in Italy. It got the job done, but I feel like it could be upgraded. Sprout is worth a visit before or after your beach trip. The surrounding neighborhood is also a lively area with tons of fun restaurants and shopping.
