As with most of the great places like this, the store front isn't much. It sets in a small strip mall. You walk in and they have a loaded case of goodies. By the time we finished buying there were about 5 people in line behind us. That's a good sign and this was the middle of the afternoon. Five-star ratings are rare for me, but we had a couple of opportunities to sample the food here while staying nearby at My Place, and I don't know how it could be any better! The sweets are amazing, and the lunch choices (most of them seem to be traditional Russian favorites like borscht and pieroshki) are inexpensive and delicious. When I saw pelmeni on the menu, I knew I had to have some, since I hadn't seen any offered elsewhere for several years. They were perfect! My only complaint was that although all the tables were empty, most were needing to be cleaned. However, the couple who run this place clearly work hard-- can you believe this little shop stays open 'til 10 p.m.!-- and I'm guessing we just caught them at a time when they had fallen a little behind. read more

Great assortment. I hear lots of great things about their cakes. They have a wonderful attitude and are never in a rush to take your money and kick you out the door. Their baklava is good and their cannoli recipes are good. I can't remember the names of all of the other pastries that I have consumed here. There are many to choose from. If they are with a customer and it is taking a long time, have patience. They will give you the same attention. Many people get their wedding cakes here. The pastries are cheap and they taste incredible. Pierozkis are extremely filling, delicious, and dirt cheap (2 bucks for spinach + cheese). Personal favorite is the banana hazelnut cake. If this place were closer to where I live I'd have a serious problem not visiting for lunch daily. read more

The peroshkies were a wonderful lunch at the right price. The French macaroons were perfect. The mousse cup was wonderful and the squirrel nuts were a nice snack. The server was friendly and helpful. This appears to be the only place of it's kind in the Tri-Cities. My parents like the cannoli, they have peach cookies that i've never had anywhere else, and they even have Piroshkis. This may be a 5, but i don't really have anything to compare it to. Definitely a must try in the cities. read more

Hands down the best bakery in the Tri-Cities. The first time my family of three went ordered one of everything, took it home and each took one bite of each item to decide what was the best offering they had. Its hard to judge this place because I moved here from the East Coast where Euro-type bakeries were in abundance... and never disappointed. This place... meh. Though props to the Tri Cities for even having a European bakery. That in and of itself is amazing. I ordered a chocolate eclair, German chocolate cupcake, and a cheesecake cupcake. The eclair wasn't very eclair like. The cream in the middle was a stiff chocolate concoction. The German chocolate cupcake was dry with the same stiff chocolate cream used as the icing. The cheesecake cupcake wasn't bad, but it was also topped with the same stiff cream (though, not chocolate). It was like they purchased some bakery cream in bulk from Costco. It just was not good cream. Now, if I were to rate this place based on their savory items... I would give it five stars just for the cabbage piroshky alone. Oh man. I will definitely be back for more of these. I'd never had one of these before and it was AMAZING. I also tried the spinach cheese piroshky and it was just subpar. But the cabbage... Oh, the cabbage... so delicious. It gets five stars all by itself. read more

Walked in to this cute little place and was presently surprised with the atmosphere. They have nice seating and a TV, with some small kids toys in there. Then we walked up to the dessert display and saw all the amazing looking dishes they had in there. We went in at about 7:45 at night and there was a selection, but seemed a little slim as it was late in the day and made sense. I also noticed that they sell lunch type foods so I'll have to go in at an earlier time during the day to try some of those and to see what other desserts they have.
