Wow, do you guys know how hard it is to find a professional tailor to do trustworthy alterations? Fabric working is definitely a skilled craft, and I am SO glad I found Ali. This was my first time experience. I had two fluffy knit yarn cardigan sweaters that needed hemming, they were too long and dragged on the ground. I recently moved to Hayward and needed to find a reliable tailor. I also did not wish to wait an entire week to get my items back, and preferred to have them back sooner. I found Ali on Yelp and after a quick phone call was able to set up an in home fitting the day of, and my turn around time for two cardigan sweaters was two days. Two days later as promised, he delivered my items back to my house for the second fitting and my sweaters were done with excellent stitching and excellent quality work. He was also dressed impeccably in a perfectly fitted suit, which was impressive. I can't wait to have him alter my special occasion dresses next. I am so pleased to have found Ali and definitely will be contacting him again for any future alterations. I hit a bit of a panic mode when my bridesmaid dress arrived a size too large for my friend's upcoming wedding. I knew I had to get it tailored significantly - waist, length and all. So convenient and extra plus - any other alteration place closes at 6PM - I got my dress dropped off before 830PM. I went on Yelp to find someone who can alter some of my blazers and came across Alitailors. His prices are fair and gets the alterations done pretty quick compared to how fast the local dry cleaner can get the job done. He is very professional and an expert at his craft. Bonus is that he comes to you for pickup and dropoff. After the initial alteration, I got several more pieces altered by him as well as alterations done for my wife and father-in-law.
