There was no proper assessment of my skin to determine the appropriate wavelength or energy settings; I was simply told a "medium" setting would be used for a first session for safety. Although I shared my past results, I was told by Fairy that IPL can't remove dark spots or freckles, which contradicts both my experience and widely available information about the treatment. After the session, I didn't experience any of the typical post-treatment reactions, such as redness, and I saw no results in the weeks that followed. Overall, this felt like a combination of outdated equipment and limited experience with delivering effective IPL results. I wouldn't recommend this spa for IPL.

The nurse didn't have the "before/procedure " pictures ready, so she told me she would send them to me with the after picture she took. I was surprised, because I thought the result should be reviewed in person. She suggested showing me some before and after pictures of other patients and suggested to buy additional services if I wasn't seing satisfactory results. I didn't find that relevant at all, and let her know I would like to judge based on my own before and after photos. Since then, I have called four separate times to follow up. Each time, the receptionist assured me that the information would be sent "right away," but nothing ever happened. A week later, I would have to call again and repeat the entire process. The lack of follow-through, poor communication, and failure to keep commitments have been very frustrating. While customer service begins with making promises, it also requires keeping them. Unfortunately, my experience has been one of repeated assurances without any action.

The spots are less than a CM wide. I went in for a consult with Trish and it was super rushed to just go ahead and do the laser without explaining. I had to ask all questions on the process and there is no warranty or assurance provided if the treatment doesn't do anything (which it didn't). I'd save up and go to somewhere else for any laser service.
