I used their transport service to have my cat taken to the Warren office to be spayed. It was a very odd set up. The office is TINY with 2 people at the desk trying to take car of everybody. They do check in at 7:00 am, so there were probably 20 people & animals crammed into the area, with no real way of knowing who was there first. It seemed like controlled chaos. But, the young women at the desk were very friendly and efficient. At the time you're there, you can request other offered services. I asked that they microchip my cat, so they added that. When I came to pick up my cat the next day, I learned that she'd already been spayed! That being the case, I have no idea why the vet I'd previously taken her to gave me all the information about spaying her (at about 5 times the price of this rescue.) They said they couldn't refund any of my money because they had to sedate her and "go in there" before they realized the situation. I'm glad it as only $40. I wasn't really comfortable with the assembly-line feel of the place and that my kitty was just one of a herd, but if you need low-cost sterilization, this is not a bad place to go. read more

If I could give less stars I would. Extremely poor service and hard to contact, they do not communicate well at all and they do not treat you how customers should be treated. They refused to help us when our dog was in need of help with his skin condition all because they didn't like my girlfriend. They are a no frills, no thrills type of organization, but the staff is friendly and they took good care of my pet. They definitely handle the animals on spay/neuter day because it's like an assembly line, but I have no complaints. To me for my GSDs spay compared to my other GSDs vet visits, I will take this and the cost is definitely more affordable. The facility was clean for being a warehouse converted into this type of facility. I would definitely use again for having my animal fixed. Recommended by a friend. I love this place and their mission goal. they're really making a difference with the stay population. They have always taken good care of my fur baby. I get all his vaccinations here and he was neutered here. I was nervous about the neutering process since I was a first time fur parent. The staff took the time to walk me through the facility and tell me about the process putting me at ease. Thet even let me bring a blanket from home that he could have in his crate while recovering. They're affordable, knowledgeable and very friendly. I don't trust many people why my dog, but I trust them and recommend them to all my friends and family. Clinton Township and Mount Clemens residents can get feral cats fixed for free here under special grant funding. My neighbor and I took one of the feral neighborhood cats in this morning for spay/neuter. I didn't count all the dogs that were there (maybe 5 or 6), but I saw 12 cats in pet transports and 5 feral cats, in addition to the 1 we took in. Drop off between 8 and 10am, cats are picked up the next morning at 7:15am. The facility was bright and clean, without the smells I have encountered in other facilities around the county. It was well-staffed and the wait for drop-off wasn't long at all. I understand they have a couple mobile spay/neuter labs available, with the rotating schedule posted on their calendar. They also rent or loan out live traps here. Their website is very informative about how to trap cats, with videos and plans for making traps for the do-it-yourselfer. The Trap Neuter Return (TNR) program is explained, and they even have a tab on the website for the Spay Michigan campaign, showing where to spay in each county. Of course, as a non-profit, they can always use donations to help defray the costs associated with running a humane operation such as this. read more

Their phone is very hard to get thru. I asked to confirm the vaccination status of the neighbor's dog and the staff kept telling me she can't becauses it's the privacy law and the owner doesn't have to either then hangs up. I don't understand how a place that's supposed to help pets would give hard time to the people as well. First of all, the staff's manner is very unprofessional. Second, I have not found the "privacy law" and I do have a few cats and if someone just wanted to confirmed the vaccination status with the vet, I don't mind at all as it's a PUBLIC SAFETY concern. Third, my family enjoys doing the yard work and the dog sometimes comes over, hence, I have legitimate concerns for such a matter and the staffs simply ignores all of it and just shut me off like I am an idiot who has no place in the "pet loving circle". It's great what this organization does, but they need to fire the woman in charge of vetting transport in the mornings at their various pickup locations in Detroit. She is one of the absolute most horribly rude and unpleasant people I've ever had the displeasure of working with. If you hate animals that much, why are you working for a rescue? She is absolutely miserable and makes sure to let everyone know it. I've never heard her have a pleasant interaction with anyone in my many drop offs with this organization. It's enough to make people not want to use All About Animal's services anymore. The way she berates people in front of others, is condescending and generally a nasty person makes me want to find a different place to get vet care for my animals. I brought in a semi feral cat in the to Warren facility today for vaccines. This cat lives indoors and is somewhat socialized, follows me around the house and and will even let me pet him. After explaining to their staff last week his situation, I was assured that they could handle him and that there was no need to bring him in in a trap. Once the tech came into the exam room today she proceeded to tell me (very loudly, in a scolding type manner) that the only way they could vaccinate him is if I held him. Her bedside manner could have been better especially given my cat's history. She was very loud and brash which freaked him out and he ultimately was not able to be vaccinated. I appreciate everything that All About Animals does for our community; however, I just wish in a situation like this they could have been more mindful. Also, had a cat neutered there a couple months ago and he returned with a nasty virus. One of my other cats caught it from him and had to take her to the ER ($400 ordeal). read more

The woman my husband spoke to on the phone today acted like she couldn't be bothered to take the time to answer a few questions (most of which he didn't get to ask, she was in such a hurry go get him off the phone) -- and that's on top of the nearly three-month waiting list to get a foster cat neutered so he can go to his forever home. This place was really out of my way, but they were one of VERY few places that would look at feral kittens that my partner and I recently caught in the backyard (with the condition that we socialize them first, enough so that they could be handled and attended to). Most places just say they won't work with ferals. We brought the kittens in to get some shots and tests. Everything went very smoothly. The vets were super friendly, very informative. Entertained a gagillion questions that we kept lobbing at them. And even kept their cool, patience, and sense of humor while one of our two ferals, having sprung out of the cage, eluded our grasp by bouncing between walls and scuttling across the floor at lightning speed, for a good 5 minutes. Thanks doc! Based on a lot of internet and phone research, their prices are about average, maybe a TAD below average. None of the discount or volunteer services would work with ferals. The humane society offers SUPER low-cost services for low-income households, but the ways they accept PROOF of low-income households is rather restrictive, and so we didn't qualify when I thought we should have. As a backup, All About Animals was as good as we could get, price-wise. We were only there for some very basic, routine matters, but despite that and because they worked with (just barely) socialized feral kittens, I'll give them a 5-star rec. read more

I brought my 9 month old female kitten here to get spayed. I was very nervous because I have read horror stories about low cost spay/neuter programs, but that was not the case here. This isn't a simple trap/fix/release program--it is much more of a low cost vet, and it sounds silly but they truly are all about animals. I brought my kitten in a carrier at 8am. I could have gotten there earlier to be farther up in line, but I only waited for about twenty minutes. You leave your cat against the wall in the carrier, and if you have a dog, you leave it in the car until they call your name. You check in and pay, 40 bucks for spay/neuter for a cat. They also have various vaccine packages for 15 dollars. Then you label your carrier and head out the door. You pick up your cat the next day at 7:15 am. This is what worried me. I did't like the idea of leaving my cat over night, because they probably didn't have anyone there over night to watch her. However, it really is best for the cat because they stay confined the first 24 hours so they dont rip out their stitches or anything and it helps with the healing as well. The cost included post op pain medication that lasts for 24 hours (along with pre surgery medicine and also general anesthesia for sugery), ensuring the cat is comfortable. I picked her up the next morning and everything went smoothly. The people there are all so kind. I also like that they encourage people to take tours of the facility--that shows they have nothing to hide. They follow specific standards for spaying/neutering-- ""The Association of Shelter Veterinarians veterinary medical care guidelines for spay-neuter programs" which is nationally recognized and endorsed by the ASPCA." Also, when they spay, they remove both the ovaries and the uterus. many low cost places only remove the ovaries. Her incision was very small and she is healing quickly. Absolutely five stars. read more

Spay/Neuter: $80 for all dogs and $40 for all cats. They don't pressure you into anything else! Very patient, friendly and efficient. Do NOT bring your animal inside. Go in, fill out the paperwork and pay. (Cash and Credit ONLY) Wait outside or in your car and they'll come out and call your pet. At first I thought, "what the heck???" But it's way better than sitting in a cramped waiting room with half a million dogs going nuts and the other half shaking in fear. It wasn't terribly slow ...they move along the best they can. I waited maybe a total of 35 minutes. Drop off at 8:00 and pick up at 5:00 the same day. They also offer vaccinations. Nice place and please: remember to spay or neuter your pets!! read more

Been going here for several years and made an appointment for today for my dog to get yearly shots. I waited 40 minutes in the parking lot as instructed and texted my info. NEVER heard back until 4:30pm. An HOUR later wanting my info etc. We LEFT. They used to have great service, not anymore. I'm NOT going back! My dog was bouncing off the seats. She a good lab but 40 minutes waiting? Come on. NO EXCUSE for that kind of service. Covid or not, that's no excuse. Will NEVER recommend them again. If I could give them ZERO rating, I would. Definitely finding another vet. And this from someone who did tell others about them and been a customer for at least 8 years! My advice is to stay away. They book too many animals and not enough people. Don't even have the courtesy to apologize for their lateness. Many other vets around that would like my business. read more

I just recently got my kitty fixed here and he came home with a huge abscess on his stomach. I took him into a different vet and the vet told me if I didn't bring him in when I did, he could have died. So a $40 surgery turned into $400 in other vet bills because they made a mistake and didn't own up to it. I called all about animals to express this to them to at least get my money back and I received no answer nor phone call back. They don't care about the animals like they say they do. I just had my Chihuahua's teeth cleaned for less than a THIRD of what was quoted by my last vet. The experience was great too-I hardly waited at all to drop her off and the joint is clean, festive, and bright. Most importantly, though-the staff was efficient, friendly, and CARING. The woman who took her back was so kind, it instantly quelled my "nervous mama" feelings when it came time to leave her. These folks also do a ton of other good works for the benefit of animals and I admire them greatly. The place was clean and the services rendered were good. They offer cheap spay/neuter services and micro hopping so well definitely come back. But the process was very long and awkward. We waited about 1.5 hours to get shots for our kitten. And we kept standing in lines that weren't lines but the staff wasn't telling anyone this. So many ppl seemed to be on their first visit and no one signed in (like we were supposed to) and we waited in a line to tell the receptionist what we needed as we all thought it was a check in line. And then waited for over 30 minutes in the "patient" room thinking we were forgotten. Then once done we waited in another line to pay only to find out we don't have to stand in line but rather take a seat and wait to be called up to pay. The weird thing was that although the support staff was "ok" they really didn't guide any of the clients. They just had us all doing things incorrectly to their system and then acted a bit annoyed that we weren't following the system. ???
