The main lawn area was closed off for a wedding starting at 4:30 PM, so we set up on the extended grass section to the left. We brought a mat to relax on and a deck of cards, which turned into some pretty competitive games of Speed. For food, we ordered 2 dozen oysters and a pepperoni pizza with added jalapeños. We specifically mentioned NO pineapple due to my partner's allergy. After finishing our oysters, our pizza was finally ready... and guess what? It had pineapple on it. Thankfully, we checked before taking it back to our area. The staff remade it correctly, and about 30 minutes later we got the jalapeño pizza we originally ordered. It was absolutely delicious! One more little hiccup: after opening my tab, the staff member forgot to return my ID. I didn't realize it until I was already back in Elk Grove, so I had to make the trip back to pick it up. Despite those mishaps, Viaggio is always a vibe. Great selection of wine, plenty of space to relax, and tons of cute photo opportunities. We'll definitely be back more often .. just like old times! Cheers!

Beautiful place, disappointing management. From the moment you walk in, the architecture and…read moreambiance make you feel like you've discovered a relaxing, upscale escape. Unfortunately, that feeling quickly changed when I witnessed security going through an older woman's purse to enforce the "no outside food" policy. It immediately created a sense of discomfort and changed the atmosphere from welcoming to uneasy. While waiting in line, I also overheard a customer frustrated about being double charged, and staff mentioned there was no manager available on-site to help resolve the issue. The gentleman assisting me came across as dismissive, answered personal phone calls while serving customers, and made the experience feel inattentive rather than hospitable. The pizza was delicious, although the wine was underwhelming for a winery experience. Overall, this place has beautiful potential, but the customer service and management experience did not match the atmosphere the venue presents.

Such a beautiful venue for weddings. This review is based on being an invited guest to a wedding…read morethat took place here, April 25th. The grounds are just sooo beautiful especially when their roses are in bloom. The ceremony area has two areas. One area faces the water and the other is more of a greenery view which both are just wonderful, you don't have to worry about the sun being in your eyes. The bar and buffet were placed right outside the reception area which was kinda nice so the long lines doesn't get in the way of the tables and dance floor. Loved the large glass chandeliers and draped curtain/tent vibes. Food was sooo good. I heard they made their food at the location so it nice and fresh. Tri tip, salmon mash potatoes and gravy with green beans, feta apple spinach salad and bread with butter was the menu. Drinks were white and red wine, beer and cocktail of choice was a berry sangria which was my favorite.

A Dream Venue for Vendors and Guests!…read more I had the pleasure of being a dessert vendor for a weekend wedding at Lakeview Estates & Winery and I also attended the event as a guest. From both perspectives, I can honestly say this venue is exceptional. As a vendor, I felt incredibly supported. The staff was kind, helpful, and extremely accommodating - offering clear direction, checking in throughout the day, and making sure I had everything I needed to set up and serve with ease. It's rare to work with a venue that treats vendors like valued collaborators, but Lakeview truly did. As a guest, I got to see another level of excellence. The entire event ran seamlessly. Last-minute changes (like additions to bar and food service) were handled quickly and without a hitch. The staff was attentive, well-coordinated, and clearly experienced at handling all the behind-the-scenes details that make a celebration flow beautifully. Special shout-out to Melanie, who was nothing short of phenomenal. Her coordination of extra services and flexibility made the whole day feel effortless for everyone involved. The venue itself is stunning, but it's the people who make it unforgettable. I would absolutely recommend Lakeview Estates & Winery to anyone planning an event - whether you're booking, attending, or working it!

Couple others ordered the Cubano and said they enjoyed it. Service was attentive and quick. One odd moment occurred... me, my wife and her aunt arrived before others and ordered a cappuccino each. It came in a large glass mug. After the other 5 showed up they also ordered coffee but they received it in to go cups. When we asked why they said they ran out of clean coffee cups.... The views are spectacular and we sat outside. Definitely someplace to try again next time with a glass of wine.

There's a counter area where you can order coffee, pastries, breakfast items, or food to-go, while the left side has a hostess stand if you'd prefer full table service inside or on the patio. The brunch menu was a bit limited, and I ended up ordering the croissant sandwich. The croissant itself was soft and fresh, but overall the sandwich left me wanting a little more flavor. It was on the smaller side, didn't have much bacon, and even with the preserved tomato aioli it felt a bit underwhelming. The breakfast potatoes also weren't really my favorite. They were small whole potatoes with the skins on and heavily seasoned with cayenne pepper. Personally, I would've liked another side option such as fresh fruit. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. For two croissant sandwiches, two iced teas, and a side of fries, the total came to around $70 with tip, which felt a little pricey for the overall experience. The property itself is beautiful. It looks like they host live music and events in the outdoor quad area, and I noticed they also offer wood-fired pizza after 11 AM, which honestly sounds worth coming back to try. Overall, I have mixed feelings as the atmosphere and service were great, but the food didn't quite live up to expectations for me personally.

The setting is perfect for any delicious plate ordered. We were a party of four. All plates were delicious with exceptional and noteworthy comments made for the salmon and the half order seafood plate. (I had this) Everything on my plate was delicate, fresh and savory! To compliment all of this the SERVICE was top tier and utterly refined. From the valet to every facet of the waitstaff we were well taken care of. Our gentlemen server was very polite and accommodating to us as this was our first time in such a place! I intended to try and "new thing" and ordered the caviar and roasted peach plate. So delicious! The sweet and savory combination was a hit and really made that first experience exceptional.

There was nothing that made any dish stand out. We ordered the gnocchi appetizer and scallop appetizer. The scallops barely had any sear and zero flavor to them. When we received our bread we asked for butter and was told it was already on the bread and not provided any. Why have a butter knife at our setting then? Other tables had butter to complement their bread. We ordered the ribeye and fish as our main courses. The fish was cooked perfectly, but again lacked any flavoring or anything to make it special that we would want to return. Overall for the price we paid, I don't feel that we would be return customers.

There were quite a bit of major things that didn't go as planned. I understand that nothing is…read moregoing to be perfect, but I believe that the things that didn't go as planned were avoidable. For example, Meat bees (we should have had been pre-warned about the bees. We would have opted to have the reception inside had we been made aware). Many guest told us that they couldn't even enjoy the food because their plates were swarmed and they were afraid to sit outside due to the fear of being stung. *Although most of the guest were shuttled from the barn to the home and greatly appreciated, my 90 year old blind grandmother had to walk up the dirt hill to the ceremony after my mom was guaranteed/approved that she would be "golf carted" up to the top of the hill by staff. I was told she was very terrified. *Guest were allowed to wonder around in the backyard before the start of the wedding and a few of them were able to see me through the master bedroom windows. I thought the back of the house would have been sectioned off to prevent me from being seen. *There was a visible trash can next to the table and entrance of the barn where guest walked in. Unfortunately, the trash can will be captured in my pictures. I thought the trash can would not be right next to the entrance. *I spent hundreds of dollars on candles and they were not set out at dinner nor at the walk up/stairs entrance to the wedding ceremony. (Candles were the theme of my wedding). I thought I made that super clear that that was what I wanted. * I bought a ton of plastic silverware to be placed next to the cake for the guests. My sister had to ask a staff member for forks. The staff responded to my sisters question by stating that the guest were told to keep the same fork they had for dinner for the cake, which was unacceptable. *No prior notification of when the house workers/staff would enter the home. There were a few occasions when Shana entered the home without announcing herself and she was in the laundry room standing quietly. She stated that she was doing laundry but when I looked in the washer and dryer, there was no laundry in either machine. This was early in the morning so most of my guests were still in bed and the laundry had been done the night before by Anna. We were uncomfortable and unsure as to why she was just standing in the laundry room. Also, the morning of checkout, someone even took the bedsheets off the bed when I went back to the master bedroom to lay down for a moment. This was approximately 2-3 hours before check out. I was hoping to relax for the last couple of hours before we vacated the premises but was unable to. Ultimately I don't think the quality of service measured up anywhere near the amount of money we spent of this venue that didn't include any decorations. We were aware nothing was included but with the cost alone we expected we'd have more prepared staff. Me and my family which included more than 10 people helped set up night before and day of wedding up until we literally had to walk down the aisle. I thought BOMV staff would be more prepared as they do weddings weekly. Remember no plates, silverware, or napkins for guest. PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION. Your wedding is so much more than a pretty view. All photos attached are decor I or my family bought and own. Not one decoration will be provided by venue.
