My friends and I came here on a Saturday afternoon, it was nice and empty. Service was great. We walked around the winery and explored their set up. I love that they had a lot of different props for pics, including a truck, a swing, and beautiful stairways. The wine wasn't just dry red wine, but they also had wine slushes for the younger generation. Their pizza and cheese sticks were pretty good for the price. Had lots of flavor and fed all 3 of us. I would love to come back for their live music during the weekend

I found this place through a map for the different Lodi Wineries after visiting another winery before coming here. I was excited because the photos looked gorgeous! The place was extremely aesthetic but customer service was alright. The lady taking my order was rushing and I had ordered garlic fries but she punched in the order as garlic bread which was 3x the price then rushed off. I had to ask the owner/manager + another worker to get my receipt because I believed the charge was wrong. The lady was kind about it and promptly fixed the charge and had to redo my order. There was a sign that gave us a free flight of wine for posting on IG. That's what I did and the flight was not that great. The wine tasted very cheap and the quality was lacking. I'm glad it was free. We also ordered the garlic fries and those weren't so bad. The fries were probably the best part of the day!

I visited Viaggio with my husband for a family engagement party. It is such a gorgeous venue for an engagement party. They offered tons of wines and pizzas. We got a beautiful sparkling wine, peach mango sparkling wine, and a fresh Pinot to drink with our pizza. I thought everything was delicious. My favorite was the peach mango sparkling wine for sure. The ambiance is beautiful just elegant with excellent staff to serve you. They were out of oysters which was such a bummer, but just means we will have to come back for some!

Went on a Saturday, it was really busy so the food took a long while. Which was totally ok with me with the amount of people there was it was going to be a wait but it was only 2 ppl in the kitchen/pizza area. There is ample seating, there was a live band. It seems like there has been a price increase

I finally got to visit Viaggio after hearing about it for over two years. Haha. I am newer to the Lodi area, and had often heard people raving about Viaggio, yet I never gave them a try. Well I finally made it in and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Viaggio has one of the nicest tasting rooms and outdoor areas when compared to other local wineries. We did a tasting out on the patio and had a wonderful time. The wine is really good too. Im honestly surprised Viaggio doesn't have a better average rating. I will definitely visit again, and recommend them to others. Cheers!

Our driver recommended their kitchen and wine pairings, so we said, what the heck and let him bring us here. It was beautiful and because it was getting later it wasn't packed in like other wineries we previously visited. We approached the bar and tasting area and happy that Jenn took care of us. She was warm and welcoming and explained to us they pour all their tastings in a shot tray so they can serve more guests when they're busy and we are able to take it anywhere on property. Since it started raining, we really didn't get a sunset, but their patio was beautiful enough. Both Jen and her coworker got the fire pit going for us and a two heaters around us outside. We enjoyed our tasting and our veggie pizza and panini. If you come here, do order pizza. We placed another order to-go so we didn't have to go downtown for a later dinner if we got hungry. We wanted to have our driver take us back to our room and let him go home for the night. I found some fun gifts to bring back home. All in all was a nice ending to fun wine date with my love. Thank you Jen and Viaggio staff for your hospitality. We hope to visit again next time we're in Lodi.

Was curious about this spot as it popped up on the map heading home. Walking from the parking lot, it was hard to find the actual tasting room. My friend and I accidentally ended up crashing someone's wedding. Maybe better signage would help? The tasting room is quite large and reminded me of a Mexican restaurant. Dark wood abounds and there are tables to sit. I ordered a tasting, I can't recall the price but it was less than $20. Honestly, I did not care for the wines. The garden themed outdoor seating area is very pleasant, much more ambiance than indoors. We ended up ordering their brick oven pizza which thankfully was much better than the wine.

Well, when I got here before my family arrived, I received really bad service from the guy who I heard later may be a partial owner. He was not knowledgeable on wine and treated me like I didn't know wine as well. When I walked up to order, he walked away. When I asked for recommendations or advice on how to drink the flight, he said "however you want" which is very different than how I experienced wineries in the past. When my family arrived and I asked questions, he ignored me. I eventually asked to only speak with the woman who was also behind the counter because she actually knew wine and was more personable. Overall the winery is aesthetic and eventually they did service my large family but it was a rough start. I also was able to get access to the fire pit after it was raining so I appreciated that too, otherwise I'd give 1 star.

This was where my table located and everything was beautifully organized and laid out.

I had a small gathering after my civil ceremony here and everything was great! Fahad helped us plan from day 1 and was there throughout the event to make sure we were taken care of. If anyone is planning on having a small gathering of any sort they were so welcoming and when I arrived to see the set up it was beautiful. Thank you for making my day so special!!

Came in on Thanksgiving! First time ever! The grounds were beautiful even with the dark clouds and fog. It was beautifully decorated with Christmas decor inside and out! There were 2 other couples here enjoying the holidays as well. The food delicious and so was their wines. We understand that it was a holiday; however, it would have been nice if someone spoke to us about the flight of wines we were tasting. Also, it was a bit different seeing the wine in plastic cups. We'll definitely return to get a better experience.

Viaggio Winery, nestled in the heart of Lodi wine country is distinguished by its vast vineyard, which runs along the pristine Mokelumne River. Our decision to celebrate New Year's at Viaggio proved to be a huge success because the experience/service that we received was exceptional. As members, we appreciated the discounted ticket rates of $115 per person, which included unlimited food (steak, chicken, pasta, salad, and hord'oeuvres), unlimited drinks (beer, wine, and premium hard liquor), 360 Photo Booth, regular Photo Booth, and many more attractions. The staff service was superb, specifically, Fahad, who went over and beyond to accommodate our group and provided excellent hospitality. We had a last minute request, which was handled flawlessly by him. There was absolutely no issue that was not addressed timely including satisfactory results. The check-in time for the event was at 6 PM, and the cocktail hour commenced promptly at 7 PM followed by dinner at 8 PM. The food and beverage quality and presentation were outstanding. The banquet staff was extremely attentive to every detail and very professional. The bartender was fast and extremely courteous. I was merrily impressed by the hard liquor selection, including Grey Goose, Glenfiddich, Patron Silver, and Jameson. They even served Modelo and 805 Beer . Overall the event went great and everyone's palette was satisfied with the AMAZING food and premium cocktails. After dinner, we were intrigued by an unexpected performance. The event had a fantastic surprise element with a belly dancer that had everyone captivated and added greatly to the entertainment. The 360 Photo Booth was another successful attraction of the event; even the gentleman was having fun with it. Let's not forget the DJ, who absolutely killed it. The vibe was immaculate, all thanks to the DJ's selection from start to finish. The dance floor was packed all night. Last but not least, a noteworthy recognition goes to Fahad, who was attention to detail, extremely professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to his guests. The event couldn't have been so successful and elegant without the attention to detail. Keep up the great work. Keep doing this and you've made a customer for life.

When we drove up to their site, I wasn't really sure where it was located as the existing buildings looked like old industrial buildings, not your standard winery and tasting room. My partner and I guessed it had been a granary--it was built in 1868 right next to the raIlroad tracks, and was later converted into a winery in the early 1900s. Back then that initial winery became famous for their Port, and also made vinegar and brandy. We sat at the tables outside. I asked the server if anyone was living in the tall granary tower because we had noticed that the windows looked like they were fitted with stained glass. She answered with a chuckle, that only ghosts live there. Dancing Coyote has an interesting history. It is family run, and they have been farming the Delta region for five generations. They grow and harvest the grapes. They also do the crushing, aging and handcrafting the final product. The winemaker uses natural wild yeast that derives from the surfaces of the grapes to actually ferment the products on the flight that we tasted - they were really good and yummy on their own natural merits with a bright finish. Of course, I had to run around and experience this winery's own unique brand with my own eyes and camera in hand. There were several fig trees in which I found a perfectly ripe fig to eat. There was was this orange stuff "growing" on some of the outside walls that I had to touch, and then scratch my head because I couldn't figure out what it was. Near the fig trees, hidden from the eyes of most.of the two-leggeds that visit the winery, is a diagram painted on a rather large propane tank. Who painted it? Was it a human that "dances with coyotes"? I tried and tried to duplicate the dance that the artist painted on the tank. The trickster that painted that mural is probably laughing at the thought of people trying to follow the dance diagram. Their flights were FREE!!! There were four different wines included: 3 whites and 1 red. I usually prefer drinking red over white, however, there was something uncommon with their white wines--a certain kind of freshness/aliveness. I really liked how it felt in my mouth. After tasting those wines she brought three more wines for us to taste. We fell in love with their 2016 Loureiro - a Portuguese varietal. They had a special for $48 for a case, and we snatched it up in a heartbeat. We plan to return in our next visit to the Lodi wine making region to the same place, and see what other new vinicultural gifts that they have to offer us.

I had driven by many times and it seemed like an appointment only place but I guess now they have enough staffing to open up the hours and days of the week. First, their reputation has always been very good. They've had some recognition from some reputable wine sources so I had very high expectations for the wine. In, short, the wines were very good. They had a nice selection from rose to the more Lodi styled red wines. I really did enjoy all the wines and the price point seems fair. I guess I was kinda hoping to meet the winemaker, learn more about their vineyards and purpose for growing certain varietals. When you get wine with a story it makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I really like this place and I'm hoping to make a stronger connection with the business since I consider myself an advocate for Lodi wines since my hobby is to compare our wines with the best out in the other regions of CA. Pretty heavy competition but so far Lodi is more than able to compete with certain types of wines aka Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Syrah and occasionally Cabernet.

One of the workers walked past our table and flagged down another worker to let her know that we had outside food. The other worker came over to our table to tell us they don't allow outside food. We literally had fruit and veggies for our children. I was already turned off that one worker told another worker about our outside food... As if she couldn't tell us herself. I do want to note that we purchased a charcuterie board, two pizzas and two bottles of wine from them. Then about two hours later, a worker who normally works in the kitchen with short hair... Female... Came out and told my son that he needed to stop folding the chairs down. I've attached the photos so you could see what the chairs looked like at the table. My son put them all down. She literally made my son flip all the chairs back. There was no sign on this table, stating it was reserved... There was no sign on this table stating not to touch it... It was literally an open table for guest. These chairs were like this (see photo) when we arrived at 1:30pm and they were like this until 4 PM when we left. This alone left a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel like this place that used to be kid friendly is not so kid friendly anymore. I literally felt like she could have flipped the chairs back when we left, but the fact that she came and approached my seven-year-old son and told him he needed to flip them back left a horrible taste in my mouth. At the time it was an intimate tasting room with a pretty entry area. (She said they do still sell the bread but only generally more around the holidays and that it disappears quick!) I'll have to keep checking in because I remember loving it. Now revisiting probably 8yrs later I'm seeing the beautiful space that either somehow went unnoticed or just wasn't part of the entry point my first time in. (During my time here I learned that the spaces mentioned didn't exist the last time I made my way here (2017/2018ish). The grounds here are beautiful and absolutely somewhere I could bring my work or a book and just relax with a glass of wine, simultaneously taking in the views. The $15 fee (which is incredibly reasonable for what you see nowadays!) included 6 Portuguese style wines to sample. The Vino Cor de Rosa was a bit on the sweeter side for my liking. The Verdelho had a citrus/fruit note that I enjoyed with a green apple like finish. The Touriga was one I'd keep stocked. It had the nice dark fruit feel that I very much enjoy in a red. The type you want to keep flowing with a pasta (or even a hearty meat craving if you ask me!) The Souzao I'm not quite sure how to explain. Continuing my "Basic B" level of descriptions, it has almost a cola or Dr. Pepper taste to it (in a good way despite how odd my choice of description may seem!) The Syrah to me reads like a lighter port, though u can't quite pinpoint what brings me to that conclusion. Lastly, the Trincadeira was a nice seemingly light red that I wouldn't mind on the balcony with my book. It amazes me that with the grounds they have, they don't host much in the way of winery events (though they do host many private events). I can appreciate that it isn't the direction they're looking to go... but perhaps some day!
