I want to say, he came the next day to check it out when we weren't home, which was very convenient. He left a quote for us on an invoice in our mailbox and the price was just right! It was reasonably cheaper than a quote we had gotten elsewhere prior. Within the week, they came back to do the job and our garage hasn't flooded since (and there have been some very hard downpours to gauge it). I specifically instructed technician to remove my gutter guards and set them aside next to the house because he said they didn't have time to reinstall them. I never authorized anyone to take them off my property. When I got home, every gutter guard was gone. The company initially told me there was "nothing they could do" and falsely claimed that my wife and I had approved their removal and disposal. Only after I pushed back did they admit their technician still had them. What followed were multiple broken promises and three failed attempts to return my property, including sending a technician out who performed another gutter cleaning instead of returning the guards. When the gutter guards were finally returned, they were damaged and unusable. Replacing and reinstalling them will cost approximately $2,000-$3,000. To make matters worse, I specifically instructed the company to clean the downspouts as part of the service. After the first significant rainstorm, the downspouts backed up all the way through the drains and overflowed, showing the drainage system was not functioning properly after the work they performed. After paying over $1,600 for professional gutter cleaning, I expected the gutters and downspouts to drain properly--not back up during the first storm. I had to go out multiple times to tap out all the debris from the downspouts. As if that wasn't enough, the company later recharged my credit card for the same $430 partial refund they had already issued. I never authorized this new charge. I have reported it to my credit card company as part of my ongoing dispute. This is now the third time I've used Spotless Gutters, and I deeply regret ever trusting them again. Between removing my property without permission, making false claims about authorization, damaging my gutter guards, repeatedly failing to keep their promises, leaving my drainage system backed up, and attempting to take back a refund by charging my card again, this has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had. We initially began getting quotes for a new roof back in July and it took Al nearly a month to give me an initial quote. I should have moved on to the next contractor back then! Our roof was badly leaking so we were seeking out an emergency loan through the state to get it done ASAP. After going back and forth with Albana Roofing and our financing provider basically all summer, things were finally approved in the last week of August, and we signed a contract with Albana Roofing stating that work would begin by 9/20 and commence by 9/24, weather permitting. All of September was beautiful, so that wasn't the reason why the work didn't get done. I found myself in the beginning of October, still waiting on these roofers! I'm assuming they had bigger jobs that took priority because they were making more money. We had to pull our financing (though we have other means to pay for the job), and Al called me wanting to know what was going on. He informed me that I put them in a bad place because they "already ordered materials" which is something that he had been telling me, and my husband, since before we even signed a contract with them! I told him that I was going to talk to our financing provider and that if it came down to it, I could probably just give him a credit card number. He told me that he would talk to his brother and get back to me later than night via e-mail. I never heard back. Since then, I sent Al two e-mail just wanting to know what was going on. Sonny, who attended our Board Meeting, answered questions, provided samples, and gave financing options. He is an exemplary professional. Sonny's highest priority is making everyone happy. Work was timed according to everyone's schedules. The grounds were also kept safe and orderly. When the project was finished, it was done in a timely fashion, conformed to code, and looked wonderful. A few months after the work was done, a freak wind gust exceeded the 130mph rating on the shingles. Albana was back on the job and repaired the damage. Based on all of the above, Albana was a dream to work with. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Once he arrived I understand that even though I have 44 windows that are at minimum 6 over 6 if not 9 over 9 he was here less than 90 minutes.. When I arrived home The first Windows I saw were ones that a great evening sunset was beaming through. Unfortunatly the only thing I noticed was that every corner of the 9 over 9 Windows were dirty. On top of that the screens were filthy and the sills still had an inch of dirt on them. In bobs defense I need to mention that a. The windows were very dirty. B.
