Back then he was a 3-bay garage. Now he has 2 buildings and 12 bays (I may be slightly off on the numbers). He is doing something right. Jason is honest. He will not upsell you on stuff but he will advise against buying the cheap stuff. There have been a few times I choose to go cheaper since I was not planning on keeping the car (Infinit I30) for much longer... and he did it. Since he is mostly concerned about safety, you may bring it there for new shocks only to have him say: "I would change the brake pads 1st. The bumpy ride will not kill you." I do not question Jason. This is gonna be long but tldr: they are amazing and its been such a long time since I've found a car place that doesn't treat me like I'm stupid. My car has had this weird AC issue for 3 years and I've been quite ridic prices and guesses by a number of places all going they've never heard of it. I found these guys thru a recommendation on nextdoor and I'm so happy I went with them. First call, I explained the issue and the technician immediately knew it could be a couple of things and had heard of it. I asked for transparent pricing, and they got my car in. They went above and beyond to test my car to reproduce the issue and saved me 1000s. They also did addtl things to help me in case something leaks we can identify what and where. I will be going to them from now on for anything I need. If you're a woman, I especially recommend as they will explain everything and get permission before doing anything so there are no surprise costs. read more

AVOID! Mediocre service; and a waste of $$$ Today, June 4,2024, again I returned to "fix" the same issue with the AC (charging me $324 on top of what they already charged for the work that was never done right and after repeated "repairs" - initially they installed a new compressor and refrigerant (which now I am doubting that it was really necessary) but the AC was still not functioning properly...blowing hot air. The first time and second time I reported the problem, I was told the technicians didn't put the right ratio of refrigerant and oil mixture; then the same thing happened again and again... the last time I returned I was told that I have to wait until summer when it's hot outside so they can "fix" the problem!? That seemed strange but I did what they said and today (June 4th a hot Summer day at 95 degrees weather forecast, I have returned. They called 3 hours after I dropped off the car at their shop to inform me that they "discovered a leak" and needed o-rings at a cost of $324 to repair. It's apparent that they never did a competent job when they replaced the compressor the first time. The first time I went there was June 2023 and today is June 2024. The AC was not functioning properly since this issue happened (since it was not needed in the cooler weather days, I didn't have an urgent need for it and was never turned on. But now it is summer and Texas summers are brutal and air conditioning is not a luxury but vital necessity.) Mediocre service AC: returned 5-6 times already (Uber+stay)ea time read more

Although my make of car is not something that he typically works on, he was willing to walk me through what might be the problems. Once identified he told me that even though my model is not one that he works on that he felt like this is something that he could fix for me. I heard Jason and moved to All About Imports in Denton, so when my '99 Mitsubishi Eclipse needed a timing belt, water pump, window regulator and other repairs, I took it straight to Jason and his team of excellent mechanics. VERY reasonable and fair pricing - especially considering that the work is top-shelf and done right the first time. My repairs were done in 2015 - my Mits still runs perfectly. Let me just preface this by saying that All About Imports closes at 6pm. I was driving home and half way through my commute, my 08 civic just stopped blowing cold air, only hot. I started freaking out because the next day (today), I'm planning on driving to San Antonio, DEFINITELY not a fun drive with no air conditioning. I called at 5pm (!) and he said he was really booked, and he's overbooked the next day. But then he asked what was wrong; I explained my situation and he said "You know what, go ahead and bring it over, I'll look at it in the parking lot if I need to." This in and of itself is really great, I was really happy he'd at least look at it, but what made it even better, was that within 20 minutes of parking, he looked at it AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. 20 MINUTES. He was so nice about it too. I couldn't ask for better service. The whole thing ended up costing just $95. I was expecting a lot more considering how expensive air conditioning problems could be. I can't believe it took me this long to write a review. I've been going to Jason for about 1.5 - 2 years. I'm a college student and know little about cars, but Jason has become my car magician. I took my 4runner to him for every little thing, and Jason always took care of the car quickly and always fairly. If you know you need some repairs done on your vehicle or just want a second opinion, I recommend you call Jason today. My most recent visit with Jason is an example of his service excellence. After getting new tires at a prominent national tire and service chain about a month ago, they informed me that I would need new brakes on all four wheels along with new rotors. I thanked them for the information and went on my way. After a second opinion from Jason, I learned that I did indeed need new rear brakes very soon, that my front brakes are good for another 10-15k miles, And that my rotors are in tip-top shape and do not need to be replaced. He knocked the rear brakes out in under 20 minutes and I was back on the road - safer and happier than when I arrived. After coming back in 10k miles to replace the front brakes, Jason will have saved me between $250-$300 in unnecessary charges that the other place told me that I absolutely needed that day. Jason is amazing. I am always looking for people to recommend him to because of how much I have enjoyed his service. I have 2 Honda's, and usually try to do basic maintenance with both cars, like oil changes and fluid changes, but I started working too much to be able to handle it, so I found All About Imports and was very relieved and impressed with his professionalism, his friendliness, his knowledge and skill at repairing the cars and above all else, the extra little things he did for no charge, like snapping my bumper back in place just because he noticed it was messed up...and this was not the only time he did something nice and little like that for no charge, but he does it just because he goes above and beyond to please.
