I've shopped at almost every boutique around the Chicagoland area and none compare to the service that Eman has given. I've been shopping here for the past 4 years and each time, she goes above and beyond. I am never pressured into purchasing a dress and she always gives me her honest opinion. Not only that, when I procrastinate and need a dress in less than a week, she makes it happen! My most recent experience blew me away, I needed a dress in 8 days and Eman helped me make my choice, called the vendor multiple times to obtain details on the dress, somehow managed to get them to add additional length on the dress, in the color I wanted AND it arrived within 4 business days!! She kept me up to date on the status of the order. When the dress came in, she called multiple seamstresses to make sure I can alter my dress and have it ready in 1 day. If this isn't going ABOVE AND BEYOND for a customer, then I don't know what is. Elegant Couture treats you like family and not just a customer purchasing a dress. I am forever grateful to Eman and the team at Elegant Couture!

When we arrived, the only person in the store at that moment was busy with three women at the counter. She saw us walk in, but didn't acknowledge us, not even a simple "I'll be with you in a moment" or "Please give me a few minutes." We overlooked this because she was the only one working, and we understood she was attending to customers. However, what followed was humiliating. About five minutes later, the women she was helping left, and instead of addressing us, she chose to ignore us, arrange things on the counter, and then head to the back of the store without saying a single word. No "Excuse me" or "I'll be right with you." It felt like she thought that if she ignored us, we would just leave. Since we stayed because we wanted to see dresses, another five minutes passed before my sister had to go find her in the back. When she finally came out, instead of apologizing, she gave us attitude, and the very first thing she asked before even offering any help was, "What's your budget? So I can see if I have something," in an arrogant and dismissive tone. To this day, I don't understand why she was bothered by our presence or why she treated us that way. The moral of the story: give your business to those who treat you well. We ended up buying the dress at Peaches. I had to drive to the city, but the service we received there was outstanding--and, ironically, we were helped by young ladies, not by a woman over 40 who should know better. If I could give this place negative five stars, I would. My intention was to support a local business, but in the end, driving farther to the city was absolutely worth it for the professionalism and respect we received elsewhere.

His warm, caring and sincere attention to my needs reminded me of growing up when shoe store staff took time to find the right shoes and one felt confident in the shoe(s) and purchase. I have had nothing but problems with this company! I got hired at a local hospital that has their…read moreemployees use this company to order and embroider their scrubs. I TRIED placing an order back at the end of March before I was even working and when I first attempted to order, the website allowed me to create an account, select scrubs, enter in my card information BUT when I clicked submit order I got an error message saying error something went wrong. I tried again at the end of the day and same thing. My first day comes and I have no official scrubs to wear to work. I tried ordering again and same error message. I decided to order through Cintas (wonderful experience with them), seeing as I had no uniform to wear to work, and needed them fast. A few weeks go by and I get a phone call that one out of my three orders from La Bella Uniforms is ready!?! I immediately call the store and was directed to the manager. I explained that on three separate occasions I tried placing an order, all of them giving me an error code so I was under the assumption my orders where never placed!?! I was told that despite the error message (which is their fault), I am still responsible for the scrubs as there are no returns. I asked why I was being forced to buy scrubs I was led to believe I never ordered and all I was told is there are no refunds. I asked why I never received a confirmation email that these orders did actually get placed and was told they don't send confirmation emails. So you will allow me to create an account with my email but you can't send me a confirmation email with my information that you already have. This is literally the only thing online that I have ever purchased that I couldn't or didn't receive a confirmation email for!? In today's world of online ordering, it's just ridiculous!! My nightmare doesn't end there. It's now almost two months later and my other two orders that I never knew I placed, are still pending!?! I again don't get updated emails but I have to log into my account at work to see it's not even completed. I have been working two months, spent over $200 unnecessary on their scrubs I can't return and I don't even have them to wear! This is absolutely ridiculous!?! I will never ever ever order another thing from this company!? They have been nothing but a headache to me and I will gladly take my business to Cintas who provided efficient service with updated emails all along the way. Please spend your money elsewhere. This place has done nothing to keep my business.
