Caroline Kennedy was the Sales Person Extraordinaire! Her service was the most professional. We were not exactly sure of what we wanted. She was very patient with us. We did not feel rushed. She made us feel like we were a part of her family. Mr. KLUGER, as busy as he were, took time out to make us feel extra special. He personally did the measurements to insure that coats would be a perfect fit. In the end we purchased three different coats. We were given a price that was unbeatable! I decided to stop by today to look at options for a full length shearling. I was in there for about 20 minutes. Not one person said one word to me. I saw several sales people look directly at me - then look away. Finally, one sales person said "Hello", but that was it. No "Can I assist you", "Is someone helping you", "Would like to try on anything". Unbelievable. I was ready to make a purchase. Clearly they didn't think I was worthy. I walked out. Just wanted to post about the rude and unprofessional service I received at Kluger Furs in Flosmoor recently. I left a vintage garment for repair. When I picked up the fur jacket, I noticed some of the repairs I requested had not been completed. They said the work was not completed because of the age of the jacket. I asked why then was I not called and informed that the repairs were not going to be completed, and the staff person just huffed and said it's beyond repair. My issues: 1. When I left the jacket for repair they inspected it and never mentioned that "it was beyond repair". 2. They did clean the jacket and repaired the buttons, but did not complete the lining repairs. 3. They never called to inform or update me (the customer) on their professional assessment. I had to figure it out when I inspected the garment at the register. Unacceptable. 4. In short, I will not be giving my business to this establishment anymore. Chef Ken *Update* After this review was posted I received a response from the owner on another social media platform. I ran in last minute shortly before closing and met Caroline. She worked really hard to help me find my mother a birthday gift. I never felt rushed at all. My mother loved it but unfortunately it was the wrong size. I brought my mother back and Caroline was so patient kind and understanding with my mother who is elderly. Anything my mother wanted or needed she was quick to assist. The coat didn't have any external pockets...no problem we can add one. In the end my mother was glowing with happiness. I found KF on Yelp. The positive reviews is what inclined me to pay them a visit today. I had my fur coat for about 15 or 16 years. The owner accepted it as a trade-in & I was able to find another one!!!! I was also able to put it in lay-a-way and I'll have that beauty in less than 2 months!! DO NOT BUY OR SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. PERIOD. My Sister-In-Law no more than 3 weeks ago purchased Furs from them. I'm not talking Small monies. The first incident involved having her buy a hood for the one of the Mink Coat. The sale personnel said the hood was separate. Huh ? If this was so, why wasn't said in the beginning . The sale associate didn't mention it until my Sister-In-Law said she was buying the coat. I feel like that's a hidden agenda game. She was told the hood was an additional price. She payed. On that day ,she also made additional purchases. When she called me and told me the situation, I SNAPPED. I told her it was some BS. When she went back to Kluger she told them she didn't want the Hood. They then stated that they don't do refunds. But finally gave a $500.credit for the Mink Hood. Which wasn't really anything, considering she had to put her own additional $500 dollars to find something to her likening .She left her purchases there to have the Full-length Minks Coats monogramed. When went back to pick up everything the Minks were in a PLASTIC BAG. WTF. When she asked for a Cloth bag, they stated it coats $15.00. And they don't do FREE storage. So after spending THOUNDS OF DOLLARS you get a 7cent bag. Who does THAT ? And to think I was going to buy a Mink Jacket from them. I should have of known Better. I'm a Loyal Patron of Andriana Furs. Starting with my aunt, and a slew of other Family members and Friends. Is this their practice of trying to swindle Senior Women of Color. I just want to know. Church Lady talk: "As for me and my Pocketbook, I'm gonna stay and stand by my Andriana Furs @ 2201 W. 95th. Let the Church say "Amen ,Amen". I recently purchased two furs from Kluger's. Fortunately, the owner saw me looking at furs and came over to assist. He provided recommendations, brought over some furs I hadn't considered, and was absolutely great. He didn't seem to make any assumptions (which is really good since I've been to certain places that assume I'm not actually going to make a purchase) and was extra helpful. Impressive for the owner to have several staff present, but notice that I wasn't being assisted by any of them and simply jump right in. He also took my measurements, payment, etc. So really he was able to do all the roles within his company (very different from owners who can't do anything except manage others). As this was my first time purchasing furs - it was really nice to have an expert on hand. He was kind, took great initiative, and was quite informative. While I purchased two new furs, I really like that they had a nice selection of used furs that looked new as well. They indicated that one fur would take a week to for my name to be inscribed, but it was ready two days later. The prices appear pretty reasonable, as I tried Adriana Furs last year and their furs were much more expensive. I also understand they have layaway, a really nice option to have available. read more

From the big selections of new and previous loved furs to the storage for the summer time it is a great store. The store is in a great location and the staff is very wonderful.
