All About Plumbing was recommended to me by the company which did foundation work on my house. It was suggested that I get a hydrostatic test done to ensure there was no damage to my plumbing as a result of the foundation work. Based on the recommendation I did not do any research on other companies. My mistake, All About Plumbing charged me $725 for the test, which they said showed a slow leak. However, they could not tell me where the leak was and suggested I contact American Leak Detection, an expert in leak detection. American Leak charged me $350 for the exact same test, nearly half the price of All About Plumbing, and their testing showed no leak. American Leak uses a more thorough and accurate testing method. All About Plumbing looked for the leak with a camera which they said was above and beyond what was required to complete the hydrostatic test, but there was no leak to be found. I can't say if they are good plumbers in areas other than leak detection, they may be, I can say with complete certainty they are overly expensive plumbers and I would not use them again. read more

I called All About Plumbing to set up an appointment to have them. Come look at some toilet issues that we were having with flushing upstairs and my daughters room. The experience from start to finish was outstanding. The scheduler was super efficient and accommodating to when we would be home for the technician to come out. The technician called 30 minutes before arriving to let us know that he was on his way. or two gentlemen that came in both were booties on their feet and were extremely professional. Clearly knowledgeable about what they were doing. He talked me through the different styles of toilets as well as the different common issues that they see. Jeremy was a technicians name and I can't say enough about him he spend extra time talking to me about AC discharge, and other things that we commonly have in Texas. They cleared the toilet replaced the apparatus and everything was perfect again. Even made some recommendations about the AC discharge stuff and showed me this both the materials and the vacuum/blower that he uses. We noticed a pipe dripping water near our roof and from some investigation determined it was the overflow for our air conditioner. I then saw the pan under the unit was full of water, and my basic troubleshooting of blowing air in the pipe did nothing but shoot some water out in another place in my attic (which fortunately dried quickly since it was so hot!) Anyways, I decided to try a plumber instead of an AC company, and boy am I happy I did! A few years ago when this line got clogged the AC company just cut the PVC tube under the sink, used a very weak vacuum on it, and obviously a few years later here I am with the line clogged again. This plumbing company saw where the line actually went up after the bend instead of going down, found that the rear side of the wall was accessible via the air supply, reconfigured the pipe, and now it actually uses gravity instead of water pressure to drain. He even hooked it up with a tube I can remove in case I need to clear it out in the future. I was really impressed with my plumber's work, whose name was AJ, and would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing help. I forgot to mention that I called them at 4 PM and they showed up at 5. I mean it was a fluke that they had a cancellation but really it couldn't have been faster, and helped me avert a potential disaster. My drip pan was looking real bad, probably need to replace it too but I'll likely wait until after the summer. At least its dry now! read more

We have used All About Plumbing twice in the past month and both times were great! Experience 1: we noticed that we had a leak between the water main and the main shut off for the house. We called All About Plumbing and they came out and replaced the line from the water main to the main shut off. Noel and his crew did a spectator job and have had no issues since they did the outside pipe. Experience 2: we were needing to have the inside of the house repiped, since All About Plumbing did such a great job on the outside we had them give us a quote for the inside, which was very reasonable for the amount of work it was going to be. I had a problem. No not that problem, a plumbing problem. I despise calling out plumbers since I usually feel I get the shaft. This time I lucked out though and found a good honest local plumber. I needed a valve sweated in on my hot water heater and the staff at All About did it quickly and professionally and I did not feel I was over charged. To top things off I had a couple of valves under my kitchen sink I had been meaning to replace so I ask out of curiosity how much it would cost while they were here. Wow these past several days could have been a disaster as all I imagined was a super high pluming bill and a lot of work to be done. I called All About Plumbing early Monday Morning to have someone come out to look at a pipe leak dripping on my ceiling. I was scheduled for Wednesday (i was able to get drip to stop so Wed was fine) I received a call Tuesday telling me they did have a couple of cancelations and I rescheduled for that afternoon. Zach & Pablo came out - checked the leak and promptly replaced the bad couplings and pipe and did a fabulous job. They were polite, informative, efficient and kept within the quote I was told. Zack even gave me info about the company that manufactured the leaky pipe saying it could be a claim -- WOW How many plumbers do you know that are on your side!!! My plumbing work was completed and paid in full last Tuesday and my cleaning was finally "finished" today (6 days later) after being rescheduled twice. Short story: Called on Thursday afternoon about a leaking water heater. They came the next day to replace it. They were so personable on the phone and the crew sent out were also so nice, so knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them! And this was right after Hurricane Harvey blew through so we were extremely happy they could come out right away. Longer story: Watch if you have American Home Shield. They sent us a plumber with horrible reviews and recommendations. Rated D with BBB. They told us our 23 year old tank broke due to pressure fluctuations with city water because of Hurricane Harvey. Spoke to All About Plumbing after that company left. We've only lived here a year so all this hurricane stuff is new to us! They told us that it was highly unlikely to happen. The tank is 23 years old and probably just a coincidence that it broke after the hurricane came through. Longer story short, AHS denied claim, wanted to send a second opinion plumber who also has bad reviews. Decided to pay out of pocket and use a trusted plumber who has great reviews. Scheduled to have a clogged cleared. Arrival Window was 1-3. By 4pm when they finally showed up I had Called 3 times to get get a estimate on their arrival. Each time, no apology and no call back as to their location. Just surprise they hadn't shown up. When they finally arrived they did not come to my door instead just began walking around my property. They finally decided to come to the garage where I was And ask about the location of the clean out. Again, no apology for wasting my time or not providing Updates. I can Deal with delays, what I can not deal with is companies acting as though they don't need to communicate and that the delays and lack of communication is ok. I have Two bathrooms that need a complete remodel and a house that needs to be repiped. Based on this experience it won't be by this group. Called to fix a fireplace valve. He said it required too much wall tearing down. Asked to him to install two Bidet on toilets and paid $124 for that. vary next day both the seats bolts came apart. when I called he returned the call and asked me to go to Home depot or Lowes and buy longer bolts and replace. i have a right shoulder rotator cuff tear. If I could do all that why would I need him in the first place. I will never call him again. A good businessman would offer to come and make it good on the service he performed which sucked in the first place. Beware!!! read more

Great Service and Service After the Sale! All About Plumbing did Fantastic work in my home! The free estimate was very reasonable, the work was done quickly and very neatly, and the guys were very good about cleaning up! They also were very clever in running the Pex (in replacement of galvanized throughout) such that they didn't ruin some wall paper for which I had no replacement pieces! They brought in a third person to finish in the time they estimated! They also coordinated with the City so that the minute they finished, the inspector came to look at the work so we could get on with the sheet rock work. My contractor for that complimented them on the minimal, neat, holes, and leaving the rectangles for repair. I will definitely tell all my friends to use All About Plumbing and will call them for any future plumbing needs! Since 2010, I have used All about Plumbing for several jobs. They have set toilets, fixed leaky faucets, installed gas lines, snaked sewer lines, fixed water heater. So when I have a big job, of course I call them. I needed to have house completely repiped because my copper water line which was in my foundation broke. I got several bids and they beat everyone! I'm not the type to only take the lowest bid, but I know the type work that they do so I trust them. They did an excellent job in a timely manner. When I needed to replace 120 feet of sewer line, I again got several bids and again I chose All about Plumbing. Between those two jobs, they have saved me thousands of dollars. We've used AAP twice that I can recall. Both times were emergencies (is there any other time that you call a plumber?). The first time, an outside hose bib had busted and was leaking. They came right over, fixed it 2x better than the original. The second time, we had some leaking from again an outside line but coming through the wall into the bathroom.
