I have never been more grateful to come across a tow trucking service. Last Sunday night we were headed home from our beach trip when our car broke down. We live in Kern county so we still had a long ways to go before we made it home. My toddler was crashed out from our exhausting day. Called so many tow trucking services and all were way out of our price range. Then when I called this one, not only was his price reasonable but he went out of his way to drive us to a hotel to get our baby rested. We were stressed, nervous, and exhausted but Anthony was so kind and considerate it made our situation less stressful. He stayed in communication with us once we were ready to head back home. I was with Shawn U. and witness the pathetic reaction this Anthony guy had over a situation that he managed poorly, it's as simple as that. He could have just been a nice guy from the beginning about the situation and been HONEST about everything; apologized for the inconvenience and been sincere about the ETA. At least in that situation we could have decided to wait or get a different tow truck but it would have been OUR choice and we could have had options but no, he started with a bad attitude from the beginning when we were just asking him how much longer we needed to wait for him after his driver didn't show. It's not our fault he only has 2 trucks, one being in Santa Monica at that moment and the other one in that alleged accident. If he didn't have the resources to complete the tow in a timely fashion, he could have just cancelled the tow, especially after they had the "accident", and had another provider take care of us but no; he wants to still make his money at our expense and time and not to mention lie so that he doesn't come out losing; are they serious? We would have been fine waiting for him, especially if he had told us the truth but after 2 hours of waiting wouldn't you be aggravated? Especially after the inconvenience of requiring a tow in the first place. We had to call him for updates, never did he once call us to inform us of an alleged accident or the status of his driver. He wants US to be patient and considerate, especially after lying to us TWICE, when his yard was only a 7 minute drive from us. We literally drove there and back in my car! Don't even get me started on his "yard" man, it looks more like a little corporate office with a mini parking lot. He clearly has room for only 2 trucks, there's no way he can fit more in there. He clearly isn't making much money from this because the business looks malnourished. There's no way to get inside or contact him or anyone for that matter at his "place of business", only through the phone (where he can clearly hang up on us), there is no sign to his business anywhere; no way of knowing it actually exists on that street, we saw no employees, no type of foot or car traffic from his "business". Where is your business? When we arrived to his business he had conveniently "just left", so we returned to the car to wait and after we get back to our other car this jerk has the audacity to cancel our tow?! He never told us he was going to cancel, we had to find this out from the insurance. He told the insurance he cancelled our tow because we had gotten into an "altercation", how?! Over the phone? Because we told you we were tired of waiting and for you to give us an honest answer? This guy is pathetic, he cancel us and what does he tell us when we confront him? "I cancelled your tow because of your yelp review". Well how do you expect someone to not give you a bad review when the service you're providing us is shit Anthony? That's just a sign of a petty sad man, we were in need of help and they did not deliver in any aspect whatsoever. This SMALL business with limited resources, clearly a beginner in the business, has no customer management skills but wants amazing ratings and for people to wait on him so he can make money while his 2 TRUCKS struggle to meet the high demands he puts on his company. Quite simply, get a REAL towing company to help you when you're in an emergency. A real company, with real resources, real people skills, real employees who are real when unexpected situations arise. Where do I begin!! Sunday early morning I was driving home from work, I don't know what I hit on the freeway, but it popped my front tire and I was stranded on the side of the fwy. I had a city vehicle and it will be hours before they would come out. The owners happen to be driving by and saw me off to the side, they stopped in their personal car and offered to help me!! My guardian angels sent them my way!! They went back and picked up their tow truck and towed me home... They are 1st class citizens! Fucking disgusting. You don't want to be towed by these people... I put it a call for an emergency tow at 3 pm. Around 4:30 pm I was called and told that the driver was in an accident and I would have to wait until the police report was done being made. Then when I called, a rude young boy answered and told me that "it's raining, you're not the only one with a call out". Nasty ass company based out of Van Nuys- makes complete sense. Nothing good ever comes out of that city. UPDATE- this fuck named Anthony canceled my tow because he saw this specific review. Last time I checked, I can always change my review and he could've made it better but no. He was an asshole and hung up on me and further left me stranded. I will be contacting the BBB tomorrow and making a full complaint. Had I been in a true emergency and stranded, he would have been liable. And he specifically told me when I called him that he canceled it after he saw my review. AFTER I HAD BEEN WAITING 2 HOURS FOR HIS TRUCK. WHICH HE ONLY HAS 2 OF!! Small shitty ran company. If I could give 0 stars I would!!! This tow company is the worst at handling situations and doing what they say they will! The employee that answers the phone is so rude and hung up on me before I even finished talking. They lied to my insurance company and said they had already delivered my dads car to our house when in reality they never even went to pick it up!!!! They got mad because the freeway was closed last night like if that was our fault. They should be more informed and know what freeways are closed and when .... they said they would go back in the morning to pick up the car but they never did "cause no one called them" okay? It's your job hello!! No one has to call you to go and complete the job you were ALREADY PAID TO DO. It's disgusting how unprofessional people can be.
