I had a very frustrating experience buying two transmissions from this seller. Both transmissions were advertised as working, but unfortunately neither one worked after installation. This cost me a lot of time, money, and stress. After installing the first transmission, it failed almost immediately. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted the seller and was told to try another one, so I purchased a second transmission -- and to my disappointment, that one didn't work either.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At this point, I had already paid for labor twice, lost valuable time, and still didn't have a working vehicle. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Communication was not very helpful, and there was little accountability for the defective parts.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I understand that used parts can sometimes have issues, but receiving two non-working transmissions in a row is unacceptable. Troy and Owner Alex did not deal honestly with my attempt to purchase a used engine. By the way, I don't believe in one star ratings, that is why I'm giving a two star rating I was told a compression test was done before any engine is shipped to a customer. later they changed the story to, they dod a bleed down test. I tested the engine they shipped me 400 miles away. four of the 6 cylinders were in the red zone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I drove 400 miles to return this engine. All $3000.00 worth and they waited 6 hours to tell me they had a better engine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] unfortunately that was too late, and too many untruths later. Still pinching myself to make sure this is real. So they had the unicorn of ZR2 parts, rear Blazer flares that have long since been discontinued and nobody, I mean NOBODY sells them because the plastic tabs are impossible not to break upon removal. Not only did I get both flares without a single tab broken, but the price was too good to be true and they even shipped to the east coast. I'm local to these guys so I can't speak on their online practices. I came in for an old IDI engine out of a 87 Ford truck. The price for the long block was more than I wanted to spend, 2k, about double what I had in mind. But I didn't have a choice, and their price was with delivery to my place. I did call about a week after getting the engine for confirmation of the mileage on the truck the engine was in, and was given "it was low, like 115k or something, let me get back to you." I never got a call back. At that point I had already torn down the engine to see what the internals looked like, and based off of what I saw, I'd say 115k wasn't far off. With all of this said, I feel like 2k is a little steep, especially for these old motors that aren't as efficient or powerful as modern day stuff. Luckily I knew what I was working on and knew what the motor would need if it wasn't up to working condition. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for obscure parts for your vehicle, or don't have the time to go to a pick n pull. I will say the guys in the office were friendly enough, and accommodating. Took me to the back to show me examples of a few engines they had in stock. Not a bad experience, just felt like I was forced to overpay. Is what it is. My truck is back up and running with a much fresher engine so I'm content. read more

Ended up needing something a little different and they had it but needed to wait for them to get it off a car. So I had some time to watch them work. I live in Phoenix, AZ, and called to inquire about auto parts for my Chevrolet Cruze Turbo Diesel. The gentleman was a bit rude as he rushed me off the phone telling me that he had other customers standing in front of him, could not devote a lot of time to me and disconnected the call before I could inquire about all the parts I need and availability. So, I had to call back, and of course, I expressed my discontentment how my call was handled and him hanging up on me before I could ask ALL of my questions answered RE: parts availability. Despite what he may think, customer service applies to customers calling on the telephone as each could very well lead to a purchase. That a customer calling on the phone deserves just as much of his time as customer standing in front of him at his yard. so, I called on Friday about a part which they said they had and that it would be $200. When I called the next morning to make sure it was ready for me to come pick up they told me it was now $275. The second person was completely rude and when I asked him why there was a $75 difference he just said it is what it is. I told him I would think about it and when I called back to see if they had additional part before I showed up they left me on hold I believe purposely for 15 minutes. I drove to the location and only saw two cars in the parking lot so I decided to go up the street and check another dismantler I got the parts I needed and the additional parts for almost the same price that they were gonna charge me. Don't waste your time with these clowns if they're gonna be rude and make up pricing on the fly. Especially if you're looking for Ford parts just go up the street to All Ford. read more

This is long, but if you want to save yourself hundreds of dollars, hours of your life, and a serious headache, read to the end! On April 13th I called to order a CA compliant motor for my Ford Ranger. Things went as expected, we confirmed there was one available and reviewed details of the new motor's VIN. Over the phone they confirmed it was a CA compliant motor and not a federal motor that I would be buying, so I gave them my card information and waited for them to call me to let me know it was ready to be picked up. After about a week I finally called and asked when I could expect the motor to be ready. They said, "oh we were just going to call you! (sure, you were) It's ready now." So I drove 2 hours to pick up the motor. In the office they confirmed the details of the motor with me and then the motor was loaded into my car. A few days later I started work on the motors and realized it was not a CA compliant motor. The wiring harness and set up was completely different and wasn't even compatible with my Ford Ranger. I double checked that I had not made an error when purchasing but the receipt clearly showed they had simply given me the wrong engine. I called and they admitted it must be a federal engine and not the one I ordered. Already this company has scammed me a couple hundred dollars, as the price for a federal motor is not comparable to a CA compliant one. Their solution was for me to swap all the parts from the old motor onto the new one. After some investigating I decided this was not feasible. I am moving my family out of state, and due to the time constraint I did not have the time for the amount of work it would take to swap out the parts. Not only that, but the company sold me a complete motor... not part of a motor that would require me to rebuild part of it with old parts I would have to supply myself. Here we have another couple hundred dollars they are scamming me by selling me an inferior, partial motor. A few days after the last call I called again to inform them I need a refund and I'm not going to be rebuilding a motor that they sold me incorrectly. They tell me they will need me to send pictures of why it is the wrong motor, and that I would be receiving a link via text to send them those pictures. I say okay and wait for a text or email that never comes. Mind you, we have been in correspondence, so there was no reason for the missed text other than a lack of diligence on their part. At this point I'm running out of time to fix the motor or get a new one. I am already tired of dealing with this scamnmy company, and I need my money back for parts to rebuild the old engine we are scrambling to fix since we can't find a replacement engine. I decide to drive another 2 hours and bring back the engine and get my money back. Upon arriving I was met with no understanding or kind customer service but just a cool "we can't do that we can just get you a replacement". I inform them I'm out of time for that and they should have started pulling my replacement engine out the first time I called to tell them they made a mistake with my sale. After some debate they refund me... Oh, except their BS "restocking" fee of 25%, which cost me almost $300. I received no apology for the mistake, no professionalism during the mix up, only blaming me for my time constraint. Even though I did my due diligence to repeatedly confirm the details of the COMPLETE engine they sold me that was supposed to be CA compliant. Even with the refund this company has scammed me out of HUNDREDS of dollars. First selling me an overpriced engine that they lied about, then the gas money to make the trips back and forth, and finally their restocking fee (which was 25% on the price of the INCORRECT engine, so had they charged me that on the correct price of a federal engine, it would have been a significantly lower fee). I understand if people make mistakes and order the wrong parts. I, however, did not, so this company should have taken back the engine they deceptively labeled incorrectly and overcharged for a full refund. In total this has cost me close to $1000 in parts, gas, and fees. Companies like this make me glad I'm getting out of this state with their stupid regulations and horrible customer service. read more
