Ryan gave me the anticipated total and I was off to the waiting area. The seating is actually pretty comfortable which helps when you have to hunker down and spend a couple to a few hours with them. There is a TV and a beverage bar, but I am usually super happy looking at the newer MINIs or sitting down rocking out to the iHeart radio playlist. Mixture of 80s 90s with a sprinkle of current. I pretty much know every song that comes through. lol The customer service team comes in and most speak when passing by the waiting area. Not offended, but it would be nice for everyone to at least acknowledge. They KNOW we are spending a pretty penny here (thanks BMW ). Aaaannnnnyyyyway!!!! I have zero grievances with my service. I trust that the technicians know the vehicle and will do what is best. Which leads to a very nice touch which is the technician's personal video uploaded to you via text----introducing themselves to you as the one who has serviced your vehicle and they begin to show you recommended areas for repair opportunity . They take the time to actually show you and explain the issue telling you whether it is urgent or can wait until next service. To me, that service is invaluably top notch. I've never encountered a run around with my service, never had to return the vehicle because something was not done properly. I'm a single mom with two kids and this car purchase was literally my entire savings, so the stakes were extremely high for me. I bought a 2019 Kia Soul from Bob King Mazda. A few days after purchase, I noticed some issues with the car and ended up taking it to Bob King Kia for diagnostics since it's a Kia. They discovered a pending check engine code related to the O sensors and replaced both sensors. The invoice showed the repair would have been around $850, but thankfully they covered it and I did not have to pay. I want to be very clear about something: the people I dealt with were great. Billy at Bob King Kia was very helpful and reassuring when this all started. Randy at Bob King Mazda was also great to work with. But the real MVP was Josh in the Mazda service department. Even when things were confusing behind the scenes, he stayed patient, explained things clearly, and treated me with respect the entire time. His people skills alone would make me consider returning. They also provided me with a loaner vehicle while the issue was being addressed, which I deeply appreciated and absolutely made a stressful situation easier. That said, I do have some concerns that I think future buyers should be aware of. When I first purchased the car, the coolant was extremely low and the engine air filter was completely clogged with debris. It was obvious those things hadn't been checked before the vehicle was sold. That's what ultimately led me to discovering the other issue in the first place. After 10 days of diagnostics and repairs, the jerking sensation I initially noticed while decelerating is still present, although it is not nearly as severe as before. The explanation I received was essentially that the vehicle has over 100k miles and sometimes cars just have their own "personality." Maybe that's true, but as a first-time buyer, I was hoping for a clearer mechanical explanation. To be fair, the dealership did step up and handle the emissions issue at no cost to me, and they treated me respectfully throughout the process. I genuinely appreciate that. However, I would strongly recommend that the dealership implement a more thorough mechanical inspection process on used vehicles before they're sold. A quick inspection by a technician could likely catch things like low coolant, clogged filters, or pending codes before a customer drives off the lot. At the end of the day, the staff treated me well and the issue I didn't know about was addressed. But as someone who spent their entire savings on their first car purchase, this experience was definitely stressful and could have been prevented with a more thorough pre-sale inspection. For now, I'm hopeful everything continues running well. Time will tell. And as a first-time buyer who learned a lot through this experience, I'll definitely be paying very close attention going forward.

I purchased my vehicle from Flow Volkswagen and later brought it back to Flow for a paid diagnostic visit due to coolant loss, drivability issues, and a check engine light. I paid for that diagnostic, and was told nothing significant was found. Shortly afterward, my independent mechanic discovered multiple serious, pre-existing issues that were either missed during Flow's diagnostic or tied directly to Flow's pre-sale service work. These included: An improperly installed water pump, missing required hardware Multiple coolant leaks and compromised cooling system integrity Corrosion and failing components related to the cooling and PCV systems A rear main seal leak requiring transmission removal Severe carbon buildup and injector issues causing drivability problems These were not minor wear-and-tear issues. The improperly installed cooling system created a real risk of sudden coolant loss and catastrophic engine damage. My independent mechanic immediately identified problems that Flow failed to catch despite charging for a diagnostic. Most concerning, Flow later acknowledged in writing that a critical component related to the water pump had not been installed correctly and offered to supply the missing part--confirming that the vehicle had been sold to me in an unsafe condition. Because of the risk involved and the lack of timely resolution, I was forced to authorize immediate repairs through my primary mechanic to prevent further damage. Those repairs totaled several thousand dollars. While Flow eventually refunded the diagnostic fee, that does not begin to address the broader issue: the vehicle was sold with improperly installed components, significant defects were missed during a paid diagnostic, and I was left to absorb the cost and stress of correcting those failures. I attempted to resolve this through: Direct communication with dealership management Volkswagen of America Better Business Bureau mediation A formal complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General At no point was this handled proactively or transparently by the dealership. I am leaving this review to warn other buyers: do not assume pre-sale inspections or paid diagnostics at this dealership are thorough or reliable. If you purchase or service a vehicle here, have it independently inspected immediately. I wish I had.

I could clearly see the SERVICE sign and decided to look online for any good deals on a new Volvo. Filled out a form online and Volvo called me within the hour.
