Highly recommend... and I've been having to deal with electrical issues for over a month now. All American just solve the problem by fixing two other electricians' bad work. Less than a month ago, another electrician came out to "fix" plugs that weren't working. But, the "fix" didn't stick and I thought it was a new problem of a breaker being tripped. So happened that 3 plugs and 2 light switches had been installed by others wrong. VERY HAPPY! All American Electrical is now my go-to. read more

Unfortunately I was referred to this electrician by American Home Shield. Terrible and worrying service. Although they said they had repaired the fault it wasn't the case -- they didn't test their work whatsoever and left with the circuit still not operating. Their dispatcher told me it was my fault because I didn't supervise their technician -- really? It's my job to supervise their technician? UPDATE -- Kyle came back and put things right. He is a very nice guy and if you can get him to do your work you will be fine. read more

As others have mentioned, this company sucks in customer service. They will lie about coming to your home and will never answer the call when you call them. Unfortunately, I was referred to them by American Home Shield. I called them several times, even AHS called them several times but they will not answer your calls. Just like others, I too lost track of how many calls I've made. I am still waiting for someone to call me back and schedule the appointment. I will update once the service is done. read more

We were referred here by our home warranty company because we had a few outlets and two lights not working. The first technician came out twice and the first time he ran out of time in the day to fix it. The second time was the "disaster" where he claimed he was 100% SURE that a wire in the wall had a nail in it and wanted to start putting HOLES in the wall to find the wire. As an engineer, this didn't sound right to me. Turns out he couldn't complete the work because the electrician didn't have wire with him. The technician was rude to me and my husband and refused to tell us what work he had done or what he planed to do. He also left a mess, including the circuit breaker panel exposed. After escalating the issue to Mr. Charlie (a manager), and after a ton of convincing that the technician was in over his head, we finally got another Mr. Charlie to send someone to "clean up and look into the issue". Within 30 minutes of Dennis and Paul arriving, the issue was fixed, place cleaned up, and paperwork was filled out explaining exactly what happened and NO HOLES were in my walls. Turned out that "100% sure" thing was not a sure thing. I wouldn't use this company again, unless you get Dennis and Paul. read more

If you are looking for good and timely customer service, I recommend you stop reading this and search for a different service. If you are stuck with AAE due to your home warranty service, I'm so sorry. Me too. We had Corey out three/four weeks ago, I cannot believe you remember it's been so long now. He was kind, I felt like he knew what he was doing but his schedule was "too busy" to fix it that day. He said someone would call me that day and schedule a Senior Technician to come out and fix the issue. No one ever called. I called and left several messages before finally getting ahold of Lupe who said I would receive a call to be scheduled. No call. We spent thanksgiving in a house with no main lights...after the holiday I get ahold of Lupe and she gives me Charlie's number. Insert several excuses on delay of service and a week later Charlie arrives to my 2-6pm appointment at 6:30 (I had to call him to let him know no one showed during my appointment). I had to cancel Christmas plans and never received an apology for not showing up when they said they would. Charlie asked what the problem is, I give him the gist (because I'm an electrician and all ) and he says he cannot fix the issue today due to a new box needing to be installed. I also asked he check the breaker box...he never looked at it. When inquiring about when I would hear back from him I received a lot of excuses about how busy they are and the loudest customer gets seen first. After asking several times (being talked over and get more excuses) he said he would get back with me tomorrow and he will schedule Denise come out in between jobs and do the work needed. I just want an appointment, I don't want to be squeezed in. I've been pursuing this for over a month....anyways, I digress. Does AAE know what they are doing, most likely. What they need to improve on is timely communication, communication with each other, apologizing when they fail to provide good customer service and following through with what they say they will do. Do they care about improving, probably not because their business is with American Home Shield and not with the person and family they are contracted to.... Hoping Denise can fix the issue, I'll make sure and update. UPDATE: I was able to be scheduled the next day for the repair. Denise and Quincy came. Denise was obviously irritated at the beginning of the repair and I asked what the issue was. He said he was told it was a quick fix from Charlie and it didn't seem like it was going to be a quick fix. I expressed my frustration about the lack of communication within the service. He the quickly changed his tune and got to work. Quincy was very professional the entire visit. Denise was great and did fix my issues. He does know what he's doing and I would probably call him and Quincy for further repairs if I already didn't have such a bad experience with the AAE. Charlie called afterwards to discuss the visit and make sure everything was done well but it feels like a too little too late after such a difficult time getting service. My recommendation would be, If you have to use AAE with American Homeshield, go ahead and schedule Denise to fix your issue so it won't take a month to finally get it fixed. I have a good report! Our electricity went out and I called American Home Shield (we had a good experience with AHS in another home so we stuck with them). We use CPAP equipment so this was a medical emergency. AHS contacted All American Electrical, they had a technician in the area and Rodney was there in 15 minutes. Miracle-of-miracles Rodney diagnosed the problem in 2 minutes, it was ONCORS and they fixed it. So I give kudos to All American Electrical (Rodney) and ONCOR for promptly helping us in a medical emergency. God bless them all. Did I fail to mention this was Sunday??? read more

I needed a ballast replaced on a flourescent light fixture. Tech came out 10 days ago and took the bad ballast with him saying he had to get the part. When I called because it was taking so long to finish the repair a cheery woman informed me it will be 5 more days before the tech returns to install the replacement. At first she couldn't find my 'ticket' then she insisted the tech had been to my house twice. Okay. Fine. Your tech has been to my house twice. I still don't have a functioning light fixture. Normally I wouldn't put up such a negative post...but...I requested that the tech switch the fixture from the guest room closet to the pantry; they are identical fixtures. He did not want to do that because "it would be a whole lot of work time for replacing a bad ballast." Customer service translation: it's better for customer to be inconvenienced for two weeks instead of providing the service for which they are paid. This company doesn't deserve a full star. read more

Do NOT use this company! The Service Manager was rude!!! And, the technician wasn't a Rocket Scientist either (read below for more details). I selected this company through my home warranty - AHS. I sent an electrical service request because my video doorbell was not working properly (partially ringing or sometimes not ringing at all). Note: An Alert360 tech had previously determined it was an electrical issue that needed to be serviced by a licensed tech. When the All American Electric tech (Tyler) arrived, the first thing I noticed is that he wasn't wearing a mask. So, either this company has completely eliminated their restrictions related to COVID-19 or employees are not following company policy. Tyler replaced the transformer and doorbell chime then he tested it. Initially, he said it was fixed and was preparing to leave. I told him based on what I heard it's not fixed because it only partially rang (didn't make a "ding dong" sound...it barely made it to the "di"...in "ding" so "dong" didn't have a chance). Tyler did some troubleshooting, including the removal of the doorbell and touching the metal part of the screwdriver to the exposed doorbell wires. He did that to rule out a problem with the doorbell hardware vs. the wiring. Ultimately, Tyler was not able to fix the problem. He said he had never experienced this issue and wasn't qualified to make the repair so he would escalate it to the Manager or a more senior tech. After Tyler left, I started hearing intermittent buzzing and ticking sounds from the transformer so I called the company back to express my concerns with a potential fire hazard. The dispatcher said she didn't know when they would be able to send someone else out, but she provided the Service Manager's name (Charlie Wetzel) and cell phone number and advised that I call him if something happened before another arrives. This morning, I received a voicemail message from AHS stating that a doorbell replacement is not covered under warranty and to call back if I had any questions. When I called AHS back, I informed them that I was not trying to get the doorbell hardware replaced and I was confused by how they reached a conclusion overnight. The AHS rep initially said they were advised that the problem was caused because of a chipped piece on the doorbell. When I called BS (because Tyler tested it directly on the exposed wires), she contacted the company (Tyler and Charlie). Today, their hypothesis was an issue with damaged wiring within the walls or attic (e.g. stepped on, chewed by squirrels or rats) when Tyler never checked beyond the few inches of transformer and outside doorbell wiring. The AHS rep said she will send a different company out for a second opinion. While on hold with AHS, I missed a call from Charlie Wetzel (Service Manager at All American Electric). I decided to call him back to get clarification on how they made their determination overnight when Tyler left here confused and no other tech had been out. Charlie said he was able to make the determination after Tyler explained what happened. He went on to say that he has "47 years of experience" and there are only a couple of wires so "it doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to figure it out" (speaking to me in a condescending tone) and I was welcome to go with another company. It's funny...he tells me it doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to figure it out, but his "licensed electrician" who was dispatched to my home couldn't figure it out! After Charlie realized that I was extremely irritated by his comments, he tried to make small talk and in doing so he brought up COVID-19 safety precautions. When I mentioned Tyler didn't wear a mask, he seemed surprised and said he will reach out to him to reinforce company policy. This was my first service request through my home warranty company and it was TERRIBLE! If all of their vendors provide this same level of customer service, I will be leaving AHS!!! read more

Horrible, went through AHS warranty for a ceiling fan. The tech came out to fix it. When he left it wouldnt come back on. Called the company back and they tell me he cant come back out until tuesday between 2 and 6. You didnt fix what you were supposed to and i have to be hot for 4 days because of your tech didnt do his job. And then the lady that answers the phone has an attitude because they have piss poor service! Do yourself a favor and go with someone else. read more

I was put in contact with All American Electric Services by my home warranty company, American Home Shield. When I called to schedule an appointment, they were able to fit me in for an appointment the following afternoon. John, the electrician, was on time and very friendly. The outlet to my washer was broken, and John went above and beyond moving the washer out of the way, and crawling into a tiny space to fix it. As this was covered by warranty, I cant speak to the price--but I would definitely recommend this company for their quality of work. read more

I do not even know where to begin. This company seriously need to hire extra staff so they are not swamped with their phone calls (per front desk) all the time. I lost track of how many calls I've made, at different times during their office hours, that weren't picked up but went straight to voicemail. It is not humanly possible to be on a phone line for the duration of office hours. What got me really agitated, was when the technician came by on a UNSCHEDULED day and left a note outside saying "sorry we've missed you", and was a NO CALL NO SHOW during the scheduled appointment. I called - went to voicemail. My warranty company also called - went to voicemail. Save yourself some blood pressure pills and go with another company. read more

I spoke to Tim at All American Electrical and he was able to help me with my electrical needs over the phone, thus saving me money and time. All American Electrical Service was dispatched to my home by my insurance company, American Home Shield. They were sent out to replace a GCFI outlet and receptacle linked to my pool equipment. A pool contractor - also dispatched by American Home Shield - had started the original work on the outlet, but the claim was transferred over to All American Electrical by my insurance company when the pool contractor realized the required work exceeded their capabilities and experience. All American sent out a technician, but when he couldn't get the new outlet to work, he told us that he would need to send out a more experienced technician. The next day, American Home Shield called me to say that the All American electrician had informed them that the GCFI box was damaged by us - the homeowner, and that they could not cover the claim. After an entire day of research and phone calls, I was able to confirm that the previous pool contractor had dismantled the GCFI outlets and box (not damaged them, as claimed by All American) and was unable to reassemble it...that's part of the reason he requested an electrician! American Home Shield re-authorized the claim and dispatched All American Electrical to complete the work on July 24, 2014. It's now been over two weeks, and All American Electrical has not done a single thing to complete this work. They haven't returned my phone calls, and when I had American Home Shield look into it, they were told by someone at All American that they were waiting for an AHS supervisor to contact them to explain why the claim had been reversed. They've been told at least twice that they are completing work that was started by another company...what's so complicated here? If they didn't want to come behind another company to finish up a repair, then they just needed to say so...then we could have moved on to another contractor. Instead, they did nothing, while I've had loose electrical wires exposed outside my home - very dangerous! The least they could have done was to contact me to let me know what the hold-up was instead of ignoring my calls and those of American Home Shield. Poor customer service! As of today, I've scheduled the repair with another electrician and plan to NEVER do business with All American Electrical Services again. read more

Was referred by American Home Shield, scheduler called the same day the ticket was generated and I was scheduled for the next day. Technician arrived right on time and was professional and diagnosed the problem within minutes. Unfortunately it was a problem in the A/C unit that the previous HVAC tech failed to diagnose correctly (so the ticket should have never been referred to an electrician anyway). So while I'm back to the HVAC people, I have the peace of mind knowing that the house wiring is not the problem. I'd certainly use All American again if I need electrical work. read more
