Beware they pressure clients to modify bad reviews.** Warning! All American Flooring knows how to look like friendly flooring experts, but it's a sham. We've done floors before and got second opinions on AAF's project. A professional flooring company will prep and level your subfloor and correctly install new flooring on top. AAF does none of this, and tries to pass off shoddy workmanship as legitimate, which renders their warranty worthless. They tack on fraudulent charges if they think they can get away with it. When we pulled up our new floors two months later for repairs, we discovered AAF had added at least $626 in fraudulent charges: plastic sheeting that was missing and $500 of imaginary grinding. AAF does no leveling/flattening, but failed to mention this until after installing our laminate in rooms with low points of up to 1/2". *Installing on a subfloor that is not flat will damage the new flooring, so professional companies do not do this.* AAF said in particular they do not level wood subfloors, but they were also unknowledgeable in basic flattening, like sanding, shims, or extra underlayment to even out the floor. AAF insisted our floors met their standards, and they could not do better. Our project manager said if we wanted flat floors, WE HAD TO HIRE A SECOND COMPANY TO DO THE FLATTENING! (It was standard flattening. The company that did it was surprised ours could not do it for us.) AAF also installed everything incorrectly. Floorboards separated. Stairs were crooked with visible gaps. An incorrect transition piece was installed. Excess glue was pushing up the floorboards. All of these problems and more were present EXCEPT the board separation (which appeared just after) when AAF inspected our floors four (4) times and told us they met NWFA standards. Boy, they tried hard to convince us their shoddy workmanship was fine. I wish I could share everything I recorded, because it's hilarious. Their tactics included: using levels incorrectly, confounding levelness and flatness, saying some fixes would "void the warranty," saying that AAF "always" leaves gaps in their stairs, and they "can't touch the baseboards" (their words). We asked for the industry standards they claimed they met. The standards did not match AAF's work or words. Example: Acceptable unevenness is capped at 1/8" over 6ft. We had low points of up to 1/2". Another ex: The installer is responsible for leveling/informing the owner of any problems leveling BEFORE install. Confronted with these facts, AAF finally agreed to minimal repairs. We asked them to send appropriately skilled contractors this time, but when the contractors showed up, they said they saw nothing wrong and nothing they could fix. We had to have the boss call them and tell them they were authorized to fix the shoddy floors. Then they immediately pointed out the incorrectly installed pieces and said the floors were uneven and the stairs looked "unprofessional." So their contractors are trained to pass off AAF's shoddy workmanship, too. No wonder AAF pushed for us to pay 100% upfront. I guarantee they never would have fixed anything if we had already paid. They refused several times and tried ghosting us for 6 weeks. AAF eventually realized we knew about contractor fraud and attempted more extensive repairs at the last minute. They sent their best team to reinstall flooring after the other company did the flattening. This third team tried to fix way more than AAF had said they would. The quality was heaps better, but still not great (see photos). It made me nervous that they were attempting extra because we knew their low skill level and self-proclaimed lack of experience with subfloors. Some of their fixes were not the wisest for this building and will likely cause problems later. AAF reluctantly agreed not to charge us for the staircase since we will need to have someone redo it a 3rd time. They asked for a 3-star review in return, but we informed them a 1-star review is appropriate for a poorly skilled, deeply dishonest company. read more

Greg was easy to work with. He did have to cancel/reschedule our 1st appointment. I would have liked more communication once approved estimate and kept informed better when flooring would be back in stock. Also was told would be able to put floor down without any transitions and would be able to lace into existing flooring. They were not able to lace into the bedroom to the bathroom and will have to come back when the transition comes in. The workmen worked quickly and efficiently. The did the 400 sq feet in about 4 hours. They cleaned up pretty well. There is still some dust in the bathroom from the closet. Also after I looked at the baseboards closer, I can see where they were with the carpet and they are now a little lower making the wall not look clean. All American Flooring did have the best competitive price. I also liked when Greg told me the carpet (brand new house) would go to Habitat fro Humanity. read more

Update!!! The hardwoods are replaced and look ever bit as beautiful as they did the first time! I also asked Anwar to replace the tile in the downstairs bathrooms and I am so happy! I had some pretty specific ideas in mind and it turned out exactly like I wanted. Hoping to get the tile replaced upstairs early next year and am not even hesitating about who I'm going to call- haha! This is the second time I am using All American Floors! If you are looking for new floor in the DFW area, this is the place to go. Anwar was absolutely amazing he gave us excellent options and helped with our price range. He was also very knowledgeable and helped us along the process. We had a tight timeline and the installation crew was hands down the best customer service I have ever seen. They came on a Friday at 8am and worked until 11:30pm, finishing up all the flooring (yes a full two days of work in one) --and were right back at it Saturday morning working until the evening doing all the baseboards. Only a few minor touch ups were made on Monday morning and immediately after they were done a customer service agent from All American Flooring called and made sure everything was up to standard before charging the final amount. We could not be happier and will recommend them to everyone we know. We also got several flooring quotes from an independent contractor and bigger places like Nebraska Furniture Mart, and Floors and Decor. We recently decided to change all our floors to wood surface. We had previously used a few other companies in the area that resulted in either poor customer sales support or sloppy installation and service. I was hesitant to use another but knew we needed. As soon as we stepped into AAF we were greeted by Anwar. He was very attentive to our needs, gave us some great instruction on what to look for based on our needs (main areas and upstairs). He came out the day AFTER CHRISTMAS (what service), measured our floors and explained the entire process to us. We were very cautious but excited since it was very clear what would take place. We had his crew start the work about a month later. The installation crew was the BEST installation crew I have experienced in all the work we have done in our houses. They were very considerate, explained the work for the day and kept the work space neat and clean as they went. The installation was beautiful. The salesperson spent time helping me figure out what exactly suited my house and had floor picked in a matter of days. He wAs dead on with the measurements and the job was done in a timely manner. However I noticed that the floors needed another coat of polyurethane and buffing--the company came right away. My card was also charged twice in error, surprisingly the company offered no qualms on the matter and refunded my card within 30 minutes. We've used All American Flooring in Lewisville for many years. We bought our house back in 2005 and had been on a low budget with the move. All the flooring needed work, but they gave us a great deal and we were able to replace the carpet throughout the house and even replace all the downstairs tile. Within the last couple of years, we've started to update again. They installed hardwood floors downstairs and installed granite counter tops in the kitchen. Here we go with round four of the updating and we never hesitated to go back to All American Flooring. They are now updating all three bathrooms and updating the carpet upstairs. Anwar has been a great resource for all the projects and he definitely knows his stuff. He's had ideas and recommendations that were very beneficial. You can go to their showroom and makes some selections but when he comes to your house with your selections, he's got some additional options. He's had the patience with our inquiries and changes. We've only had one issue with the installations, but honestly not sure it could have been foreseen. He quickly worked with his expert contractors and they came up with a beautiful solution! He definitely made sure we were completely satisfied every single time. We've referred several of our Carrollton friends to Anwar and I know they're loving the projects he completed for them. Anwar was a pleasure to deal with and had the best pricing compared to big box retailers and a couple local guys with a huge selection of products. I received a same day measure and price quote and he was available during and after the install to make sure everything was satisfactory. I chose a Shaw product due to a recommendation from a family friend and they did a fantastic job. I can't see any of the seams in the carpet that was installed, and it was a pattern too which makes it more complicated to achieve a seamless install. All the rooms were power stretched (a must for carpet longevity). Will not hesitate to contact him again for future projects. I only wish more businesses operated with the customer service and integrity as Anwar does with AMF. read more

" He promised low pricing and great service and he lived up to his words. His installation crew, managed by JJ was very proffesional and did such an amazing job. JJ and his crew worked long hours, Saturday - Thursday and after the job was completed, they took their time cleaning to make sure the floors look great. I would not have even given them a 1 star if I didn't have to....We bought carpet from All American Flooring in Lewisville, in 2013. Last November I was concerned that our carpet was not wearing well... it wasn't even 3 years old and looks like it is ten years old...Plus, EVERY doorway from carpet to tile looks like it is sunken When we bought the carpet we were told SEVERAL times we had a lifetime warranty. I started contacting Abraham LAST November. He finally came out and said he would replace the carpet but he wanted an installer to come out because he thought it was the installer's problem...Installer said not his problem, then he said I had to have it professionally cleaned every 18 months (we were NEVER told that) so Abraham had it professionally cleaned and the cleaner said he could not find dirt in the carpet. So Abraham wanted a 3rd party involved...well naturally the third party said I do not have a case. Ok... Abraham wins but I have a house with carpet from All American Flooring that looks HORRIBLE...from my laundry room to my carpet you can see two foot prints where we have walked...remember the carpet now is only 3 years old and I supposedly had a lifetime warranty. I would NEVER buy anything from All American Flooring. Even though I have a lifetime warranty it doesn't cover any part of the problems I am having with my carpet and supposedly I was buying the TOP of the line carpet and padding. Buyer beware. read more
