I called to have a duplicate key made at 3:33 PM on Wednesday. He arrived around 4:45 PM and attempted to program a new key. By 8:45 PM, we were still in the parking lot and the key was not working. Because I had a flight to catch early the next morning, I suggested that we stop and put everything back together. However, he encouraged me to allow him to continue programming the key. He told me if he put the pieces back my car would be loud and the alarm would keep setting off. He finally completed the work on Monday, and my father picked up my car on my behalf since I was out of the country. When I returned and got my car back, there were components that had not been reassembled. In addition, new issues had developed: 3 of 4 windows no longer roll down, and the driver's side door no longer locks properly. I now have to lock the car by opening the rear door and manually pushing down the lock. I attempted to replace the window fuses, which temporarily restored function, but the fuse now shorts every time the windows are used. The driver's door continues to malfunction, never fixed that part. He was very nice and clearly works hard; however, I wish that if he was unable to program the key, he had communicated that upfront rather than continuing to work on my vehicle. This process resulted in several hours of lost time, significant expense, and additional damage to my car. I have now paid $740 for this service and will need to go to the dealership to address the issues caused, with no way of knowing what the additional repair costs will be. I have been told by him that I need to travel to Hayward or Oakland, but I live in Sunnyvale. As a single mother of two, it is extremely difficult to find the time to make these trips, especially after already spending days previously waiting while the issue was unresolved. As a business owner, taking payment for work that resulted in further damage rather than a solution has made this an unfortunate and highly inconvenient experience. read more

Finally an honestly priced and professional locksmith! Nir was on time, and most importantly, very honest and reasonable on the price- showing me what was wrong and charging what he quoted. He did excellent work with our fancy locks and fixed where a handyman had previously installed some of the handles upside down where they couldn't be taken off. He did thoughtful things like wear shoe covers, wear a mask when I asked, and help me document a broken lock. I had my truck towed to the ford dealership at their request. I had replaced the trucks computer and it needed to be "Married" to the vehicle. Of course - moving is an all-day thing ... or at least it feels like it. So when you havent eaten all day, you expect to get a good meal, head home then relax, right? Yeah. I wish. Nir shows professionalism and is very knowledgeable at what he does. My problem would of cost me double with towing and having to look for a place. Also not having my vehicle for a few days. Knowing a good locksmith is one of those things that you don't realize how important it is until you need one. Spoke to Nir about needing new master keys for my car and was quoted a reasonable, but not cheap price to replace my keys (unfortunately new masters are rarely cheap). I later found out that my car was an odd year where the ECU was a bit different and called to let him know. He explained that I was incorrect. He arrived a couple of days later and had found that the year and make was indeed unique and more challenging to reprogram. I had a great experience with Nir at All American Lock and Key. We had a contractor break an expensive locking system on french doors that lead to our back patio and after calling several other locksmiths who were unable to fix it Nir was able to easily replace a piece and secure the door, fixing the entire system and creating a new set of keys for it, without needing to buy new hardware for the door (which saved us a lot of money). I'm incredibly pleased with the work and the short amount of time it took to complete it. The price was very reasonable and Nir even fixed my front door which had also been sticking. Called and asked for cost and capability for service to provide programming on a Key FOB. A very tired voice quoted me $300 and I explained that is the cost for an entire new key from a dealership. I got Nir's phone number from my long-trusted auto mechanic. My 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid had not been driven in almost 2 weeks (covid) and the battery had drained. Unfortunately, someone had tried to break into my car sometime in the past and broke the keyed entry without my knowledge. With no battery, the fobs would not open the door and I couldn't access the hood release and begin recharging or get a jump without that. Nir arrived in less than a hour and evaluated the situation. He determined that the lock needed replacement and got to work. I was inside on another Zoom meeting... while he replaced the lock, opened the hood, found the charger that was on the front porch and set the car up to begin charging. He tried to start the car and determined that the key fobs worked and that the keyed entry also worked. He recommended that I move the car closer to the garage and place the charger inside with just the connectors exposed. I did that and I am a very satisfied customer. The car does start but I am leaving it on overnight charge just to be sure. He told me that the lock is fully guaranteed so that if it fails due to something other than attempted break-in he would repair or replace it- no charge. I would echo my mechanic's recommendation to keep his card handy for auto or residential or commercial locks. read more
