There is nothing worse than the moment of sheer horror when you pull your door closed behind you and realize that your keys are on the other side. In my case, it was compounded by the fact that I'd locked myself out the week before - and had to go to my office to get my spare keys - which I was absolutely sure I would have a chance to get copied and leave several copies in different places. But of course I hadn't got around to it, so both sets of keys were inside my house and I was not. OMG! I don't know what would of happened if Devin didn't come to our rescue! My coworkers car keys got stolen in Oakland :-(! In one of my projects I felt horrible for him! We always take care of our employees! I soon as I heard this I reached out to a couple lock smith the first one responded really quick and never sent a technician!!! We wasted more than half of day waiting for them! At around noon I found two wheeled locksmith!! Devin didn't answer my call but texted me right away! I was a bit sketchy at first due to my experience with the first locksmith that I reached to! I constantly kept texting Devin even tho he confirmed multiple times he was going to go help us, I couldn't help feeling anxious. I even called him but Devin was so patience with me he understood my worry! For the 500th time (lol) he reassure me he was going to go to the site in 20mins and 20mins later my coworker confirmed Devin had arrived!!! Devin ended up replacing the ignition free of charge and took my guy to the store with him to Keep him safe (it was dark already) Devin grow up in that area and was concerned for my guy standing in the street on his own! I recently contacted Devin to arrange for two locks to be rekeyed. This was not an urgent call, but in the meantime, I locked myself out of a separate unit at our house with a smart lock. I texted Devin that I needed his help that same day to do both of the things and he was onsite within an hour. Once he arrived, he quickly assessed the situation, provided a written estimate and got to work. After he gained access to the second unit, I asked him to explain how he managed it, in case I had the same issue again. He spent time explaining his troubleshooting process with the smart lock and I feel more prepared to deal with this in the future now. He then rekeyed the two doors. Not only did he perform great work, he was very personable and explained a few things about the doors that will be helpful for future maintenance (how to adjust the hinges to set the door square again as needed). Wow, that was unexpected. Devin knows his locks and was able to fit us in right away before his weekend. I tried calling to request a simple job in my new home, but got a voice recording which stated to text them for a quicker response. I hung up and did exactly that and didn't get a response for 5 days. I tried calling again and got a text saying "sorry, I'm on a call right now" but they never tried calling or texting me back. The next day I texted that I hadn't received a call or text back and if they are too busy I would find someone else. An hour later, I got a text asking for my schedule the following week, which I immediately texted back. That was 3 days ago and I STILL haven't gotten a response. This guy is so great. First of all, you're not calling a dispatch, you get to speak directly with the owner and technician. Honestly I called him and he wasn't able to give me an exact time. So I went with another who did - didn't show up. And then another and they didn't call back. I circled back to Devin and he was so cool about it. If someone shows up to my home and does a good job for a reasonable price, I'm obviously going to be happy. But that's not what Devin did. Nope! He showed up to my home, did a GREAT job, explained the problem and fixed it AND more...whilst joking around with our kid and making him smile a ton. Our doorknob & lock work better than ever and kiddo keeps asking when the Motorcycle Superhero is coming back to visit! He fit us in same-day for a non-emergent issue.
