(06/27/25 update Have reinstalled hasp latch correctly - but, it appears they tried to bend to work with their lack of knowledge as to how hasp locks work... installed correctly, screws are not accessible.... Needed to buy new hasp lock. Their installation had all screws easily accessible, meaning putting a lock on door was a waste of time. I WAS so impressed & pleased with their work, I'm have him bid on completing a pool to deck conversion. Apparently, he didn't want to work with my choice, so, nothing more was said. I have done a lot of work over the years and am happy to say that if you live in this area, he is your guy. He was fair and honest from the get go. The price he gives you is the price you will pay. I never received any surprise "change orders". As contractors go, Omar was VERY open and communicative. No problems ever getting him or his crew on the phone. He had great suggestions on all things we discussed. Always seemed to know a lot about his work and various things people like. The project was a big one, and I am super happy with how fast it went. He even got started for us over Thanksgiving and Xmas, and his crew would show up on Saturday or Sunday sometimes to keep on working (which was fine with us!). There were no subcontractors involved... everything was through Noor Construction. If we had any minor issues that needed correcting, Omar would come and look at it and tell his crew what to do. We really appreciate the details, crown molding and trim was superbly done, and the tile was just amazing, we are very impressed with his team. I mean seriously anyone who has attempted to do crown molding in the past knows what I am talking about. For details if you've made it this far, our story: Where shall I start. I suppose we start with the idea: build a bedroom in the second floor space of our "great room" which has really tall ceilings... like 30 feet plus. So basically add a bedroom in the second story "empty space" above the first floor. Easy right? Well, after getting ghosted by several contractors, I finally called Omar. He informed he thought we were probably getting ghosted because the architect had told him that footings were needed to support this new bedroom which would be sort of like an island in the middle of the house. We live on a hill, so these support columns would have to go through the first floor, basement, and then under the house. This added to the cost, but we really wanted a bedroom in that space. Omar gave me a price. I told him no thanks, my wife and I thought well maybe we changed our mind as the cost came in higher with the footing work. After a few weeks, we talked it over, changed our minds. We really needed the bedroom. I called him, thinking "gosh he probably won't want our work". Omar came back, no change in price, same deal as before, he didn't even bat an eye, he was ready to go, and this was like 4 weeks later after I told him no. So yea, it was project that I was told was too much for people, everyone didn't want to go get permits or deal with the footings... Omar told us what to expect and stuck to the plan. He dealt with the County and the inspector always came and said even himself "these guys know what they are doing". We passed all inspections. Omar even was super flexible about adding things to the project as we went along, as you know I get ideas about what I might want, we added some carpeting and shelving, and additional tile work that he added at no additional cost to him. He really just knows what he is doing and is super on top of things. So go with Noor Construction if you have the chance, you won't regret it!

We were told just before the concrete was set to be done, that it would cost an extra $800 for additional equipment which turned out not to be necessary, after l refused to pay the extra money. We had Mr. Austin come out originally to look at our old Toilet that had been weeping from the bottom for some time. When he arrived he greeted me with a smile. Upon examing the Toilet & the Floor surrounding it he stated he thought that the gasket had failed & that part of the floor may need to be replaced. He stated that he couldn't be sure how far until the toilet was removed & some of the tiles were removed. The tiles surrounding the toilet were already starting to peel up & the tiles were Very old so we decided to have it replaced with New Linoleum . We explained that we needed to keep the cost down because the house/property was probably going to be sold to a Developer & they would demolish the home. We weren't sure so Paul gave us some suggestions on trying to use Linoleum that was overstock or returned unused. We trusted him to pick out something that matched & that was a decent quality/price instead of going down ourself. He Didn't dissapoint us & made a good choice. It was such a good deal we decided to have the hallway done also so it matched the bath. We ran into one unexpected problem in the subfloor in the Bath but Paul didn't take advantage of the situation & gave us a reasonable quote for the extra work that needed to be done. Paul & his assistant even worked late in order to finish the whole project. Then aprox. 1Yr. later we noticed a problem with the Toilet which wasn't his fault. We went with a cheap toilet from Home Depot & the Toilet not only started to have an odor but we also noticed a little water at the base. I called & he came out promptly to examine the problem. We couldn't figure out why it was smelling after numerous cleaning attempts but we found a chip in the Plaster & suspected that this was where the water was coming from. Paul stated he had never had problems with this particular product on prior but would look at other Brands of Toilets & get back to us with the quote. We ended up getting up choosing a Kohler & Paul gave us the price he paid. He not only gave us his savings but didn't charge to install the New Toilet!!! My Husband was so impressed with his Professionalism that he insisted on giving Paul some money at least for gas. Thanks Again for all your hard work! While Paul was here taking care of our Toilet dilema I confided in him about a problem I was having with Veterinary services. My Dog had a lump & Paul suggested a place that he takes his Animals. I took him up on his advice & now I have finally found a Vet I can trust! Thanks!

Living in Rio Linda, one of my first phone calls was to RCI Plumbing in Rio Linda. I spoke to a nice lady who assured me they would let the tech guy know, since I had to shut the water off to the house.......we had no running water to the house as I told her it was sort of an emergency, but stable since I turned the water off at the meter. Well, I never got a call back from RCI or their repair guy. I called the next day and was told they were really busy, but they would get a message to the repair guy to call us. Long story short, we never got a followup call back from anyone at RCI....not from anyone! I get they're a large plumbing contractor and our problem, while serious, wasn't important to them. I wish someone at RCI Plumbing had the courtesy to at least call and say sorry pal, we're too busy or the job is too small. Fortunately, I didn't wait for these guys to not call back and called Trenchless Plumbing who took care of the problem as quickly as they could. Very expensive repair, but it's done! Cheers All....
