Went to a kid's birthday party that All American Softy was supposed to serve at, and even though the host has confirmed with this vendor just before the event, they never showed up. The host called All American Softy to see what is going on, and got a variety of different stories, like there was too much traffic, or their tire blew out, etc. Last I heard the host was arguing with the vendor over getting a refund for the deposit, which sounds like a ludicrous thing to need to do. After looking at other recent reviews, it seems like others have similar stories. I wonder if this is even a legitimate business anymore, or if they stopped the service a long time ago and are still collecting money for orders. read more

We had an event with All American Softy booked out for over a week. I called the day of to confirm with the owner and he gives a ton of different reasons on why they're not gonna be able to make it. When talking to other soft serve companies, they said just stay away from All American Softy because they're likely gonna flake out on you and turns out all of them were right. I tried to get our deposit back and the guy said he can't refund our credit card but he'll send us out a check. I advise folks do not book with this company cause they're not gonna show up. DO NOT USE ALL AMERICAN SOFTY FOR A FUNDRAISER! Our school used them in August 2023 as a fundraiser for a class council and they never provided the money raised to our class. They ducked calls from the students and were very rude about the whole situation. When the Class Council Staff Advisor contacted them, they claimed to have filed bankruptcy to avoid providing the money we were owed from the fundraiser. Unethical and Bad Business Practices.... We hired All American Softy for 3 parties now. My kids love the ice cream , there are a ton of options and it's truly a dream come true for Lil ones ( adults too lol) . My 29 year old son unexpectedly passed away and we spent a month planning the perfect celebration of life for him on June 19, 2021. We had all of his favorite things - sports memorabilia, an ice cream truck and the Habit Burger truck ready to go. On June 16, 2021 the ice cream vendor we hired notified us that they had to cancel because of mechanical issues. We were panicked and this added to our grief. We contacted Mike and he had us booked in less than 30 minutes to fill that spot! TERRIBLE!!!!! This has got to be the WORST business owner and human in general. Aside from the fact that we did not get what we had ordered, he tried charging me MORE than what my balance was. He also sent me NUMEROUS (maybe 5) THREATS saying he will come to my house and "get what he is owed". Here are some of his famous quotes to me: 1. "You're calling me a bully all I'm trying to do is get f***ing paid a fraction of what the f*** you owe me. I'm from New York. I do not give a f*** I will come there and steal your barbeque." He verbally told me over the phone he has done this before. 2. "You must be a Biden supporter" 3. "We will see how much you pay when I come there and take whatever I want. Ice cream was good, and the staff was very friendly. I didn't have cash on me, and their card machine was down so she was only taking wireless payments. She gave me the wrong phone number to be able to send a wireless payment the first time, and only corrected it after I had sent payment. The payment went through then she still had me pay to the other number, so I lost $23 to them. I tried to get the money back that was sent to the wrong number (the first number I was given), but I got no response and they still accepted the payment. The ice cream had absolutely no flavor to it. It had a weird consistency to it as well. The person serving the ice cream did not wear gloves or use a paper when holding the cones. He would use a rag to wipe something and then touch the cones. As he handed the items to the customers, you could see the dirt on his hands and under his fingernails. I don't even want to think how dirty the truck must be on the inside. After taking one bite and realizing the ice cream was terrible and realizing how dirty his hands were, we threw everything in the trash. I feel bad for the people who paid for him to be at their event. It was a waste of money. read more

Great experience having All American Softy visit our film set. They were professional, showed up on time, and served great ice cream. We're especially appreciative of their extremely fast turnaround. We started looking for a sweet treat for set around 10 AM, as temps soared into the 90°s , and All American Softy was on location by 4 PM.
