1 1/2 minute read: I needed to find out where Norman's Rare Guitars were located, so SIRI took me there. It's located in Tarzana at the Topeka Ventura Plaza. When I got there (09:30) come to find out they open at 11:00. So guess what!? In the same plaza I see a nice coffee shop and decided to have some. I went in, checked out the goodies and a very nice Cashier (Gabby) quickly took my order and faster than you could spit into the wind, my Blueberry Muffin & hot black coffee were ready. The ambience is pleasant and everyone I met, well, they were very courteous, friendly and service minded. There coffee you can smell as you walk in and their bread's are gr8. Parking is plentiful. I call this place home! My family and kids come here for last 13 plus years. Staff is always warm and kind and helpful and always stay positive, no matter how busy day gets... Quality of coffee is clearly amazing, otherwise we would not be there daily! My son loves chocolate pumpkin bread, banana nut bread and lemon poppy seed bread. I love the blueberry muffin! The place is well taking care of and everything looks organized and taking care of... Thank you all for making this place welcoming to all of us! Peet's Coffee - My son and I are having the best Arnold Palmer! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Tarzana, California

Their ham & cheese breakfast sandwich is so good! It's my favorite one. I've also tried their chicken waffle sandwich which I wasn't a fan of, but the h&c is great. It tastes like it was handmade with a panini press but I have no clue if they make them in house or just microwave them like sbucks. I've only ordered online for pickup. I've honestly been a sbucks customer but now I've found a great chain coffee replacement. Their chocolate and caramel swirl frappe is really good too. It's not super sweet, you don't have to customize it at all to make it taste less sugary. It's great as is. Thanks Peet's! read more

Great place for a quick bite and coffee. I visited here from out of town on a Sunday morning. I ordered the egg and cheese sandwich. It was great. I also got a mocha which is mainly why I visit Peets. Peets has the best mochas around town. There was an issue with a deal in the app that I was trying to use, D'Angelo was great and straightened out the issue for me. Great service, give him a raise. read more

I give Peet's props for being one of very few coffee shop franchises with coffee that tastes really good. My usual order is an iced latte with oatmilk and extra double shot of espresso. The service is quick and the baristas are always kind. The parking lot for this location is small and shared with other businesses, so parking can get hectic depending on the day and time of the week. read more

Peet's Coffee is the best coffee in the Valley and where the coffee connoisseurs go. I ordered the caramel macchiato today and it's amazing. Smooth and delicious! Not burnt like some coffee places. The atmosphere in Peet's is cozy and the seating is good: There is outdoor seating and indoor seating. It's a professional discerning crowd who come to Peets for coffee. The service is excellent. Someone cleaned my table as soon as I sat down and was courteous. There's a one hour limit on parking in the plaza so just park on the street if you want to stay longer. The pastry selection is very good. Also unlike most major coffee chains Peets still leaves out sweeteners and half & half for customers. Most places have removed it. Highly recommend Peets Coffee. Wish we still had the Topanga Mall Peets location! read more

Today I tried the iced caramel latte and it was Devine! The service was great and the baristas were kind enough to give me suggestions when I told them I wanted to try something new. There plenty of parking out front and lots of tables inside for anyone who wants to get some work done. It's not too loud or overly busy and there is a bathroom available for customers. Not sure if this is a location issue or an issue with Peet's website but twice now this location has said they don't have the drinks that their website says it does. I'm currently laid up in bed from hip surgery so my dad offers to get me something from Peet's. I'll look at the online menu for the location, tell him the drink I want and then he'll call me saying they told him they no longer make that drink. The two drinks are the grapefruit sparkling cold brew and the iced brown sugar matcha oat latte with jelly. I'm overly frustrated at this point because I emailed Peet's about this issue but they outsource to India so the customer service representative is not understanding what I'm telling him and sending me email with tons of grammatical errors that make no sense. It feels like Peet's just doesn't care how their customers are taken care of. read more

I like the drinks a lot but the staff needs to wear hairnets. I found a hair half way through my closed lid coffee.

The past 4 coffees I've got here were weirdly watered down, today I have it one last shot and asked the guy why my coffees are watered down. He made me a brand new cup and I noticed the machine used to make the coffee had changed. And it's now the same industrial machine that every single sit down cafe uses in Tarzana, and they all produce extremely watered down coffees. It's just really disappointing to see the owner switching out the old method, for a machine that no longer takes any skill or craftsmanship. I get it though. Money runs the world and you needed more. Peet's used to have rich and delicious drip coffee, now it's no different from your local cafe. I used to go here when I wanted a good cup of coffee, Starbucks is better than this BS. Btw the employees had amazing service and answered all my questions, give them raises they're awesome. read more

I can't believe it's been almost 5 years since my last review but nothing has changed since then - they left 4 inches empty at the top of the cup. That is, it wasn't filled all the way to the top with liquid. It's seriously like a bartender who waters down the drinks. The only reason I've ever gone there is when I've had gift cards given to me by others. Once I use up this gift card, which means one more visit, I won't go back. read more

Quite possibly the worst Peet's location in all of Los Angeles. I actually think you need to have a low IQ score to be hired here. I came in today and ordered three drinks. There was only one barista working and it took him five minutes to make a Matcha beverage for the customer before me. When it came time to my cold brew, the employee added the cold brew, a ton of water, and then mixed in milk, when she saw the look on my face, she explained that it's concentrate. Needless to say the drink tasted like anything but cold brew and it took over 10 minutes for me to get a drink, even though there was no line ahead of me. I don't know why a store with so many delivery orders only has one person making drinks on a Saturday afternoon. Never going back. read more

I have always lived this Peets location.. easy to park on street and in lot, centrally located in the valley, friendly staff.. and we all know they have better coffee than the other place. During the vid it was a bit of a challenge because you couldn't go in.. today, i had a very pleasant experience with Henry, great customer experience, he was patient while I was messing around with my app(rarely works) and had good eye contact and a warm customer focused demeanor.
