Not knowing where to go and to be treated fairly I consulted Angie's List and they came up with All Turf Power. It having good reviews. I thought this winter would be a good time to bring in this type of machine because I didn't want to wait for it due to the spring rush, where everyone will want to get their mower fixed because it didn't start in April. I brought my leaf blower in on a Monday. It happened to be snowing but fortunately there wasn't a line of customers wanting their snowblowers serviced. I described my problem to Mark and he said he would give me a call. He did. The very next day. Mark told me the carburetor was gummed up and like he told me they gave the blower a tune up. I picked the unit up brought it home and was pleasantly surprised when the leaf blower started up on the very first pull. These guys know what they are doing.

Upon arriving, I noticed they were having a storewide sale inside. I was looking for a specific dutch oven (Sauteuse) so that we can not only braise our beloved meats but have a more multifunctional one. Due to the President's Sale where most items were between 30% - 40% off, we came at a very busy time. Yet through the madness, the sales associates were all patient and very accomodating. Things are grouped by style and they offer the more popular colors. Happy to conclude, they did have my Sauteuse in Marseille Blue. This outlet store carries everything from bakeware, cookware, and its accessories, kitchen tools, to tabletop. This small but mighty store carries it all! All the associates were wearing masks and there were plenty of liquid hand sanitizers found near every set of displays. So are recipe cards to help you tell your family, "what's for dinner."

Which brings us to the Le Creuset shop at the Jersey Shores Premium Outlets mall. This store has a large selection of their cookware, bakeware, kitchen accessories, and even cookbooks, at substantially discounted prices, and seasonal sales with prices slashed even more. Chris, the manager, is very friendly and knowledgeable. He is a professional chef, and he gave me lots of advice on how to cook and care for the pots, some culinary tricks, and personal recipes. I got a new 7.25 quart round for $189, less than half of what it normally sells for everywhere else. It is first-quality, not a factory second. I love a good deal. If you are in the market for cookware, you should visit this store.

What's not to love about a little roadside farmer's market? The selection was small but everything was super fresh. The small sugar pumpkins were only $2 each so I maybe went a little nutso but I was feeling the almost Halloween pressure. I also got a few sweet potatoes and a couple acorn squash. The sweet potatoes made for a delicious dinner tonight and I am sure the acorn squash will be just as delish. They had a few fall decorations, some bottled honey and apple cider, etc. A little bit of all the fall things. I'll need to remember to make a stop again the next time I am making my way down this path!

Needless to say, Wedgwood is expensive, but on occasion you may find an items "on sale", so I purchase what I want, when I want (once Wedgwood decides to discontinue a collection, the pieces sell quickly). My grandmothers Wedgwood was destroyed during the Nashville, Tennessee flood of May 2010 when the Cumberland River destroyed my home and all my possessions were washed down river, all of which are replaceable. It has taken years to recover and begin to repurchase a new pattern the "Intaglio Collection" and I'm delighted to say my (4) four piece place setting arrived, along with the small and large serving bowls and a 13.5" oval platter, and the trinket box. I look forward to purchasing the bread and butter plates and the covered sugar bowl. Quite a few of the items are already discontinued, the covered vegetable, picture frame, and the large 15" oval platter to name just a few. I just love the simplicity, the clean lines and the overall exquisite appearance of the Intaglio pattern. Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, are now the new WWRD Holdings Ltd. Company.

We have been going to this farm for years and this year, the woman who tagged our tree didn't give…read moreus our portion of the tag. When I went back the tree had been taken by someone else. They didn't care about one bit about this happening and were very rude. The selection is never great so finding another tree wasn't an option. There are many other farms with way better trees and customer service. Sad this happened and will not be back. They need to inform their employees about procedures instead of blaming the customers.

The clothing is kind of sorted by size, however from my experience there are many random sizes stuck in the incorrect area, so it really felt like one of the goodwills that aren't organized by size. Theres a decent book section, a large clothing section (mostly women's) and a large home goods section with some pieces of furniture. I found the home goods to be very disorganized compared to other goodwill locations I've visited. There were some nice dishes but it felt very picked over and was in disarray. This isn't a location I will visit again.

I was picking up furniture from Seaside Furniture, that I had ordered from Doug in Ocean. Seaside Furniture is the warehouse for their stores. First, both Doug and Tammy (I think that's her name, she works Thursdays in Ocean) are both great to work with. However, Roseanne in Brick was extremely rude and disrespectful. I went into the Brick store and the woman in the office called the warehouse and sent me around. I got out of the van and saw a gentleman standing right inside the door. I stepped two or three steps into the warehouse after he acknowledged me and asked how he could help. Out of nowhere, Roseanne starts yelling at me to get out of the warehouse. I start back up and she continues to berate me and yell at me. I told her to stop yelling at me, while agreeing to leave and she just got louder. Mind you, there are zero signs saying I can't walk in there. She could've just simply asked me nicely, as I wasn't looking to go into the warehouse. I simply walked up to the gentleman that asked how he could help. As I was loading the last piece, that same gentleman apologized for how I was treated. Roseanne must have heard him and started yelling at me again. FYI, I didn't get the man's name in the warehouse, but he was also very nice. I like to support local businesses, which is why I purchased my new kitchen set from Gelco. I will never buy another thing from any of their stores again. Nobody should ever be spoken to in the manner she spoke to me, especially a paying customer. She is a cancer in the business and will keep locals like me from supporting their stores. Also, based on how she was dressed, I'm assuming she is usually on the sales floor. I had to search in the store when I got there to find the lady in the office. Not one salesperson was on the floor. Then when I unpacked the furniture to put it together, it was damaged and it was obvious they tried to hide it. I had to go to the Ocean store to get it fixed. I told Doug what happened in Brick and he told me to send him an email that he would pass on to management. I heard back from Lara today. She admitted that she hadn't spoken to anyone else about the issue, but defended Roseanne anyway. How do you defend that? I'll never go back to any of their stores.
