They offered us a very fair price and had no concerns around signing of the SOS form. Max was great to deal with. He provided great communication about the process and where the driver was, and we always knew what was happening on the day of the pickup. Easy Tow deals in cash, as the company name states, which is great. The driver did run a slightly short of what was offered, but that was fixed with a quick run to a neighborhood ATM ( who wants to run around Chicago with a ton of cash these days, right? ). I cannot recommend this business and Max enough. When our second 20+ year car decided she had enough, calling Max and Easy Tow will be our first stop.

However, when their representative arrived, he attempted to pay only $130.00 instead of the quoted amount. I believe this conduct was deceptive and intended to pressure me into accepting far less than the original offer. During the interaction, I asked the driver, Omar, to leave my property after I declined the reduced offer. Instead of leaving, he called 911 because he claimed he felt threatened by me. Multiple police officers responded to the scene and reviewed video footage of the interaction. After reviewing the video, the officers determined that I did not constitute the threat described. It is important to note that any reasonable person who genuinely felt threatened would have left at the first opportunity rather than remain on the property. After the incident, I spoke with the driver's supervisor, Joe, at (708) 262-8351. He refused to provide any information regarding how to file a formal complaint with the company. I believe this company engaged in deceptive business practices and acted unprofessionally throughout the interaction. I would not recommend anyone do business with this company.
