Was looking for a place to get my fiancee's car smog for California and most business' on a Sunday were closed. However, via yelp this place was available on Sunday till 5pm. After, reading a handful of reviews on this place, I decided to give this place a try and I called before heading over there since some of the reviews mentioned that this place closes early at random times. I'm so glad I called first because the owner mentioned that he was done for the day at 3pm and will be closing early. And he wasn't busy at all so there is an opening to get a smog check/ certificate and he had mentioned to come asap. Upon arrival this is a small business. 1 large garage and 1 small waiting area. The waiting area even though small it was clean and had cable TV. There was one person ahead of myself but they were about done and within 5 mins the technician began his process for smog check. Within 10 to 15 mins we were out the door. Car smog with smog certificate ready all for $41.76 with yelp check-in. will definitely refer this place but a note before coming make sure to call first because of random early business closure.

I got in first thing in the morning. The smog check was completed right away. I used the 20% coupon provided by Yelp and owner. I have been going to this establishment for 8 yrs now and very reliable.

Good service and very quick. I made an appointment for the lunch hour that same morning and was fit in. Spent a total of 20 minutes there - from pulling in to driving away. Customer service was friendly and made it a simple process. I was dreading having to get a smog check, but it wasn't so bad. Got my smog check and certificate (I guess this was the easy part) and now on to the DMV...wish me luck! read more

Second time I have used All Smog for my check- always pleasant, through and fast. Called in the morning for a 1 pm Appointment and got in- All Smog takes the hassle out of doing your vehicle smog test. Having my car smogged here was a huge mistake. Vietnamese Guy with the f uped broken English wasn't to friendly. A few of the surrounding mechanic shops will not send them business because of the lousy service. 1 shop says the guy will fail you on purpose so you go back and pay the 50% retest fee. Wow, this place was awesome. I called ahead to check on wait time and see if I had to make an appointment and Rick told me to bring it in. He said it shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes. When I arrived, he pulled my car right in. I had forgotten my renewal papers at home and he said he would take care of it. I think he finished my car in less than 15 minutes, filed my smog certificate electronically to the DMV and I was ready to go. With the coupon my husband found on the internet, I was done in less than 20 minutes and paid $40 (smog & certificate). The place was clean, Rick was fantastic and very efficient. This is where I will go from now on for my smog checks and I recommend this place to everyone that needs a smog check. read more

I used this place because they had a coupon, but when I got there, I was beyond satisfied with this business. The shop and the waiting room are extremely clean. We called and had an appointment to come in within thirty minutes. Once there, the owner was polite and took all of our information, then quickly got started. We were in and out within fifteen minutes and the price is extremely fair. All future smog tests will be done only at this establishment. They prefer to work with cash which I will keep in mind for next time, because any business that exceeds my expectations is a business I will work with to keep them happy. read more

Really late review, but I came here back in May...? for a Smog Check and the guy working here was awesome! I wish I remembered his name but he was super nice and very efficient with his work! I think it was Joe? Idk i just remember him being super nice and possibly Filipino. I was in and out within 20 minutes and the price I paid was pretty cheap compared to what I pay back in my home town! He even added on the Yelp discount before I even got a chance to write this review! (oops) Definitely coming back here next year for my smog check. read more

Had to bring my car in today and with so many Star Stations I used Yelp to help with my decision. I have in the past used many different ones and have been fairly satisfied but All Auto Smog is now my go to location. Quick service, clean waiting room and the Yelp 20% discount was a plus. Got here and there was no line (thank Godd). I appreciated the amenities (e.g., comfortable couch, TV, candy bowl, water). I take all of my cars here because I feel like my cars are treated with respect. If the technician has a question about something he will come and ask me before trying to figure something out on his own (for example, the boot lid on my car can be hard to open). Some smog shops are super dirty... not the case at All Autos. The equipment all looks well maintained and the waiting room is comfortable and clean. They perform OBDI, OBDII and also will do the Diesel smog inspections. A+ Shop. read more

The man working had horrible customer service! First he tells us we should just leave because he is closing soon even though we still had an HOUR and 40 minutes before the posted closing time, then he refuses to take our coupon from the penny saver because "it was already in the system". I've worked retail so I understand wanting to go home as soon as possible but there was no reason to be so rude, especially since we didn't keep him there after hours in the slightest. read more

All Autos Smog is a good option in an area with many 5 star reviews. The prices seem competitive as we paid around $50 for the smog and certificate. Make sure and print out the coupon online. It would have been cheaper for us but they charge $10 more for an SUV. There were a couple people ahead of us but were in and out in around an hour. Not much else to add about a smog test but All Auto Smog is a good honest shop in Vista. We will be back! read more

Good, fast smog check. I called and made an appointment and he gave me a $40 quote. When I got there, I saw that it had a 20% Yelp check-in deal, so I thought I would get a lower price. Not so. He conveniently raised his price from $40 to $50 and then gave me a $10 discount. It turns out, he just gives the "discount" to everyone who comes in, yelp check-in or not. So, it's not really a discount because he just raises the price by $10 and then gives a $10 "discount" -- a very shady practice, but whatever. His price was still lower than anyone else I found, and he was friendly. read more

I am leaving this review for this location as well, since my review involves both the San Marcos and Vista location in the same visit. (See below.) If I could give zero stars I would. I showed up to the San Marcos location before 8 a.m. yesterday (Friday) and wanted to get a smog check. As I walked up to the front door I noticed a white piece of paper on the door that said something along the lines of, "I won't be here until 10 a.m. If you need service before then, go to our other location in Vista." Prior to deciding to go to All Autos Smog, I only had about 30 minutes to show up to the San Marcos location before going to work. My wife spoke to someone on the phone the day before and they assured her that my make and model of car would only take 10 or so minutes so just come on in and they'll take care of me. Unfortunately, after seeing the sign on their door, and being frustrated that I had gotten up early to make time for a smog check before work, I decided to think positive and head to their this location in Vista. That was an even worse idea. When I got to this location, the sign on their window says that they open at 8 a.m., but no one was there. I thought that maybe I would wait a few minutes to cut them some slack. I ended up sitting there for 20 f$&@ing minutes hoping somebody would show up and do a smog check. Nope. Even though they have signs at both locations that say they open up at 8 a.m. that clearly isn't the case. My wife had given me a coupon to get a smog check for a reduced price, but honestly, I would much rather take my business elsewhere and pay full price at some company who won't send me on a wild goose chase throughout North County and make me late to work. This business should change their name to No Autos Smog. Even though their signs say what time they're open, no one will be there to open up the store and take care of you. read more

Needed a smog ASAP.. Long story short procrastinated on my smog for registration and it's due in a couple of days. Work schedule has me stuck at work all day so weekends are my only option. Called around not realizing that most auto shop are closed on Sundays and Andy at All Auto Smog pulled thru on EASTER SUNDAY!! Thank man!! read more

I have been getting my cars smog tested for over 15 years, and I have to say that All Autos Smog is the nicest, cleanest place I have ever done business with. They gave me a professional clear typed work estimate and the services were done in less than 30 minutes at a low cost with no surprises. I will be a customer for life. read more

I've been to many smog shops and this is one of the cleanest shop. They have a nice waiting room. Very good customer services, helped me passed the smog inspection and did my car registration! I highly recommend this shop especially they are open 7 days a week. read more

There are places closer to my house to get a car smogged but I will always come here. I've been here the last 4 years and am always greeted by friendly staff and have never had to wait more than a few minutes before they pull the car in to get started. read more

Called to make sure they were not busy. Told me to come in at 4:30. Went there at 4:20 and was out of there in about 15 minutes. Very clean waiting area, and the technician was very courteous. Will defintely go there again. read more

Came here last Sunday for a smog check. I called but came in late, right before closing, but the tech (Andy) waited for me. He took my car in and I was out in 15 minutes. There is a clean waiting room and TV too! read more
