There have been some upgrades that have made rooms newer and fresh. The hotel staff at check has always been great and this past time, it was exceptional. Calvin, front desk manager, was awesome. He took the time to make some great recommendations, both in the hotel and at outside dining establishments. The new Scull and Keel restaurant at the hotel was awesome, recommend the Chicken & Waffles and the Tiramisu French toast. We liked the restaurant so much we ate there twice. He was super welcoming and inviting after a long flight from California! The rest of the stay was stellar because the staff is also very friendly and accommodating. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets were so great! The shower pressure, amazing! The only recommendation I have is an update to the rooms. They could use some refurbishments. Also, my door didn't quite fit and let in a lot of light around all edges from the hallway. It was really bright in my room because of it ,making it difficult to stay asleep. The staff are always very pleasant and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The bar area is beautiful and the bartenders make the best drinks. Plenty of restaurants all within walking distance and several more to choose from in the mall located 2 minutes down the street. The rooms are huge with 2 king sized beds that are sooo comfortable to sleep on. I booked our room this time using the Mother's Day promo and received a bottle of champagne at check in that was presented to me in a cute gift bag. Small things like that leave lasting memories.

Every staff member we met was kind, helpful, and welcoming. Our room had so many thoughtful touches -- a Nespresso maker, complimentary slippers, and other small details that made our stay feel special. It was our first time staying at an Archer property, and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, there aren't any Archer hotels down south, but I can't wait for the next opportunity to stay at another one!

The smell in the hallway was like trash and McDonald's breakfast and it had to be about 85° in the hallway, Tiffany, the manager or so she claims, which I find difficult to believe because of her unprofessionalism was the worst bully I have ever met in my life, and I would hate for someone to be stuck in this situation that we were stuck in because she used her authority and her position to refuse to cancel our booking because we booked on Booking.com but I have a bunch of pictures to prove and back up what I'm saying. I've already filed the complaint with Hyatt directly. Both rooms that we were checking out to see if they were OK to stay because the first one was disgusting. The second one was just as bad. The property is absolutely filthy. I don't know where the reviews and these photos are coming from, but this is not at all with the hotel looks like.
