We discussed what I was there for and what she would be providing. Upon telling me that she would be providing me a certain product (at 22 units) at the price posted online ($5 per unit), she then said that she dilutes the product and would be giving me approximately 60 diluted units of the product. I asked how much of the product I would be receiving in total, because we had talked about and agreed upon 22 units, and she confirmed it would be 22 units of full product. I then stated that based on the price indicated online, and confirmed over the phone with me, I was expecting to pay $5 per unit, which would be approximately $110 total. Dr. Sabau told me that even though I am receiving real 22 units and that the online price is $5 per unit, I would be expected to pay extra because she arbitrarily diluted the product to 2.5 times less than the full product, and would be responsible for approximately 60 of these diluted units. She continued to say that the online price is misleading and that it is more like $12 per unit to account for the diluted product they provide. It is importantly to note that at no time while booking my appointment was I told the product would be diluted, nor was I told what the product was filled with meaning she was trying to give me an unknown substance along with the service I was there for. I left shortly afterwards and while I don't know if this is an aspect of the company having deceptive practices and advertising, or if Dr. Sabau was going rogue and overcharging her customers, I left bewildered and completely unsatisfied over being flagrantly lied to, wasting my time coming to Old Town Medspa at the Naava location. While I cannot speak to the quality of service because I left without continuing with my service, please beware this company and location that they were caught changing the advertised price of a product.

From the moment I received the treatment, it was clear the filler had been placed too low, creating new creases and worsening the appearance of my under-eye area. I raised these concerns during the appointment and repeatedly afterward. I sent before-and-after photos and attempted to schedule a follow-up, but each outreach was met with excuses (it's swelling, it needs time to settle, she's unavailable, there are scheduling issues, etc). After more than a month, I finally secured an appointment. Before even examining me, Samantha stated there was "no scientific evidence" that the filler could have caused the issues I was experiencing. I again offered to show the photos documenting the change, but she refused to look at them and argued with me about the results. Despite the visible differences and my clear dissatisfaction, she said she "considered the procedure a success" but could dissolve the filler if that's what I wanted. She then left the room, and a nurse returned to inform me that correcting the issue would be an additional charge. When I asked to talk to Samantha, I was told I need to "pay for the treatment or not see Dr Conrad again." I expressed my disappointment, agreed I would not be returning, and left the appointment--only to receive a bill afterward. As other reviewers have noted, Samantha does not take responsibility for unfavorable outcomes and instead treats them as additional revenue opportunities. There are many skilled, ethical medical professionals out there. Save yourself the stress, expense, and frustration, and seek care elsewhere. Edit: As you can see, someone from the business responded to my review. As expected, and consistent with other negative reviews on this platform and others, they refused to take responsibility for their actions and instead made claims about the patient to avoid accountability. While I do not feel the need to defend myself, I can say with complete certainty that their accusations are fabricated. Their response only further reflects the unprofessionalism of the staff as referenced repeatedly in other reviews.
