Broken promises! We were referred to All Cities Glass by our contractor and they installed a shower door in two bathrooms. She informed us that they didn't have matching silver hinges and they would order one and come back and install it. This was in February 2025, and due to the problems from shipping from China, it might be about 12 weeks out to receive it. The next month, the plastic water shield fell off of the door and my contractor and waited for them to come back to install the hedges to fix the door. I contacted her back and she said she lost all messages and he got a new phone so to resend the invoice she sent me and she would get back to me. That was in August and I have followed up numerous times via text in email without a response response. Now my hinges don't match in my master bathroom and the shower door completely fell off on my second half and I have to hire somebody else to repair it. The installers can out today to install our shower door. The installation looks good, hower they gave no conceren to our new quartz vanity top when they put they tools and parts on top of it. My wife ask them to put down a cover on our new tile and put the tools there, they didn't. This company installed a heavy glass shower door unit in my home 2 years before I purchased it from the previous owners. The previous owners used the bath as a guest bath maybe 5 or 6 times since they remodelled. 6 weeks after I moved in and we started using the shower daily, the entire unit started sliding into the bathtub as the adhesive/silicone product used to installed appeared to just melt away. Having kept connected with the previous owners, they shared the business card with me for the company that installed the shower door. After calling Jorge and explaining the problem (though I wasn't sure of the exact dates of installation at that time but estimated it) he was very defensive and claimed it wasn't his company that installed it . He wouldn't come out to even look at it unless I coule prove he installed it. The previous owners found their invoice and shared it with me which I shared with him so he said he would come out 'early next week' which was a little less than a week from my confirmation of his invoice. I had also shared multiple photos of the shower and the failed installation and our inability to use the shower until it could be repaired. "Early the following week", I asked when he would be coming so I could set aside the time in my day. He pushed me off until 'the end of the week'. The end of the week came but he never called. Multiple follow up messages to him on multiple occasions over the next week were ignored. It's now been a month since my first call to him. He was made aware that the shower is severe safety issued and cannot be used. I sought out three other glass companies opinions and they all said the same thing. The shower is a severe safety issued, was not only installed improperly but was also not an ideal product for the type of use. The heavy glass and lack of support is too much for a bathtub. Though it could be completely taken out and re-installed due to the type of unit, the problem could likely reoccur as the door is too heavy for a track that is just 'siliconed' to a bathtub. I would not recommend this company for shower glass door installation specifically on a bathtub. It was inferior and failed after limited use. More importantly however, I would not recommend this company for any product installation if you want trust that they will follow through on any problems that may occur. They do not stand by their work nor take responsibility for fixing any problems associated with their installation even when made aware of the severe safety problem. And do not install a heavy glass (1/2 inch frameless system on a bathtub. It will result in a safety problem for you. I have to replace the entire unit with a new one that is rated safe for this type of use. read more

I would definitely recommend All Cities Glass for Custom Ordered Frameless Shower Doors. I had them out about 8 months ago to install a shower door on a newly remodeled master bath shower. The weren't the cheapest I found (like +$100) but I hired them because they pretty much specialize in the Shower Doors and they have a really short lead time for completion - 1 week. After the quote was complete they did honor the $50. coupon I had from one of the local ad-magazines. Both the Measure and Install appointments were kept on time. Installation was quick, clean and precise. About 1 week after installation I asked them to come back and switch the seal on the door so it would open in-to the shower instead of out. The did this at no extra charge which I didn't expect since it was installed the way I "thought" I wanted it originally. Very good customer good-will on their part. read more

The owner is a pompous jerk who will lie and try to postpone your appointment as much as possible as he is juggling his team around his clients. The team that does the installation is professional and generally good hard working people. The owner kept pushing my appointment for 2 weeks and finally when I gave him an ultimatum he pulled his guys out of other jobs to do mine. Do not do business with a liar - beware! If you must - make sure you read his contract where he doesn't promise a timetable- make him write it in. Rather have paid more and had a shower usable in the normal 1 week timeframe. In the old days, it used to be a process of going to the yellow pages, making a random choice from countless contenders, and crossing your fingers that you made the right choice. Yelp allows me to make an informed decision quickly and, in most cases, accurately. It has definitely helped improve my satisfaction quota. However, not in this case. Jorge is a very nice person... and the shower door looks great, BUT... the ugly shower curtain we had before did a better job of keeping water from getting out. The problem is twofold: First, his suggestion of how the door swings open should have been reversed. He put the hinges opposite the wet wall and the gap of the swinging door and fixed panel is right at the downpour so water escaping is inevitable. Second, the silicone door sweep on the bottom of the swinging door was inadequately placed and we would have benefited from additional sweeps on the sides. When I called him to tell him this, he said it was because the curb angled at the wrong slope. I told him this was not the case (although it should slope towards the drain, it's level) and wanted him to at least take a look. He said it would be additional money for a barrier which was not problem, but I don't know why it wasn't included the first time. We scheduled him to come take a look, but the day of, he called to reschedule. The second time, the same thing happened. On the third attempt, he didn't even bother to call, he just didn't show up. My husband took the bottom sweep and moved it lower which improved it, but it still comes up a little short. I would not recommend him at all. When a problem occurs, you fix it. And not showing up?? I had called several companies to get a quote for a shower door and in an effort to be cost conscious decided to give All Cities Glass a try. I wish I had paid more and used any other company. The owner was friendly when he came out for the quote and is really great at "selling" his company and being a convincing salesperson. After he gave me a quote I requested a morning appointment and he said sure and gave me a tentative date for the workers to come out and said that I would hear from someone confirming. I didn't hear from anyone and when I called I was told that the workers couldn't go out until later in the day. When I told them that I could only do a morning appointment they told me that another appointment time wasn't possible for several days so I cancelled my plans so that I could actually use my shower. When the workers came they chipped my bathroom ceiling with the glass sheet they carried in and didn't say anything. I didn't see it until after they left but knew it was them because I had just remodeled my bathroom and it was in pristine condition. Also, they used a glossy sealant along the edges of the glass and my travertine tile walls and the sealant is uneven and I notice it every time I go into my bathroom. Lastly, the glass swing shower door was placed slightly lopsided and catches when I open and close it. I'm really proud of all the remodeling I've done to my bathroom but honestly hate the glass shower door and my entire experience with All Cities Glass. People have asked me for recommendations because they're remodeling and I tell them to not use this company. Don't take the chance! There's a reason why they charge less than other companies. We called this company based on their past Yelp reviews. Jorge came out, estimated the work and quoted a price for the frame-less shower door that we wanted. When I inquired about keeping our current threshold, Jorge assured me that his installers would clean up the part, apply new silicone, then reinstall the same part. However, the installers told me that they couldn't perform this task since they had no silicone remover nor tools to perform this step. I took the part and in less than 1 minute I'd scraped the old silicone off. What shower door installers aren't prepared to remove old silicone??? I finally agreed to accept the installation of a new threshold and the 2 installers completed their work. That being said, the new door is a welcome relief from our old one. Had frameless shower unit with this company and they did not apply proper seal on edge of unit which has caused leaks in corner and damaged molding right outside of the shower. Has been a headache to deal with for over 5 years. Called the company 6 months after installing it and someone came out and said everything looks fine. Problem persisted for over 2 more years, had to do molding 3 different times because of water damage, upon contacting them they said for just coming to look at their work again would charge a service fee along with another fee for fixing it. My parents live in Newport and they needed a wind wall (glass fence) fixed after it mysteriously shattered. After some searching and calling a few places (most didn't answer) I came across Jorge. Just had my frameless shower door installed yesterday. The installers were very careful with the new hinges because of an epoxy finish that was completed one week earlier. Jorge measured the space one week earlier and then arranged the installation date for Friday. I like that I can open the door from both directions and that the work was completed on time with a good clean up at the end.
