I arrived early ( they were there) screened me, took my temperature and gave sanitizer. My X-ray was taken and now Saturday off can be enjoyed. The co pays we're paid on their website for "no contact" and I am so thankful they are still consistent, care and the office is extremely clean. The blonde lady nurse was nice enough to hold my hand when I received the numbing for my tooth, she was like a " mom" and talked to me - it was calming and the dr reassured me for my treatments. I am grateful by this is the way a dentist visit should be not like a larger place, the parking was ample. Accessible from the 135 expressway and the northern state pkwy.

Dr. Peritore was so gracious, caring and warm. He has a gentle hand and stopped and questioned me during the procedure to see if I was doing ok. He washed away the years of fear I always had. There were no other patients there, yet it was clear they were rushing. I was told I needed three fillings, so I made an appointment to come back to get them. When I came for my second appointment to get the fillings, I was told that I actually might need a root canal and that my insurance wasn't going to cover it. I was urged by the receptionist to make the decision right then and there, and when I told her I wasn't going to be making the decision that day and that I needed a second opinion, she became extremely rude and told me the decision needed to be made quickly. I decided I would get the two fillings that same day and get a second opinion on the possible root canal. When Dr. Michaels injected the novocaine, he accidentally injected it into an artery. While waiting for it to kick in, I became extremely shaky and dizzy and felt as though I couldn't breathe. They tried to tell me I was just nervous for the procedure, but when I explained that I've never been nervous about a dental procedure before, they became defensive and even more rude and nasty. I left without getting the fillings and decided to go to a very reputable dentist for his opinion. I ended up only needing one filling and no root canals. Dr. Michaels and his staff are rude, nasty scammers. STAY AWAY

I've had the most complicated dental history in the world - overcrowding, crooked teeth, a missing tooth and lack of teeth falling out when I was younger. I had to go for several extractions but they were painless and easy - and I was 10!!!! I feel like getting your teeth pulled out is a huge reason to avoid a dentist at a young age but I didn't even care - and I was a wimp as a kid... I still am. The dental aides are a bit timid, but they're also learning. Whichever aides I've met were students in dental school, or someone looking to gain experience in the field. Also - I have a small mouth and tend not to bite the way I should for a proper x-ray...that's not always the aide's fault - it's mine so I'm sure other patients don't bite the way they should, which results in poor X-rays. As for print outs, just ask. When I had my braces, dr. Jhaveri was in constant contact with my orthodontist to make sure my teeth were straightening themselves out, and making room for an implant. I needed oral surgery for a dental implant, and the surgeon I originally went to wasn't able to confidently say he'd do the surgery. When I came back to my dentist to let him know, he immediately gave me 2-3 other oral surgeons (mostly in queens) and told me if I'd have to pay out of pocket for all/some depending on the doctor. The surgeon he recommended me to did a great job and then Dr. Jhaveri was able to create my crown and match it with my teeth.

I filed a complaint with the state as I am not the only one this has happened to. They've reached out to an attorney to collect an outstanding $150 after I already paid over $600 for scans they insisted on doing and was told would be covered. This attorney has been aggressively trying to contact me by reaching out to my place of work and family members... over a bill of $150. I will be paying the bill in order to put this matter to bed and it seems Peter Pruden needs this $150 way more than I do.

I also felt like his father the dentist was very dismissive after his initial friendliness- and then the younger dentist I ended up liking left. I haven't been there since way before the pandemic, but I didn't want to write a negative review while I was still a patient. Also- I signed a waiver/form about the implant surgery so...and thank God the feeling mostly came back. Also I'm sure they cover many different ranges of insurances. And the location is close to Bedford Av. Dr Butter is amazing as a dentist and very dedicated to helping the patients out. Like if Beyoncé were a dentist, it would be Dr Butter. Would 100000000000% trust her with my life. Definitely come through.
