I allowed him to do two implants on me which ended up failing and he told me he would refund me and never did. One "failed" and one was placed incorrectly! He owes me over $11,000. Mind you he owes me that much but put me into collections during covid over a $200 invoice Dr. Jacobson is extremely untrustworthy. He will act like a friend but he's not. He just wants to charge you and your insurance as much as possible and provide subpar dentistry. The only thing keeping that place afloat is the wonderful dental hygenist and the receptionist. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR TEETH AND MONEY.

I've had the most complicated dental history in the world - overcrowding, crooked teeth, a missing tooth and lack of teeth falling out when I was younger. I had to go for several extractions but they were painless and easy - and I was 10!!!! I feel like getting your teeth pulled out is a huge reason to avoid a dentist at a young age but I didn't even care - and I was a wimp as a kid... I still am. The dental aides are a bit timid, but they're also learning. Whichever aides I've met were students in dental school, or someone looking to gain experience in the field. Also - I have a small mouth and tend not to bite the way I should for a proper x-ray...that's not always the aide's fault - it's mine so I'm sure other patients don't bite the way they should, which results in poor X-rays. As for print outs, just ask. When I had my braces, dr. Jhaveri was in constant contact with my orthodontist to make sure my teeth were straightening themselves out, and making room for an implant. I needed oral surgery for a dental implant, and the surgeon I originally went to wasn't able to confidently say he'd do the surgery. When I came back to my dentist to let him know, he immediately gave me 2-3 other oral surgeons (mostly in queens) and told me if I'd have to pay out of pocket for all/some depending on the doctor. The surgeon he recommended me to did a great job and then Dr. Jhaveri was able to create my crown and match it with my teeth.

He never pushed procedures that he didn't think were absolutely needed. In fact, he would suggest to not do quick fix procedures/immediate work which I appreciate. I arrived early ( they were there) screened me, took my temperature and gave sanitizer. My X-ray was taken and now Saturday off can be enjoyed. The co pays we're paid on their website for "no contact" and I am so thankful they are still consistent, care and the office is extremely clean. The blonde lady nurse was nice enough to hold my hand when I received the numbing for my tooth, she was like a " mom" and talked to me - it was calming and the dr reassured me for my treatments. Called on 1/26/23 close to 1 pm inquiring about costs of a root canal, crown, materials used, etc…read more The receptionist was extremely off-putting. Would not give any detail on standard costs saying it was "company policy not to give prices by phone". No other dental practice I have encountered denied giving a rough idea of range of cost. I asked what a crown would cost on a back molar and told "it depends. Each case varies". This is totally unhelpful, shows a lack of transparency and not true. I provided all the details necessary and still pushed to make a consultation (which of course is just a sleazy business tactic to lock the customer into paying and investing their effort, time). Horrible business etiquette. Very unprofessional staff.
