It's been over a year since my elderly dog (15) passed away from end stage renal failure. We brought him in for an emergency appointment since he wasn't eating and he started coughing a lot. We were given false hope, medication and a hefty bill of over $700. My dog lived for almost another week and was very uncomfortable. We ended up rushing to find a mobile vet to come to our home to put him at rest. She had stopped eating, barely drinking water. She slept all day and night only waking to go out. I watched videos, read article, I did everything I could to make the right decision and it wasn't easy. Last week the vet said we have respid care. You'd have to take her to a hospital for fluid IV's every few days and we can give her some pills for her nausea. Are you kidding me. You just showed me her blood work she is in final stage. Absolutely not I will take her home love and pamper her. till the end The Worst What should have been a peaceful calm good bye was turned into a complete sh-t show. First the room is so cold we should have worn long johns and poor Molly was freezing and shaking. Remember she is very sick. They did have a blanket for her as she threw up on hers on the way. Second we could have been in the middle of I-5 with the amount of traffic buzzing by. The lights in the room were so bright one would have thought we were there for the typical exam. They charge enough to do better. I know I gave them $1.000 just in the past week. If this isn't bad enough they stated "we are going to take her back put a port in give her a seditive and she'll be sleepy when we bring her back". What was brought back to us was a crying gagging little pup. I said get someone in here now. Well now is different to me than it is to them. It had to be at least 7-8 minutes before the vet came in to give the last shot. Watching Molly suffer was beyond heart breaking. What should have been our time of saying good bye and we love you was spent trying to calm her down. We were put in a position to hurry her death. I'm beyond angry. After Molly passed the vet asked would you like more time with her. Are you serious I wanted time with her before she passed! There was no compassion let alone experience. Please if your fur baby is healthy find a great vet because when it's time to say good bye all the good prior appointments don't matter. It's hard enough to make the decision and then to have it turned into a nightmare leaves you with guilt. Knowing Molly suffered more at this place than the time home will haunt me for the rest of my life. read more

We have a 31/2 year old Flemish Giant Rabbit who was ill. Though regular appointments were 2 weeks out....we were able to contact early morning on urgent care Tuesday and were put on the list for evening at 5pm and was seen not long after scheduled time. Intake was awesome, Vet tech was awesome and doctor was awesome! After a full check up and xrays, and antibiotics and lotion and pain med arthritic med all explained- we were set to go home at about 7:30pm. Thanksgiving week! Then they called on Friday day after Thanksgiving to see how she was doing! The care we received from everyone there was exceptional and much appreciated. Our Rabbit is doing great! read more

Called back to schedule the shots, they told me never charted anything down that I would need to pay for new exams. Wasted my day, told me exams were on them. You know what? I've been to A LOT of veterinary clinics over the past several years (we move a lot) in order to make sure my dogs receive the best possible care and simultaneously ensure my pocketbook isn't being needlessly tapped. I did my Yelp research, cross-referenced with Nextdoor and Google comments and I feel we made a great choice. I will stay here for now. We had a pleasant, considerate, educational and worthwhile experience this afternoon at All Creatures. Parking is easy, but be careful the entrance is a little bumpy. There's a cute little fenced area outside for doggy business while you're waiting. Ample waiting area inside, too. There was one front office person doing most of the work and one that must have just started or something. Check in was efficient, nonetheless. The vet tech was super thorough and even came back to ask something he forgot. But the real quality was where it matters most- with the vet, Dr. Little. I hope that future visits, if with a different doc or him are as stellar. We were concerned about a skin lesion on our German short haired pointer. Dr. Google (yeah, yeah, yeah) had me considering a biopsy, topical meds, excision... Dr. Little patiently addressed all these concerns, duplicate questions and even addressed the other dog we brought for moral support (same breed.) LOOK HERE THOUGH: I did my part and brought records, photo evidence of the skin lesion and previous similar ones and I think that goes a long way in making for a productive visit. Dr. Little did a thorough exam and we had a chat about arthritis given some of the findings. I brought my dog in for a ear hematoma and they quoted me $1,300 dollars for surgery. I did some research prior to the visit about what options could be done. I asked about the other option which would have been antibiotic medication and I was told it wouldn't work. They would rather make me pay for most expensive thing which was surgery. Got a second opinion: that visit was $60 dollars and hematoma medication was $40.. So, it turns out the medication does work.. I won't ever come back here! read more

At about 1145, one of the technicians came out and pasted the sign on the door saying that they would be closed from 12:30 to 2 PM for lunch. Well I got a little suspicious, so I walked in there and said hey what about my cat? I've been waiting out in the parking lot for over 30 minutes! And they said oh, "we are quite busy!" Yes, well I get that. We're all busy! That doesn't mean you ignore your customers and leave them languishing in the parking lot for 45 minutes while you close up and have a party for 2 1/2 hours!! My experience with this vet was amazing up until today. My wife and I were regular customers and took our 2 cats there. We spent at least $1500, and that was fine because everyone there was always knowledgeable and transparent. Our cat was due for her next round of vaccines last week, but my wife and I had to travel out of town for a funeral (our best friend just passed away). When I called to reschedule her next round of shots, I was told they could get me in today. What they neglected to relay to me, however, is that the shot series would have to be completely redone if I rescheduled. Had this information been conveyed to me, I would have had a friend take her in. So today, they took her back for her shots and bloodwork. At this point, I had no idea that she wasn't getting her second round of shots. Only when she was returned to me did the tech relay that they gave her the first round again and that I'd have to redo the series. So to recap- they DID NOT TELL ME what shots she was getting and then proceeded to administer the first dose again without my knowledge. I wouldn't even mind this, if it weren't for the fact that these doses were about $99 each. When I brought my concerns up to the receptionist, I was completely gaslighted and told "I'm sorry you feel this way but that's why we send the paper home with you." Im sorry I didn't read the fine print while dealing with my best friend just passing, but this information should have been relayed to me on the phone. I was not given ANY compensation. I'm deeply disappointed in this clinic's lack of transparency, accommodation, and accountability. read more

Also since leaving have found out that a 4th booster shot for my new puppy ( $60 ) is unnecessary, in fact in most cases for a small dog a 3rd booster may be unnecessary?? These shots were planned and scheduled with no option given. This place is just another " let's see how much money we can get " type of place. Worse than getting a car repaired at the dealership. As I told them my lack of doing business with them won't hurt their pocketbook but maybe by spreading the word of how poor the expensive service is at every opportunity will. I've been going here for a little over a year. My dog has had monthly blood tests for a thyroid condition. They fail to communicate at nearly every level. Today I sat in the parking lot for an extra 20 minutes after our appointment waiting for a vet to tell me my dogs results. No one told me they were going to call me with the results in several days. I am very glad I called back to see if someone was going to come talk to me. They should have told me they would call when they had brought my dog out 20 minutes prior. There's also been times where they stated they would call me when my prescription is in and don't call. So I called 3 days later asking if its in and they say "its been in for 2 days, we usually dont call. You're just supposed to come in 24 hours after you call to get it filled". Just tell me that when I ask for the refill instead of saying you'll call when its in. Not to mention we've been there at least half a dozen times throughout the last year and have talked to a different vet every time. There's been no consistency in who is seeing my dog. Also, they've been rude to me because I don't want to give my credit card information over the phone. I am so excited to find a new vet for my dog. read more

We have used this Vet clinic for nearly 20 years. Unfortunately, the quality of customer service has declined since the clinic was taken over by Cara Veterinary group, which now owns eight clinics in the Seattle area. It's now all about the money now. Prices have gone way up over the past few years, we've been overcharged and our requests as pet owners ignored (like having a different vet do the surgery on our dog than we were told and requested). Find a local vet who still considers the pet and family the top concern. We will be moving our pets to a different vet. read more

I had to call their office to find out they resumed a medicine shipments with no conversation with me. Based on the experience months ago I can see why as they charge 25% more than everyone else does for medicines. We have used a few different vets in the area, we have had some bad experiences, and felt like they didn't really care about our cats. All Creatures changed our mind last night! Our 17 year old cat wasn't doing good, we were prepared for bad news. But the doctor and all of the staff were so caring and wonderful to our baby. They didn't make us wait 4 hours or more in our car, they came out to us pretty fast and took her in to get a good diagnosis. Unfortunately, our poor baby had to be put to sleep, but it was done with the utmost care and compassion. It was very hard to say goodbye, but they helped us tremendously. Had a scheduled appt. today to have my rabbits teeth trimmed. When I made the appointment I was told they would schedule additional time because of the trimming. My rabbit has had her incisors trimmed every 2 weeks but last week started drooling. A sure sign that the molars had developed a spur. That means that the spur is rubbing on her cheek or tongue causing a lot of pain. Drove 40 minutes to show up 10 minutes early for the appointment. When I phoned to tell them I was there, they said they would NOT be able to trim the teeth today. The phone voice said that the appointment was ONLY for an exam and a written estimate for the procedure. I said that I had explained very clearly that my rabbit was in a lot of pain and had been assured that the trim would be done. The person on the phone, said "well you should have received a phone call saying that procedure could not be done today." I again protested and she said in effect ... too bad ... it's not going to be done, you can have us bring your rabbit in and we'll give you an estimate. I protested saying it didn't matter the cost, she was in pain and needed to be seen. She said "well it's not going to happen." They obviously do not give a damn about the animal or the commitment they made when I scheduled the appointment. I've heard from numerous rabbit owners that this place doesn't give a damn about their pets and didn't believe it ... until now. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

This is not an exotic vet. Took my beardie in for a check up(female veterinarian), he left with multiple injuries from the vet mishandling him, and doing a procedure without my knowledge or consent. As soon as I got home I noticed his bleeding from bum and broken bleeding teeth after the appt and called. I was told it was from the stress, I insisted they ask the vet (bc what??)and then was told they did a procedure to collect stool without my permission. It was made very apparent they wanted my money after she insisted I have my beardie get multiple tests done. When all she had to do was check his urate. Had to take him to the emergency vet and go to another vet to follow up. I am beyond thankful I know my reptiles. Talked to the man in charge, who told me my beardie must have mbs or had to have fallen from a high place if his teeth broke like that and said he was not dropped there suggesting he was on the way home, but his teeth were broken and bleeding if he fell from a high place, his clavicle and jaw would have broken? Different from his teeth being broken(and bleeding) on the side she pryed his mouth open to examine...his teeth are irreplaceable. He said he will give me a free visit with the same vet. The same one who mishandled and hurt my pet, my family. I felt shamed like I had done wrong. I felt embarrassed that I even called to express myself. Disappointing. I used to advocate for this place during covid...when I couldn't go in with my beardie and see... Seeing other reviews similar makes me feel more dumb. Pls ppl do research. read more

watch out! check any prescription you get there. when I picked up the prescriptionto give my dog when we got home I had a feeling something was wrong so I checked the label on the container then took the bottle of medicine out and sure enough the medicine inside the container had nothing to do with the label on the outside. i called and they were very argumentative. We've been going to All Creatures for 15 years and have finally given up. About 4 weeks ago we took our old dog in for a physical to make sure she wasn't in pain or miserable as she's now blind and mostly deaf. Between blood work, anti biotics, arthritis meds and the visit we were up to about $1000, which we don't have. Oh yeah, they cancelled our initial visit and rescheduled for 3 weeks out. Now, our Kali developed incontinence over the last week or so. Now they need to see her again before prescribing and to help and even that is 2 weeks out. I'm super disappointed in their lack of empathy in helping us. We asked for just a prescription for inconvenience (they saw her recently and did a full blood screen) and they simply said no. this office supposedly offers treatment for sick chickens. I called them and offered to pay an emergency visit fee ($120) for a sick chicken. Rather than scheduling me, they called to give me phone numbers of other clinics. This chicken is getting close to dying, due to an impacted crop which is very swollen, and which is cutting off oxygen supply. Her comb and wattles have changed color to purplish, which I think is due to lack of oxygen. Every clinic I have called will not schedule an emergency visit. So now, I have to watch her slowly die. I hate every one of you sucking vets. Fuck you. Why should I ever have another chicken? read more

This clinic needs to improve the check-in/check-out process, intraoffice communication, and record-keeping. Important information is being lost in the inconsistency. A lean/6-Sigma consultant would do WONDERS for your operation! Vet A recommended surgery for my dog as well as a pre-surgery exam (on different days). The day prior to the exam, I answered both a call and an email asking how dog was doing. Seemed redundant (reworks are signs of fuzzy processes), but OK. The day of the exam, I showed up to meet with Vet B. She entered the exam room without knowing why dog was there. She recommended surgery. I informed her that his surgery was already recommended and scheduled and this appointment was supposed to be some kind of "re-check" before his surgery. The staff and vet accommodated my request to not pay for this unnecessary visit. I appreciated that. Post-surgery, I received paperwork explicitly stating that dog should return with a certain number of days and that I must schedule this exam with Vet A (his surgeon). When I went to schedule, I was told Vet A was on vacation and I either needed to wait for a few more days or schedule with a different vet. When I explained that both options were contrary to his surgical release papers, I was made to feel difficult. I scheduled with a Vet C, who heard and responded to my frustrations. I appreciated that. It took 30 minutes to pay for the final exam. Not because it was busy, but because the only desk attendant left the room to escort a vet's visiting mother & baby upstairs. She also took a cry break after a dog was brought in to be put-down. (Yes, it's awful, but there is still work to do!) For my dog's single ailment, I saw 3 different vets and there was no communication between any of them. read more

Extremely compassionate people! I am a hedgehog owner and while I don't have many options for vet care, I would still highly recommend this place. They were upfront with the costs, clearly explained what we were going to be doing for my beloved pet and then able to help me with difficult choices. I knew going into my most recent visit that it wasn't the best outlook but they were super helpful through a really bad day. They kept me updated throughout the day of care and didn't mind me calling to check up. They also helped support me through the entire end of life decision process. read more

I took my at least 14 year old little Maltese to check on her recovery progress. We had been here before with our rescue bird who has done very nicely since thanks to Dr. Little, an excellent veterinarian in this facility. Encouraged by his professionalism, graciousness, genuine interest in animals and reasonable cost, I decided to bring my dog here as well. Unfortunately, this time we were seen by Krueger, who one could say is the perfect opposite of Dr. Little. My Maltese is a rescue dog who was damaged enough while lost to never quite recover from her ordeal. Her teeth were mostly rotted, she was severely malnourished and was almost dead. We spent close to $2000 trying to get her to survive and this was cheap due to her condition. This hospital is not in this area, unfortunately. My dog developed an early cataract in her right eye about 3 years ago and now is completely blind in that eye. She was diagnosed with severe dry eye about 6 months ago which causes it to ooze and swell up. She has been under medication since and does great on it. We were at All Creatures to check on her progress in recovery and renew her prescription. Dr. Krueger barely looked at her, never mentioned the cataract or dry eye. Instead, she went straight to a possible glaucoma condition which would be extremely costly to treat and wanted to do expensive tests to find out if that was the problem. She strategically mentioned, at that point, that glaucoma is extremely painful to the dog in an effort that seemed like guiltying . She looked at my dog's teeth and made a very unprofessional face of disgust. She looked surprised when I mentioned my dog had a cataract in the eye and had already been diagnosed with dry eye. I strongly advise anyone to avoid her and request Dr. Little if this location is convenient for you, save yourself from unnecessary worries and not waste your money on costly and unnecessary treatments. I was sent home with the steroids necessary to keep the inflammation down, which she was already getting and no antibiotics, which she was also getting, to keep the oozing under control. The oozing is back, so I made an appointment with our regular vet to get the antibiotics now. read more

I don't recommend them. I believe they want your money not your animals best interest. We took our dogs here for a while now, and it was always more money more money. A couple weeks ago my dog wasn't eating and not herself so we brought her in, they did X-rays they said maybe gas. She didn't get better so we did blood work. Nothing. They recommended gas x and antibiotics.. She died in her sleep a week later. No answers nothing from them. We asked the dr to call us and when she did she had nothing to say; barely an "I'm sorry." I refuse to ever go back, and I will not recommend them to anyone. I don't care the cost, but I wish and regret that I didn't get a second or third opinion. Maybe I would still have my best friend. My wife and I have been using All Creatures for over 9 years and today there actions were deplorable. We currently travel 47 miles each way to take our 3 pets for care and as you might imagine have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with them.We called at 11:40 to say we were running late for one of our dogs appointment and spoke with one of the vet techs and was informed as long as we were not more than 15 minutes past our Noon appointment we would still be seen. We arrived at 12:15 and called in to inform them we were there when a different female vet tech told us we were late and would need to reschedule. I asked to speak with the doctor as we had driven so far and had been clients for the facility for nearly 10 years. We were placed on hold and after about 13-14 minutes the woman informed us that they would see us but we would have to pay the "emergency rate" of an additional $150.00 . All of this when it was their vet tech whom informed us we would be seen. There was 3 cars in their parking area when we arrived and one left while we were on hold. I would warn you that they do not value your business nor the well being of your pet(s)! They have lost a loyal patron. Poor choice! read more

Dr. Kathryn Krueger shows the most compassion I have ever seen in any vet, and I have moved around a lot so I have had experience with tons of vets. My 16-17 yr old Bichon with severe heart disease was getting worse and worse until I could watch him suffer no longer. I had already taken him there a couple of times last year for heart med refills. When I took him back in April because he was getting worse and not eating or taking any pills, I got to talk extensively with one of the vet assistants, Anastasia Massie. She was a wealth of knowledge and spent a great deal of time talking to me and listening to me. Which was a huge change from another recent experience I had at another place where the vets could not waste their time even talking to their clients. I learned a lot from her that day that will continue to help me in the future. Unfortunately, my dog's health still did not improve and I had to face the reality of saying goodbye forever. I couldnt continue to watch him suffer dying slowly. Dr. Krueger even still took the time to speak with me a great deal in order the make sure it was the right time. So I said goodbye and about a week later received a card from Dr. Krueger with a personal handwritten note of comfort. It was so very thoughtful.
