I am a really protective DOG MOM and I have now had 2 wonderful experiences with all creatures vet center! From the front desk to the vet techs to the doctors you and your pet will get the BEST care - I have experienced Emergency critical care with a pet coming in with CPR in progress to just routine care on my other dog And both experiences were treated with the staff giving me fair options on pricing as well as avenues for care for my guys!!! They are BOTH part of our family and both are still living their BEST lives due in part to these fantastic people!! 2 thumbs & 4 paws way up you cant go wrong here!!!

****Please read my updates with previous review as this veterinarian has made false statements about my review, and therefore we will be now be sending our own formal complaint for investigation to the state attorney general for a separate formal investigation **See previous investigation information of this vet clinic in my first review with the very inappropriate response from the staff, which I will be reporting to Yelp.**** Please also see photos submitted as just a small sample of the proof of the All Creatures staff handling our kitten which we did adopt through their staff member Sarah Reyes on their premises, while she was an employee here in October 2015. It makes zero difference when the offense happened and we have every right to post a review when we see fit. The photos are of our kitten, "Peanut" in this veterinarian's Newhall location on Lyons avenue. We were informed of the state attorney general's investigation only last fall. Our kitten was advertised for adoption on a facebook page and was kept at this veterinary office for treatment until i came to pick him up october 11, 2015. i don't know the "set up" of the adoption, nor the details, i was just told he would be cared for there until i arrived back in town from my business trip. it was none of my concern how this vet did adoptions! Peanut had an eye infection and was dehydrated and emaciated as he was found on highway 126 at 3 weeks old. The photos of him were taken on dates he received vaccinations, micro chipping and other essential care. in addition he was dropped off to sarah and other staff for declawing and neutering during christmas 2015 the week of our honeymoon. he was only supposed to be there one week until we returned! it took almost a month to get him back! We were never informed that he had to be taken out of scv to palmdale/lancaster for surgery and he was taken without our permission to avoid the legal issues pertaining to declawing cats, which we were unaware of. he was also taken the day of our return from vacation when he was supposed to be coming home. Our kitten suffered needlessly with this extended stay at this vet, being taken miles away from us with substandard care and traumatizing him worse than he already was. the only reason he was at this vet was for what should have been a less traumatic experience during our honeymoon with people we thought he would feel safer with because they were familiar to him. Peanut ended up with an infection and he was extremely upset upon returning home and had extensive behavior problems after his return to us. We have the contract for this service and it is slanderous to state we are not clients and accuse us of harassment when we are legally entitled to voice our review of this incompetent veterinarian and staff on Yelp, which is the appropriate medium to do so....please also see my husband's newly posted review. The response by this vet has upset him as well, because he was in attendance at all of the appointments and Peanut is his favorite cat. We are no longer clients and would never set foot in here again with any pet because the last time we took Peanut to this vet he peed all over himself in abject terror, and the staff handled his last visit horribly. Since that time, has been literally impossible to take to any vet, and can only receive minimal in-home vet care. My regret is that we were not part of the state attorney general's initial investigation of this vet. Had we known about it earlier, we would have submitted our complaint then. But now since previous views of my post "marked useful" have been erased, and this practice's staff is rudely denying the thousands of dollars we spent here on boarding our pet and the cost of botched surgeries and undue stress to our cat in addition to calling us liars etc., by choosing to deny the harm they did to our cat on top of slandering our name I feel compelled to ensure our complaint is thoroughly investigated by the state attorney.

first i looked at their 3 stars review and i thought they cant be good but my puppy had an emergency so i had to rush him to this hospital since it was the nearest ! and I AM Amazed :) ! Such lovely people and all the good vibes! :) From the moment I spoke to Emilia on the phone I just knew taking my dog here would be great! And it was! Very kind and professional people who actually love animals! Looking forward to bringing my other doggies for a check up clean so he can see his friends again !

Please Read: Do not take your pet here if there is a critical emergency. My dog was dying in my arms and I rushed her to this Clinic. I banged on the door requesting for help. The first words the employee told me was "I'm sorry we cannot help you." I was frustrated, and devastated that an EMERGENCY CLINIC had no doctors available. So what's the point of being open 24 hours then. My dog died in my arms in front of this clinic... they didn't even bother offering a room inside for me to mourn in privacy. They just watched me fall to the floor crying in public with bystanders around. Instead, they told me to go to another hospital 10 minutes away that's already closed after my dog had passed. (Pinnacle Veterinary Center) Save your pets life. Don't be in my position and go to this clinic. Find another one. Miss you, Boba Mama. Your legacy will forever continue~

I took my 17 year old senior dog in for her annual wellness exam. The entire staff including the doctor are all patient & caring. Super friendly & took great, gentle care of my little older lady dog. I recommend All Creatures Veterinary Center.

My dog was bitten my a baby rattlesnake and I wasn't home when it happened. He wasn't taken to the vet until 4 hours later which is a long time. He was not in good shape when we got there and the receptionist met me out front and rushed him back immediately. They were absolutely amazing. I'm lucky to say he survived and recovered extremely quickly thanks to there care. I will be forever grateful for all of them at All Creatures. Erica in the office was so sweet and comforting to me. I recommend them to everyone. It wasn't horribly expensive either considering it was after hours and an emergency. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Dexter, the patient, thanks you very much, Thank you Heather Iniguez

Coco waiting for her appointment, front desk was great with assistance as well as the help with the care we needed.

I just want to start off this review by saying this is by far the best vet clinic in Santa Clarita I myself have been too. Having a dog with many health issues and concerns causes me to worry about who I send my fur baby too for help and I'm extremely picky and this place has been nothing but great veterinary care from Dr. Mejia. She explains in depth what's going on and allows you to feel safe and comfortable with knowing exactly what's going on with your pet and helps you understand how you can help. This facility is extremely clean, welcoming, and a trustworthy place to bring all your pets for whatever they may need. Kallie has been nothing but helpful in my years of going to this vet and I can say I'm nothing short of happy with the intensive care they provide. Between Dr. Mejia and Kallie the Vet tech, they have always made me feel comfortable and safe bringing both of my animals there and watching Kallie with my dogs + all the other animals just goes to show what type of clinic it is with how gentle, kind, and patient she and the doctors are! A 10/10 place I highly recommend

I always love the staff here! When ever we have an urgent matter, they always fit us in. They love on our babies, and treat them so well! Bug bite treated and on the road to recovery.

We've been going to All Creatures for the past 7 years for shots, grooming, and to put one of our dogs down due to old age. On 02/16, Dr. Siegel and staff neutered and microchipped our 10 month old, Maze. From start to finish, they answered all my questions and made me feel at ease! Dr. Siegel called me when he was done to let me know, all went well, and Jackie followed up the day after to make sure Maze was doing well! Our bill was $680, and Maze hasn't slowed down or missed a beat since his surgery. To us, it was worth every penny! Thank you, All Creatures! We appreciate you!!

Initially due to an ear infection after having her home for a week. (I do use an online vet service for the more milder things.) The ear infection was rough, but she was taken care of. I established care here because I wanted to have a vet I can have for her for more serious concerns. Well, about 10 months later she got a spider bite. It was right above her eye and it was swollen and crusty. I called AMC and they fit her in the next day. Again, staff was great and took care of her, they assured me she would recover no problems and they were right. Overall a good experiences and I plan to continue to bring my furbaby to AMC. 4/5 due to cost, I was taken aback when her follow up visit came with a hefty fee and I assumed the initial fee included the follow up. I take accountability for not asking ahead but I also feel like transparency is key and it would have been nice to know full cost ahead of time knowing I had to have a follow up visit.

I've definitely had that experience at other vets. Every interaction I've had with Dr. Dewey has felt genuine, and I always leave feeling very confident in her knowledge and judgment. You can tell she really cares about figuring out what's actually going on and making the right diagnosis without immediately throwing everything but the kitchen sink at the animal. The staff is also always extremely friendly, and the facility itself is clean, new, and really nice. And lastly, the pricing is very reasonable, especially compared to some of the other vets in the area. I feel like I'm getting better care without paying more for it. Santa Clarita Animal Hospital - Dr. Brink, owner of Santa Clarita Animal Hospital

    Santa Clarita Animal Hospital

HIGHLY RECOMMEND -- Amazing, compassionate, and fair veterinary care!…read more My cat recently developed symptoms of an upset GI tract, and I called early in the morning to check availability. They were able to see her the same day, which immediately relieved so much stress. Their later office hours were a huge blessing--especially compared to emergency clinics that easily charge three times as much. We arrived for our 5:30 appointment (they close at 8), and even with their day almost over, the entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Dr. Brink was our veterinarian, and she listened carefully as I explained what had been happening. She immediately began narrowing down the possible issues and communicated every step clearly. Before doing anything, they brought in a full cost itemization and explained each item in detail, answering every single question I had. The pricing here is beyond fair--and transparent. While we were discussing everything, my cat had an accident in the exam room, and the staff insisted I didn't clean it and moved us to a fresh room without hesitation. My girl is extremely fearful, so sedation was difficult. Dr. Brink and her team worked tirelessly to help her, and even though we couldn't complete the tests that evening, they still sent us home with medications to treat her GI symptoms. They also discovered an ear infection during the exam and provided treatment for that too. I came in with one problem, and they sent us home with answers I didn't even know we needed--this alone impressed me so much. They made arrangements for my cat to return the next morning for another sedation attempt (for bloodwork and an IV). When I came in around 1pm to check on her, another doctor (not sure of her name, but she was pregnant and so kind) took the time to personally reassure me that my girl was doing great. Before sedating her again, they even called to confirm the full treatment plan--another huge green flag. Less than an hour later, they called to tell me everything had gone smoothly and her blood panel was already complete. They even cleaned my cat's ears out as she was sedated so I could easily apply her medicated drops. I have NOTHING but positive things to say about this veterinary hospital. The entire team is compassionate, patient, and truly dedicated. Thank you all for treating my spicy, demonic little goblin with so much love and care. You've earned a lifelong client! It's been about 3 hours since we left the clinic and my girl is purring, eating, drinking, and using the restroom all on her own! Already feeling so much better than the day we came in. Odessa sends her love too!

This vet has only improved since Dr brink took over and I am certain things will continue to improve. We had already seen improvements since she took over I do wish they had some sort of emergency program where you could get seen possibly on an off day if someone was available. I know that would be hard but we had an emergency on a Sunday and had to take Maysie elsewhere and we received decent care where we went but this doesn't replace the trust you have in your regular vet I was able to get her seen on Monday here which was awesome so we could get confirmation on some things from someone we trusted I feel the care provided by Dr Brink towards the end of Maysies life allowed us to spend a little more time together I can't imagine working at a vet and everyone there was so great - even going back to when we first got mays. While we were traveling, our 6-pound Maltese suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction after a bee sting. Within minutes he was vomiting, had lost control of his bowels, was breathing rapidly, became weak and disoriented, and looked like he was slipping away. It was one of the most terrifying experiences our family has ever faced. The moment we arrived, panicked and desperate, although they are not an emergency clinic, they helped us. After the Dr. said he could see our dog, everyone acted immediately. Our dog was taken back without time wasted, and the entire team worked quickly while keeping us informed every step of the way. Dr. Moran was calm, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. His confidence and expertise gave us hope when we needed it most. The veterinary nurses and staff were wonderful--kind, attentive, and excellent at communicating throughout the entire process. The front desk team was equally amazing, showing genuine compassion and making an incredibly stressful situation a little easier. The care didn't end when we left the office. Receiving a personal phone call a few days later to check on our little guy and make sure he was continuing to recover meant so much to our family. That level of kindness and dedication is something you rarely experience, and it speaks volumes about how much they truly care about their patients. Because of the incredible care we received, our beloved dog is still with us today. If you're looking for a veterinary office that combines exceptional medical care with genuine compassion, this is the place. Thank you all for giving our little boy a second chance at life. For starters, when the vet tech asked me to place my dog on the scale I noticed that there was a huge puddle of urine on it. Yuck! I asked her to clean it up before I'd place my dog on that scale. That's beyond unsanitary! Then when we got to the exam room, that also looked unsanitary! The mat on the exam table had what looked like dried urine stains and nothing smelled clean or sanitized. Really gross and now I'm worried that my dog could have been exposed to something since it's likely nothing in that exam room had been cleaned. I should have left right then and there, and wish I had because things didn't get any better. The vet took forever to come into the room. I was only there to get my dog vaccine boosters but felt they were trying to evaluate and look for random diagnosis. They also were pushy about heart worm testing and charged an arm and a leg for core vaccines. Much more than any place I've ever been. It felt very scammy. And when checking out and paying the hefty bill the receptionists weren't very friendly. Honestly, the whole place just had a bad vibe. I wish I never took my pet here. I don't plan on bringing my pet here ever again and I feel very upset that I trusted bringing her here in the first place. I can't understand how anyone gives this place a positive review. My experience was bad!!

Unfortunately, Golden State Vet closed shortly after, but we were notified that our records were being transferred to Stevenson Ranch Veterinary Center. Simply out of convenience, we started going elsewhere. Fast forward years later we noticed a lump under Percy's jaw. I had to bring him back to Dr. Pope's office. I called SRVC who got him in on the same day with Dr. Chandler. As a very worried pet Mom, everyone was so sweet and made sure I was informed at every step of his care. Dr. Chandler was awesome. After trying to aspirate the area with a needle, she determined it was most likely an abscess from an infection. He was prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. The Vet Assistant went over the instructions in detail. I then got a call a few days later to make sure the meds were working, and Percy was doing well. Fantastic experience -- From this point on, Percy and Maggie will only go to SRVC.

My biggest concern with Stevenson Ranch Veterinary Center is not even the dental procedure itself…read more It is how the owner/CEO, Dr. Lisa Pope-Moore, responded when I asked reasonable questions afterward. My dog, Sora, underwent a dental procedure under general anesthesia on 8/27. She has been anesthetized many times before and always recovered without difficulty. This time, even though she was at SRVC for more than 4 hrs after extubation, she came home profoundly disoriented and poorly coordinated. She couldn't navigate a short distance back to our home and had to be carried. Hours later she was still markedly impaired and wouldn't eat. She also smelled strongly of urine and ammonia. On closer inspection I realized her entire hindquarters were soiled with urine. We had to give her a bath late that night despite her condition. I had a really busy week due to multiple root canals and work, but on 8/30 I reviewed the records and sent SRVC a detailed email asking about the procedure. Among other things, I asked about two low blood-pressure readings in the anesthesia record, what happened after staff took her outside and she would not urinate, what could account for her difficult recovery, and what should be done next time. SRVC itself had called me on 8/28 after the procedure and invited any "questions, comments, problems or concerns." Screenshot of voicemail attached. So I was stunned by Dr. Pope's response. Instead of just answering my questions, on 9/1 Dr. Pope gave largely generalized explanations, emphasized the practice's AAHA accreditation and confidence in its staff, and then concluded that I "lack trust" in the practice and told me to find a different vet lol. She also said animals sometimes don't pee after a procedure--but I didn't ask why Sora didn't pee. I asked why she was sent home covered in urine and why the record didn't reflect anything about the fact that she wouldn't urinate, what they did about it, and whether she soiled herself. Screenshot of part of Pope's 9/1 email is attached. When I objected to the nonresponse and asked again for direct answers, Dr. Pope did give more specific info, but still didn't answer questions about the urine. Her 9/2 reply made the BP record more concerning: Systolic readings were 128 at 9:30, 82 at 9:55, 64 at 10:10, and 92 at 10:30. Dr. Pope said the cuff slipped at 64 and BP improved after repositioning, but there is no documented immediate recheck. The next reading is 20 mins later. It also doesn't explain the low 82 reading 15 mins earlier. With these gaps, the record doesn't show when Sora became hypotensive or how long it lasted. She also told me that my original email had an "accusatory tone" and suggested that I ignored SRVC's efforts to get info from me and chose "instead" to request Sora's records. Part of her 9/2 email is attached. That chronology is demonstrably wrong: All the correspondence is timestamped. I requested Sora's records on 8/27 at 4:34pm before Sora was even picked up from the clinic by my husband at 5pm, so it couldn't have been "instead" of responding to SRVC's post-op calls the next day. My 8/27 email is attached. My email asks that the records be sent to her oncologist and to me to submit to insurance. SRVC didn't send the records to me until about 4pm on Friday, 8/28. Then 8/29 and 8/30 were the weekend. I filed the insurance claim on 8/29 and sent SRVC my detailed email on 8/30. On 8/31, I returned SRVC's AM call within 3 minutes. I also followed up again via email that night when they never called back. My 8/31 email is attached. I have longstanding relationships with Sora's regular vets and specialists and routinely ask detailed questions about her care. I've never had a vet treat questions about her medical care as evidence that the relationship itself should end. Pet owners should be able to say, "My animal had an unusual recovery; please explain what happened," without the inquiry itself becoming the problem. Obviously dogs can't speak up for themselves. It's our job to be informed and advocate for them. Dr. Pope ultimately invited independent review and referred the matter to SRVC's insurance carrier. So I submitted medical records and correspondence to the CA Veterinary Medical Board. Dr. Pope wasn't even the treating veterinarian. Dr. Fox was, and I never had a chance to talk to him about the concerns before Dr. Pope took over the response and ended the relationship. The matter has now progressed to a board complaint involving the care he provided, which is unfortunate. Whatever the board ultimately concludes about the medical care, the way my questions were handled destroyed my confidence in this practice. I would not return. I do, however, highly recommend these vets: Montrose Pet Hospital and TrueCare AKA BluePearl Pet Hospital. If anyone wants to review the full correspondence or records mentioned here, I'd be happy to share more info. Here's also a photo of my baby Sora.

Positive experience w/VEG starting w/my call last night. They put me through to the Vet on the…read morephone which was extremely generous. Yesterday, Saturday we tried VMSG / closed & Horizon: Unable to be seen due to capacity limits. Today drove the hour to Stevenson Ranch. Due to just one Vet available we did have to wait a significant time, however staff is very friendly & attentive, checking back w/us as to why the delay, which is very considerate. Faculty is clean, snacks & coffee / water for the pet parents as you wait. Emergency is always pricey, although we talked out the options & made a comfortable choice for our girl & our wallet. Highly recommend...again, the staff, chef's kiss

I came here at night after my kitty got into a lily plant & I was so glad I did…read more as soon as I met dr. ana I knew I was in good hands. right away I felt at ease with the situation knowing they would be able to help him. when she told me they could make me a bed so I could spend the night with him I almost cried. my kitty has been in vets/hospitals before and the worst part is always having to leave without my baby. I ended up calling out of work to stay with him the whole time & during his stay he was treated so well. he had his own doctor & nurse, they would check on him every couple of hours or so and always took care of anything he needed. my kitty has a history of having a uti & wasn't peeing for the first 12 hours. I wasn't too concerned because he does that when he's in a new environment naturally but different nurses were so attentive with checking his bladder some even did quick ultrasounds. It is expensive but so is every other emergency hospital & my bill was actually the same price as when he was in a different hospital a few years before & there I was only able to visit him for 30 minutes. I think being able to stay with him the whole time made all the difference for me & my kitty too. I know he would've been stressed being left alone in a cage for almost 2 days and that could've affected his recovery. thank you to everyone who was so sweet to him giving him love and attention. he literally was purring his whole time here & he was actually a little upset to leave.
