Horrible service. Had a puppy with diarrhea and was told to make an appt for the following day since it wasn't an "emergency". Arrived to the appt 15 min early to fill out paperwork was told someone would be right out to test the puppy. Almost an hour later waiting outside in a hot car, I call because no updates or "wait time given" they say "oh well your appointment time doesn't mean anything and since we are "an emergency vet center your wait is four hours." Unbelievable! Drove 45 min to get to this place and was NEVER informed that appointment times were meaningless! I would not have scheduled an appointment if I knew that "appointments " were meaningless. Will never come to this place and would not recommend. To update. The issue I have is that they do not tell you that "Your appointment time" maybe bumped for a more critical pt. This is what I take issue with! It makes the appointment time superfluous. I have yet to have a bad experience here. My pup has been coming here since his first shots and I've always been treated fairly. When I first arrived I spoke with someone at the front desk; was a little too loud and too pushy. However my overall experience turned out great thanks to Garrett. He was so kind and gentle with my dog, and very informing towards me and about what my dog did and didn't need. He even waited with my pup outside while I was coming back for him! WARNING! DO NOT COME HERE IF IT IS AN ABSOLUTE EMERGENCY! My kitten was having a life-threatening emergency where she was having difficulty breathing and aggressively vomiting. I called this vet when I arrived outside and prompted that this was a "life-threatening emergency". The receptionist ignored my prompt and proceeded to put me on hold. I had been on hold for so long that I was able to look up another emergency vet, talk to them, and rush over there for medical assistance. Nobody ever came back to the phone line to check on us. Thank God I didn't decide to wait for them because who knows if my kitten would've received the help she needed in time. Advice to the owners: If someone presses "0" for a Life-Threatening Emergency. Had to bring my dog here for an after-hours emergency, the only reason they get an actual star is because the receptionist was extremely nice. The doctors here deserve zero stars. I was told that my dog's teeth were "absolutely rotten" and that she would need most, if not all of her teeth pulled. This was not related in any way to why she was brought in mind you, but I was devastated because her teeth had been checked by her regular vet 3 months prior and they were only a 2 grade dental. They kept my dog overnight and said they would call me in the morning, they did not. They also said I could call any time and get updates on how she was doing. I had to call 4 times to get someone to give me an actual update. I'm going on almost 24 hours of not knowing what is happening with my dog. The day after I brought her home she went to her regular vet for a follow up and the vet confirmed that my dog's teeth are in fact not "absolutely rotten" and are only a grade 2 dental, no teeth need to come out. I can't even imagine if I had let them pull out all of her teeth. I would never bring either of my dogs here ever again, even in an emergency. Find a place that actually CARES about your pets and not how much money they are making off of you, especially in an already emotional situation. read more

I only came here due to an emergency. I should've wrote a review years ago when my last dog died as a result of the medication prescribed. Unfortunately I was away for work at the time and didn't have the means to file a lawsuit. This vet is the WORST and I had yet another awful experience. Again, I only came due to an emergency and they were the only vet accepting animals. I should've left the second the first girl threw paperwork into my hands and shut the door not even caring about what was going on. Both of the girls working had a major attitude problem and acted like they didn't want to be there. It was clear neither of the girls working cared about any animal going in. They called me back in an hour, wanting $1600 more, and claimed they didn't know what was wrong, but seemed to have a full course of "treatment" for this unknown "illness." Firstly any veterinary establishment that has a sign on the front door warning you that any kind of threats of violence won't be tolerated should be a clear indication that people are not happy with the way things go down here. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of 24hour emergency vet options in this area but if you can avoid taking your pet here I strongly suggest it! From a bad several thousand dollar surgery here I'm now having to take my dog to a board certified specialized surgeon to fix what Dr. Kennedy has done. This place cares much more about money than they do about the care of your animal. When I brought my dog back to show the results 9 days after the surgery, the first thing they did was bring out an estimate of $600 just to start out to I'm sorry, fix what she has done?! I had the unfortunate duty to put my cat of 21 years to rest. Definitely wasn't happy. I called this place totally expecting them to say you will have to drop off your pet and come back for the remains. They were the nicest people in the world. When I called I asked if they were available...The did, in the nicest way, let me know they are about to take care of an emergency surgery. I let them know I had to bring in my cat for "End of life" care...They told me to bring her in, they will make time for her. All of the staff was extremely professional and did what ever they had to do to make my visit less painful. The dr. was an awesome person and talked me through everything. She made me feel at ease. I knew my cat wasn't going to be in pain anymore. She even talked to my cat as much as I did during everything. She even gave her a nice stroke on her forehead before leaving. They didn't rush me out at all. Gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye. Since I was taking my cat with me, they had to take out the IV...I noticed when I had her home and showed the dogs (let them say goodbye) They put flowers in the wrapping with her. We are grateful to ALL Creatures Veterinary Center. They helped us when no one else would. Our little tabby, Missy, suffers from feline triad disease. When she has a flair up, the only way she can receive nutrition is through a feeding tube. She needs pureed Hills Science Diet a/d wet food, available only by Rx, which must be administered every few hours. Our regular vet's office in Glendale made a huge #@%&! blunder and didn't give us enough Rx food to make it to Monday morning. Their office is closed, we're texting our vet, who won't return our urgent plea for a Rx transfer, the backup emergency vet is closed for remodeling, no vet corporately affiliated with our regular vet and seemingly, no other vet in the greater San Fernando Valley has this Rx food. We are talking about 1 single can of food! Thankfully, we found ALL Creatures Veterinary Center who, by the grace of all things good, help us get what we needed for Missy. read more

When I took my dog into All Creatures to get her teeth cleaned under anesthesia, Dr Siegel and the lead vet tech informed me that there was no reason to have my dog's teeth cleaned; they said her teeth looked very clean and white (despite her bad breath!). Not only did their honesty save my dog from unnecessarily going under anesthesia, but it also saved me a lot of money! On top of that, they recommended some over-the-counter products and other means to help control bad breath, again, without "pushing" sale(s) of their own products. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!! I took my dog here because it was the only emergency place open and it did, in fact, DISAPPOINT. I took my dog here because she had a dislocated patella; they took 2 hours to even look at the dog and then wanted to do all these injections and imaging without a diagnosis or even a differential diagnosis. When I asked what it could possible be, they said they had NO IDEA. (By the way, they wanted me to pay approximately 600 dollars without knowing what the diagnosis would be; therefore, it would be unnecessary). They wanted to do X-rays ($225), sedation for the X-ray ($175), another shot in case she vomits ($100), physical exam ($50), etc!!! Turns out, she didn't need any of the charges that they needed to do other than X-rays, which were wildly overpriced!!! All Creatures tried to rip me off and couldn't even tell me what's wrong with my dog! I immediately took my dog out of this horror zone and to another vet where they immediately took her back, relocated the patella and took x-rays (within 20 minutes) and I was done. This whole thing costed me $175 at another vet. This place is the biggest scandal!! Also, for those of you who don't know, they are under investigation and currently in a trial for murdering over 40 animals. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Our 5 month old golden was attacked by another dog that left a puncture wound just above his left eye. We called them and they were so friendly and accommodating, they brought us in and provided adequate services for a reasonable price considering it was after hours and an ER visit. The staff was the best, especially the lady at the front with orange hair. She was on top of everything and made us feel comfortable to be there. I had known about this locations prior issues with a vet who has since had his license revoked, but after coming here and seeing how they are doing things--it'll be out after hours vet location from now on! Our only choice was to drive to Lancaster or Glendale at 5pm on the Fourth of July and take our chances there. Our dog took her last breath the next morning. Would she still be with us if she was seen earlier the day before? I don't know. But I do know that it's a load of crap to tell me to come over and then not have space to even let my dog in the door. At the very minimum, we could have been told that they were near capacity so we weren't completely caught off guard standing there holding our crippled dog at their front door. read more

THIS VET CENTER IS A CIRCUS ACT. DO NOT GO HERE. Unfortunately we had to go to this center because another vet recommended this place to get a certain type of test done for our dog. We dropped off our dog not even knowing where he went and was by himself for two hours before they took him in. We don't even know if he was even cared for, taken care of or even given water. What was supposed to take 2 hours took 5 hours. UNBELIEVABLE. These assistants don't know what they're doing as we continued calling and asking for updates. They had no clue what was going on and couldn't even give us a time frame on when our dog would be done with everything. They try to sell you on more tests, x-rays, and scans, anything to get more money for them. They don't care about your animals, they just want you to say yes to everything they recommend. We said no on pretty much everything except the one test we came here for. Hopefully we even get the results after looking at previous reviews and others were saying they never received results. Paid our total with mostly cash and the rest on card. These people take your credit card back to another room and run your card? She was gone for 20 minutes! She probably could have written my card number down for all I know. She also did the same thing with another customer before us and took his credit card back in a room for 20 minutes. What is so hard about running the payment in front of me so I know you're doing correctly? What the hell is going on here?! She even asked if our dog would want to stay here for the night and THE ANSWER WAS NO. I would never let our dog stay there under the nonexistent care they had for our dog. It also seemed like they never let our dog out to go pee while waiting because after 5 hours our dog had to pee so badly! After she processed our payment, we walked out the door and realized she charged us an extra $100 on our card. At this point, we just wanted to get out of this circus and take our dog home. She was confused as she didn't know how that happened and we demanded that we get our $100 back in cash since they messed up the cash/rest on card payment. These people can't even do basic math. Awesome service! We called last minute to get a non-emergency appointment for two rescued kittens we were taking home today and was fit in within an hour. So happy to find a non-emergency vet open on a Saturday after 4pm! This vet is open 24/7 but offers competitive prices with vets that only operate during normal business hours which is a huge plus! Our visit was scheduled at 4pm, after checking in 10 minutes early we waited a bit then were taken to a room. We knew what services we needed for the kittens - SNAP test, deworming, and exam. They were seen by a tech who did the intake and discussed the concerns we had, then the vet came in and verified an upper respiratory infection in one kitten and the recommended treatment. When we agreed on the course of treatment, the tech gave us a written estimate before doing any work. When all was said and done, we eliminated some costs by choosing to opt for immediate needs instead of additional options. The prices were fair but one item (deworming medication) was more than I was comfortable paying (they wanted $49!!!) so we took that service off and will follow-up with our regular vet (who charges $18 for that medication). The staff was caring, professional, and supportive of our choices. Although this vet is not near our home, I would drive out of my way to visit again if the need arises. It happened to be a great find for us at a time when our regular vet wasn't open. Personal History and reviews and the fact that none of the local Veterinary office recommend them should of been enough, but fools be warned. I took my dog for a examination due to a leg issue. Based on my previous experience with them before I left my pet I explained my previous situations with them and also told them that none of the local vets refer to them. In fact that all recommend Access Vet in the valley for emergency care. After explaining the issues of the past and talking with the office for a bit I felt they were trustworthy and honest and cared. My previous issues was billing for services not rendered and increased amount of services that were rendered. I had fought those charges through my credit card company back when they occurred and was credited. But I feel all people deserve second chances. I received a call from the vet 4 plus hours after we dropped off the dog, but due to Covid and new practices this was expected and communicated ahead of time. The vet gave a precise and professional diagnosis of the issue on my voicemail. Unfortunately, that is where the amazing part of this ends. First, I told them cell service sucks in my hood and to please not call the cell, but home phone. Again got a good voicemail but would of preferred to have had direct contact. Second, surprise, surprise the amount was different from when I spoke to them early in the day. As I explained to them I called them and had this whole discussion earlier about their pricing being different from a precision visit and one of the issues why I haven't used them in some time. She explained that everyone knew the pricing and that I was wrong. Well since I wrote it down and made sure I was specific about the pricing I would have conceded. Now the amount isn't the issue as it wasn't a significant increase but as I explained to them this is about professional behavior and ethics. I explained again that I had a major issue sometime past and that I even had to dispute the charges from the past. The girl said that they would honor the difference and I told them great that's awesome and that's great customer service. I am than placed on hold for the authorization, and when she comes back she explains that they feel threatened and to come pick up my dog. Threatened because I called your employee out on miss given amounts and told them that this is why they have negative reviews on multiple forums, and the local vets not recommending them which I also said I would post a positive review based on her honoring what the afternoon shift had stated. Finally, we hopped in the car and drove down to get her and was handed our dog with no care, no treatment, and no pain relief which the doctor stated she needed ASAP. So I have learned a valuable lesson and will be filing a BBB complaint for the fact that they sent home an animal in distress and the bait and switch practices which seem standard. Side note: I am guessing this isn't the first time people have been in shock with their business practices since they have a huge sign posted on their door that yelling and cursing and abusing the staff will be not be tolerated. Was so Incredibly thankful they took me and my pup immediately, I wasn't sure if she ingested a poisonous plant I was trimming(didn't know it was poisonous at the time) or if it was the bee that just stung her ‍ But they let me come right away, checked her vitals to make sure they didn't need to take any immediate action while I spoke with animal poison control. Everyone in the office was so incredibly kind, even with me being a crying mess. I loved that they kept me updated on her status, and that they didn't push me to do treatments before they heard from poison control since she was doing okay. I feel like so many vets push you to do things immediately and in this case it likely just would have been stressful unnecessary treatment and would have cost me a lot more money. Forgive my bluntness but it is necessary to cut to the chase up front... bringing a pet to this location was an experience I wish I had never had the dissatisfaction of having. If you got a few minutes to kill please keep reading, if not be careful to protect your pocket book from extreme and over the top services. Here's the run down: I get there with the little feline in hand, well in a carrier. We sign in. We wait about 15 minutes. We're escorted into a patient room. 20 minutes passes by. Someone comes in, no introduction and asks why we're there, ask questions about the kitty. Age 7 years-ish, sex female, then they weigh the kitty. They leave. 20 minutes later, a technician enters and asks why we're there, asks to weigh "him" again because they didn't write down the weight the first time. We're told the doctor will be in to examine "him". I inform him it's a her. He says oh sorry I thought it was a he. The technician exits 20-25 minutes later the doctor comes in and asked why we're there and says... because "he's" a senior cat they want to do a bunch of stuff... (i.e. kitty physical). The doctor says they'll put a prescription together and come back in a moment with the overview, then the doctor leaves. 25 minutes later the technician returns with the doctors recommendation totaling over $500. Over $250 of which is the physical and stuff unrelated to the said prescription. I say, we just want to start with focusing on the treatment and we'll consider the rest at a later time. Technician leaves. 25 plus minutes later the doctor comes in and says they can do the surgery right now. I'm like wait what's this about a surgery and I just got done saying I just want to focus on the prescription treatment? The doctor said they forgot to tell me they were working on trying to coordinate a surgeon to do a more aggressive procedure which will accelerate the healing. I'm like whoa whoa whoa. I don't want to do a surgery so I'm gonna pass. The doctor said they're going to put another overview together for me to review in case I want to change my mind and then leaves the room again. 25 to 30 minutes later the technician comes back with a surgical recommendation at over $3000. I tell them look, I just want to get out of here and go with the meds. At this point they have me waiting in the lobby again for about 15 more minutes for meds. I get up and go to the reception desk and tell them I'm leaving. They ask if I still want the meds and I say NO I'm just going to get a second opinion. They charge me $50 plus for the visit and I leave. I couldn't wait to get out of there. It felt like an episode of the twilight zone. For the record, the cat has been well taken care of at an alternate veterinarian, who in fact indicated that the prescription I was previously provided would have actually made things worse. read more

You know... I want to give them a good review because I like Dr Kennedy but I just can't. Some of the techs were nice but overall we are very unhappy :( Our cat was there 2+ days and every time we spoke to a vet they had a different diagnosis. They are sooooo expensive and whenever they said a vet would call us... they didn't. We had to call ourselves every time to follow up. The night crew is grumpy (I guess cause they're working nights) and they seem very unorganized. Every time they said they'd start treatment we'd check in hours later and they had JUST started the treatment. THEN they finally told us they still weren't sure how to help him so before they could charge us for day 3 we took him home with still no improvement and a hefty bill and BAD taste in our mouth for this place. I called this place on May 12, 2020, spoke to a girl name Allison, Explain to her my situation and explain my dogs been having a couple issues that I wanted to be addressed. She had mentioned the best time to come in is after 6 PM on that day. Upon making an appointment I had showed up around 6 PM close to seven. I was told by Allison over the phone I would have to wait in my car and the doctor will take a look at it and give me the information that ended up being I have to go home and they will call me within couple hours with all the answers. Three hours rolled By I had called back in and spoke to Maricela I had explain to her I have not heard from anyone it's been three hours and I explain my dogs been sitting there and no one seen my dog she rudely replied to me sir if you don't like it you could come pick up your dog we are extremely busy . I mentioned to her I understand you're busy but it has been three hours and I was told that I would get answers. Again her only solution was if I don't like it I could come pick up my dog basically wasted three hours for nothing. Another couple hours pass by I called, this time Allison answered the phone the first girl that I initially spoke to you about the appointment. I had told Allison that her service and information she provided me was not accurate and she should've explained me better and not make me bring my dog if there were so busy today. Her reply back was I'm really sorry but we are busy with emergency pets, but if you like you could come pick up your dog keep in mind it's been six hours since I dropped off my dog. I asked for a supervisor I was like are you kidding me I did not just wait six hours for nothing. I spoke to a manager I totally forgot her name she was very nice and kind probably the nicest person there, Allison was very nice as well but she had no idea about the appointments and busyness of the clinic. She needs better education when it comes to customers making appointments and to give them proper information. I believe the manager name was Renee. She had apologized to me and mentioned that there's been an ongoing emergency surgeries and the doctor is only one on duty therefore my dog has not been seen and eventually will be Looked at. This was around 11 PM. At 1 PM I called again and spoke to the manager again yet my dog had not been seen. I got the same answers over and over if I don't like it I'm more than welcome to pick up my dog he's doing well he's in a box of shelter and will be seen as soon as possible. At this time I didn't even know what to do anymore go back to sleep or wait till they call me about my dogs info. Sadly that night nobody ever called me back and the very next day at 10 AM I had called again to check the status of my German Shepherd. I was told he had not been seen yet but he will be seen in the next hour. I was very aggravated pissed and I just wanted my dog to be seen and walk out of there and never take them back again. Sadly my dogs been going there since he was eight week puppy. But they lost my customer service for both of my pets from now on. I was finally called at 2 PM the next day stating what needs to be done with a $500 bill. Whatever the recommendations was been done by the doctor it came back negative my dog was pure healthy. Bottom line is I wasted a day and nothing was done to my dog and it was a waste of money and time. I will not recommend anyone to this place because they have no customer service they are horrible. They don't care about your pets. I understand that they were busy and they could have looked at my pet in a 20 minutes examination thats all he needed. Specially since I called 6 to 7 times and within that four hour period that shows you that if a customer is frustrated that they still don't care. And that was clearly my case. Nothing was accommodated for me Besides waiver of examination fee which I was told there was gonna be no examine fee prior. I guess that was a big lie as well or a mistake again. The doctor had recommended bloodwork and other test that was not necessary I even mentioned it but I went forward anyway. Which all came back negative if you're healthy dog. Just wasted $500 and horrible customer service and left my pet overnight. Stay away!!! read more
