He sent us home with instructions to buy famotidine over the counter, give it to my dog to reduce the high liver enzymes and bring him back in 2 weeks. I went to CVS for the medication which turned out to be Pepcid a drug to treat acid indigestion. After some internet research I found the famotidine has abslutely no effect on liver enzymes and, in fact, may harm the liver in certain circunstances. I will find a vet that is actually interested in the well being of my dog.

Less than 48 hours later, one of our dogs woke us in the middle of the night in distress. We had no choice but to see an emergency vet -- who diagnosed a severe ear infection that would have been ongoing for at least a week. When my husband called the office to understand how this was missed, the receptionist told him that Dr. Singh "doesn't check ears" at a routine wellness exam -- and that if we were unhappy, we were welcome to find another vet. So, we will be doing exactly that. The missed diagnosis was concerning enough. The dismissive response made it an easy decision.

They are not at all prompt to acknowledge customers at the counter. I've had two appointments with two different doctors- neither of whom have introduced themselves- I still don't know their names. Today's vet tech also did not introduce herself. At neither appointment has any employee talked to my cat. I find that unusual in a vet's office. The doctor today spent our appointment edging toward the door and avoiding eye-contact. It felt like I had to pull information out of her rather than having a dialog. She didn't check my cat over or touch her until I asked about something specific. While I don't fault the treatment, I do find the staff strangely impersonal. The cats who wander around are great though- I love them.
