Called on a Saturday morning just before a major snow storm, so very anxious to get it fixed and not heard back from a couple phone calls to another number. Had to have the pump in my basement bathroom pump-up tank replaced. While the job was eventually done, there were a number of problems. First, the tech misquoted the pricing (three times) on his way in - by several hundred dollars. I found this out being handed the bill on his way out the door - 'I made a mistake'. When taking the tank apart, broke most of the PVC connecting to the septic tank. It was all replaced, so I guess I got some of my money's worth, but they were unable, for some reason, to remove one of the tank cover bolts, so they just spun the cover around on that one bolt. We won't know until warm weather if they were successful in properly sealing everything back down. The entire area around the tank (my utility room) ended up literally soaked in septic tank water. The removed pump was deposited in the middle of the floor. (At one point, they wanted to walk a bucket of vaccumed up septic water through the house to dump it in my upstairs toilet.) There was no care taken to protect carpet in the process of removing any of the old (septic) materials out of the basement. There was no effort made to dry or disinfect the utility room at all. The second reason for the call was a clogged sink drain upstairs. We provided access to the cleanout downstairs. When the pipe was finally snaked, the resulting black clog coming out of the cleanout missed a waiting trashbag, and was deposited on the carpet, splattered in a living area. There was no protection used on the floor at all. The tech said, 'I sprayed cleaner on it, it will dry with no stain'. It took me personally two hours plus of cleanup work to remove the mess they left. I also spent another hour or so disinfecting the utility room. With their own photographs for evidence, I still had to make a number of calls to get the attention of their office manager, who finally agreed to a small refund to cover my time. This ended up as a bill of around $2000. Although the work was 'performed', apparently the concept of customer service has been abandoned in our current culture. I couldn't help feeling like they thought I should have had no complaints. I had a bunch, and frankly the $250 compensation off the final bill was still insulting. Overall, a horrific experience - I would not recommend this company to anyone, for anything, thanks. read more

We had an issue with water in the basement. Whenever we showered, water would come out of the base of a toilet in the basement and flood the lowest point in the basement. We initially hired a plumber who overcharged us for snaking the sewage line but was unable to diagnose the issue. Eddie from All Drain Services was absolutely terrific. He was knowledgeable and had the necessary equipment to correctly diagnose the issue. The audio he provided clearly explained the issue. We called the town and they were able to reconnect our sewage line, which resolved the issue. I called to get an estimate and was told it would cost $100 to have someone take a look. No credit toward the job, just "pay us to have a look". They missed the first appointment. No call, they just didn't show. They missed the second appointment. When they did show up, the guy said it would be $120. It took a while and a few phone calls to get the estimate. When I finally got it, the description of work was wrong. I'm not sure it was even for my job. I'm pretty sure this was a scam. Take the quick money, ignore the customer. It cost me $120 to find out this is not a company I want to do business with. I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

Had clogged kitchen sink drain. My plumber recommend All Drain in Chelmsford, MA ; as they specialize in clogged drains. Had there Technician Eddy, he was very knowledgeable. He said he would snake from the kitchen sink drain, as that would be the quickest and if that solved the problem the best cost option. Unfortunately the clog was beyond his 50' snake and he had to cut into the drain pipe, further down the line, which fortunately was exposed in the garage below the house. All in all the problem was solved (build up of grease in the drain pipe) and he gave me tips to eliminate further grease build-up. They also have a 30 day grantee if the drain clogs up within this period. read more

Had an issue with kitchen drain and disposal not working in an apartment I rent out. Called All Drain and they came out and installed new disposal and cleared drain. Apartment was empty and no used the disposal for a year and as soon as new tenants move in, they report drain and disposal not working again. Call up All Drain and they tell me their work is only warranted 30 days and I'd have to take up disposal not working with the manufacturer. Look elsewhere. These people aren't even plumbers. We couldn't be happier with All Drain Services. After 20 plus years, our kitchen sink wouldn't drain AT ALL. We tried Drano, baking soda & vinegar... but nothing worked. The clog was not under the sink, but back farther in the pipe. We looked on google and yelp and decided to call based on good reviews and their office location being close. Even though it was the Friday before a holiday weekend, they were able to send Brandon out in less than 4 hours. He was knowledgeable, and before jumping in...he made sure it wasn't a bigger problem by going into the basement and making sure all the other household drains were working properly. He explained everything, worked quickly and cleaned up after himself thoroughly. If you mention you found them on Yelp they'll give you $20 off too. We are very happy with our experience. If I could give this company 6 stars out of 5... I would!! Amazing service! I recently had knee replacement surgery and the night before my two week visit with my doctor, my wife after using the toilet decided to take a bath. To her shock the toilet had flushed into the tub through the tub's drain. This never happened before. It was 7:30 pm and I called my regular plumber and was told he was swamped and couldn't get out for a couple of days, but gave me All Drain Service's phone number. I immediately called and after a short conversation decided to have it taken care of in the morning. I was told some one would call me around 7 am and sure enough at 7:05 am I received a call. I was asked if I still need service..YES.. and was told their technician would be at my home at 7:50 am. At 7:45 am their technician, Fabian, arrived and because of coronavirus was protected head to toe. He came in and asked for a description of the problem and then went to his van to obtain the necessary tools. He was very polite, explaining what he intended to do and about what it would cost. In little over a hour he reported that he was finished. He had pulled the toilet and fished down the sewer line about 30 feet dislodged the blockage and the went another 80 feet to make sure it was clear. Then ran plenty of water through the system. Before he left, I inspected the bathroom. He had cleaned and disinfected the tub and toilet and had wiped down the floor. He left the room immaculate. My kitchen drain (with disposal) was clogged. Was referred to All Drain. Jessica answered the phone and she was extremely nice. They came within two hours of my call. The tech, Peter Moya, was fantastic. Respectful, professional, informative, and with a sense of humor. He went above and beyond to clear the drain, snaking thru the main drain and seeing that there was an old drain adjacent, he used that to check drainage since my disposal was removed for service and he couldn't run water in sink. He informed me about the fact that eggshells are not your disposals friend (but they are good for your plants), and that drano isn't good for your drains but if you use salt, baking soda, and vinegar (he said there was another ingredient he couldn't recall) each month in your drains, it will keep them running. The work cannot be guaranteed because of the disposal, but it was only $200 and frankly, I expected to be gouged, so this was a relief! I am so impressed with this company. I am now going to call them and tell them how pleased I am. read more

These folks are amazing. Our shower drain suddenly clogged and after a few attempts to fix the clog ourselves, some gross dust came out. We called a bunch of after hours plumbers that couldn't come out or who needed more information about the plumbing that we didn't have, as we are renters.
