    Chicken Tikka Masala
    Francisco M.

There's street or paid structural parking to get here. The decor is really fun and it's a casual atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. I got the chicken tikka masala. It was pretty good and flavorful. I also got a couple of naan which was good. In addition with rice it was a good portion. I was left with leftovers. I'd would return to try out more from the menu.

This is my first visit to this beautiful restaurant. You walk in and your hearing music from India and smelling all the spices in the environment. We were greeted by the nicest food server ever. The food was so spicy, but yet delicious but not spicy where it's burning your mouth. The garlic naan was light and soft with delicious flavor. All the food was perfectly seasoned and you can fill it was made with love. I will definitely be coming back for another wonderful meal.

The service and place is soooo nice and color. It's really pretty. I loved the mango lady and the potato sliders. The staff were very nice too. I also order some new item that taste AMAZING BEST GAJAR HALWA with ice cream its was delicious, I can't want to come back to have it again. Carrot pudding 20/10 with ice cream.

August 8, 2025 | Pasadena | I love Indian food! While in the area and craving a bite, the DineLA menu for All India Cafe caught my eye! Colorful decor, tasty bites and a full-on feast was greatly appreciated! The menu offered options galore! Score! Palak Paneer & Nirvana Tofu | Rich in color & tasty! One dish definitely had flavor that stood out over the other, though also good! Plenty of rice arrived with the dishes on a silver round platter! Garlic Naan | Delicious & plentiful! I would easily order again! Chai Tea | I enjoyed each sip! Perfectly hot & delicious! The tea paired perfectly alongside the meal! Samosas | Uniquely shaped & tasty, filled with veggies, alongside both dipping sauces! Gulab Jamun | Dessert | Syrup-y deliciousness, got it to go! Salad | I absolutely love salad, but the salad was not memorable and was a bit warm. Decor | Lively & I nearly sighed once I stepped inside, very pretty! There was so much to see, from the floor to the ceiling! There was an image of the Taj Mahal plastered on the wall, sequin umbrellas hanging from up above, elegant lamps radiating mood lighting, and beautiful flowers on each table, alongside a gold lamp, which made the menu even easier to see! Customer Service | Super friendly from the moment we stepped in, throughout & up until the moment we left! Service was attentive with a smile! Thanks again to our server, Sheila! She was so sweet! Overall: My friend & I enjoyed our meal! There was so much food!! Thanks to DineLA for introducing me to a new Indian restaurant! I'm glad I tried it this place!

I'd previously visited the Glendale location, but checked out the Pasadena one too. * Chutney Sampler - a nice snack until your entree arrives. * Masala Fries - very flavorful sauce and textured fries. * Samosas - flavorful vegetable filling and crunchy wrapping. * Boti (lamb chunk), Chicken & Seekh (ground lamb) kebab - I didn't care for the boti, but the seekh is masks the gaminess of lamb with its spicy flavors. The chicken is good. * Chicken jalfrezi - very flavorful. * Kabuli cholay (Punjabi-style garbanzo beans) - too mild for my liking, but a nice vegan option.

Came here on a Monday for the DineLA dinner special. There was no wait at 6pm so got seated immediately. I'm close by so walked here but you can usually find paid parking structures or street parking. We went with the dinner special which included a choice of appetizer of samosa or aloo tiki so we got one of each. For entree we got the tikka masala and tandoori chicken. For veggie we got the aloo gobi and palak paneer. It comes with naan and rice as well. For dessert we both went with the gulab jamun. The tikka masala was pretty diluted so it wasn't really that great and the tandoori chicken was super dry. Overall the entrees were really mediocre. The only ok things were the naan and gulab jamun which is not worth it enough to make a trip back. Service was also just ok and ambiance was not the best. We were seated right next to a bug zapper so not ideal. Overall wouldn't come back based on that experience and quality of the food was really subpar.

    Garlic naan my beloved
    Kemi A.

Quite possibly the best Indian food I've ever had, and therefore some of the best food I've had in my life period. The garlic naan was perfectly fluffy with incredible crisp edges. The Nirvana curry was gone in 5 minutes after it hit the table. Creamy, filling, a touch of sweetness. I looked up from my bowl with new eyes. I have hope for the world now. The makhni paneer... tangy, rich, the perfect level of spice, the delicate paneer balanced with flavorful tomato and bell pepper. The eggplant salad: soft roasted eggplant layered with spicy tomato sauce and garlic-packed yogurt. I'm actually mildly allergic to eggplant but I ate it anyway. It was phenomenal. So worth it. I didn't try the tandoori chicken as I'm pescatarian but people kept talking about how they were "in love." My mother started singing. I'm not joking. I wish I had more pictures but we were all eating too fast to take any. Quotes from dinner: - "How do they DO this???" - "God is good" - "I'm going to marry that chef" - "I finally know what love is" - *with extreme malice* "I NOTICE YOU DIDN'T SHARE YOUR MANGO LASSI" If give this restaurant all the stars in the sky if I could.

Four of us shared the Fun for 2 "Veggie Lovers" which included a choice of three selections, and includes 2 samosas, rice and order of Nan, and dessert. Our selections were the Aloo Mattar, Navaratan Korma, Shahi Paneer We ordered extra orders of samosas, Garlic Nan and an entree of Bartha (eggplant) and Tofu tiki masala. I had a chai, everything was well prepared and service was attentive. I got the homemade ginger ice cream to go, as it's included in the fun for 2. No one else wanted dessert. The ice cream was so flavorful I'm still thinking about it! If you can avoid the closest parking structures, I'd advise parking further away and walking. The structure getting in and leaving was a nightmare, but not a reflection on the dining experience. I think out the door with tip the bill was under $120, we didn't have any alcohol. So a good value for dining out.

Delicious! Shrimp tikka masala was so yummy! I will definitely get it again. Butter chicken very savory. Garlic naan was great. Samosas decent, nothing special. Overall enjoyed and will be back. Only negative was tha the service was crazy slow, but delicious food made up for it. Cute spot.

Negatives - Did delivery. I didn't realize it was powered through GrubHub - $20 in fees! Strangely the actual item prices were cheaper than on Uber eats. And they sent me a $5.75 Perrier instead of still water. The chicken mango was more like chicken curry with a few bits of mango that didn't look super great. Chicken was white meat but fatty. I wasn't expecting it to be so liquidy. I normally get chicken tikka masala so take my thoughts with a grain of salt. Positives - Delicious samosas! Strange shape but truly lovely. Naan was tasty. They had chai on the menu.

Don't bother dining in this location. I waited 30 mins to receive my check whilst NO ONE ELSE WAS IN THE RESTAURANT. The guys were just on social media on their phones LOUDLY. The Arcadia one is better in terms of service and food.

I am not usually a big fan of Indian food but when we visited All India on the Melting Pot Old Pasadena food walking tour all of the foods we tried were delicious! The garlic naan was yummy, chicken dish and fries were great! We met the owner/manager of this location and he was was so nice and suggested coming back for their ice cream which is house made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is cute there is seating both inside and outside.

I had always walked past this place a few times, and glad I finally gave it a chance! The food there is actually good! I was most amazed by their pani puri shots and saag paneer. Pani puri shots were flavorful yet refreshing. Another one that I liked was their mango lassi. It was not too sweet for me unlike other places. I also tried a few of their dishes such as Butter Chicken and Coco de Pasta which I thought were not bad. Also, shoutout to their service! Everyone was very nice and kind! The atmosphere of the place is a bit dark, but it gives off intimate vibes for those who enjoy such vibes! The one thing I did not quite like was their samosas. The outside was too thick and it was more of hard than crispy. Another thing is the parking. Since it is located in Old Town Pasadena, parking can be quite a hassle.

I'm a second-generation Irish-American from New York, and St. Patrick's Day has always meant something in my family. Growing up it was about heritage, family, and a little joy. Now that I have two daughters of my own -- very Irish-looking girls who are proud of their roots -- I wanted them to experience some of that same Irish pub spirit. So on St. Patrick's Day 2025, I took them to Griffin's of Kinsale in South Pasadena. They were so excited to be there -- the decorations, the music, the feeling of a real Irish pub. For a moment I thought, this is going to be a great memory for them. We came early because it was a school night. The restaurant was busy -- which is understandable on St. Patrick's Day. I ordered three salmon dinners for my daughters and myself. The bill came to about $150. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Over an hour and a half. During that entire time: * No one warned us the kitchen was backed up when we ordered. * No one checked on our table. * No updates. * No communication at all. Had someone simply said "Just so you know, food may take an hour or more tonight," I could have made a different decision -- especially with two kids who had school the next morning. Instead we sat downstairs watching the clock while the evening disappeared. By the end of the night my daughters -- who had been so excited walking in -- were tired, hungry, and miserable. When I asked to speak with a manager, no one came. No explanation. No apology. Restaurants get slammed on holidays. Kitchens fall behind. That happens. But ignoring a table for 90 minutes -- especially a family with children -- isn't a busy night. It's bad management. What should have been a fun St. Patrick's Day memory for my daughters turned into a long, uncomfortable evening where we felt completely invisible. For a place that trades so heavily on Irish identity and hospitality, this was about as far from hospitality as you can get. Save your $150 and celebrate St. Patrick's Day somewhere that actually wants you there. And if management would like to explain how a family ends up waiting 90 minutes with no communication, I'd genuinely be interested to hear it.

We were looking forward to a fun evening and decided to participate in the trivia game being hosted that night. After receiving an answer sheet from the host, Matt, my wife and I began playing. The trivia topic was based on an older television show that we were unfamiliar with, and we initially used our phones to look up answers. A male individual approached us and informed us that using our phones was considered cheating. We accepted that explanation, stopped using our phones, and continued playing. Later in the evening, I observed bartender Justin speaking with the same individual and appearing to provide him with answers. When I questioned how that was different from what we had been told not to do, Justin stated that it was not cheating because they were part of a group. I responded that it was only a game and not a serious issue, especially considering my wife and I had only accumulated a few points. At that point, the interaction became uncomfortable. Justin informed the host that my wife and I should be disqualified for cheating, despite the fact that we had stopped using our phones when instructed. The employee who had originally confronted us also became increasingly confrontational, which my wife and I found intimidating. I later asked another bartender, Zach, what the concern was, and he explained that the winning prize was $50. While I understand the importance of maintaining fair rules, the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily hostile and embarrassing. What made the experience even more disappointing was that we appeared to be the only minority guests present at the time, and we observed other patrons using their phones without being confronted. This left us feeling singled out and unwelcome. My wife attempted to discuss how the situation made us feel with a female bartender who had blue hair. Unfortunately, her reaction appeared dismissive, and our concerns did not seem to be taken seriously. As we prepared to leave, the employee who had initially confronted us remained nearby staring in our direction, which further contributed to our discomfort. For reference, we were seated at the right corner of the bar if you were facing the bar from the front. I am not seeking compensation. Rather, I hope management will review the events of that evening, including any available security footage and discussions with staff members present. No guest should leave feeling targeted, embarrassed, or unwelcome while simply trying to enjoy a night out celebrating a special occasion.

Had a dinner reservation with some girlfriends celebrating two of their birthdays. The restaurant itself isn't too big but it does a pack a nice punch. Cute patio out front that takes some of the sidewalks and streets. Plenty of heat lamps which helped with the chilly nights. We got seated at one of the tables on the patios which was nice. Didn't really utilize inside area except for the restroom which it's quite cute in there. The rooms were pretty well decorated and executed. Nice bar area too. Like mentioned, we got seated on the patio and the heat lamps were great. Down to the menus, it's quite limited on dishes. Seemed like there were more shared plates versus the entrees. Drinks, it was fairly decent with their cocktails and wine. Service at the beginning was great. The staff were amazing and very friendly. We didn't order right away as we were still waiting for the last one to show. But did start off with some drinks. It didn't take that long for the first round which was nice. Food wise, the shared plate was a mixture of everything. Some of the olives, which is exactly what it is. The Belgian fries, nice thick cut fries with shredded pecorino cheese and a nice aioli sauce. We ended up getting a second order of it. The albacore tuna crudo was a hit which was really tasty. Chili ginger relish, mint and shallot, can't go wrong with that. Lastly the meatballs, tasty and very great for sharing. Entrees, the pan seared sea bass which I loved. Portion is pretty tiny which also seemed like they were a shared plate. Almost tapas styled. Nice chimichurri sauce and a side salad. The chicken Milanese also with a side salad of arugula. Simple dish but quite tasty. One of the salads that was somewhat hyped up by the waitress but it was just a salad. Decent but nothing major to rave about...lol... also the confit oyster mushrooms was major hit. Something that simple but quite tasty. And lastly the pan con tomate, rustic sourdough with tomatoes and burrata. Tasty as well. Overall the meal was good. From there, the second round of drinks did take a long time to arrive and with then plates that we shared, trying to get someone to clear the plates was another thing. Took a long for someone to clear the table before more items came. Even when the entrees came, all the empty starter plates were still there. And if someone did clear the plates, some was still left on the table. Finishing off the night, we did have the dessert which we tried all three. As it was two of our girlfriends birthday, they brought out a little bubbly for us to celebrate with the dessert. That was quite sweet and nice. Honestly opinion with the dessert, they were just ok. Nothing major to rave about. We tried all three on the menu and they were just ok. Overall, the food was great. Service was nice and the staffs were all very friendly. It did take a while for plates to get cleared from the table and second round did take a while, but it was manageable. It was a sweet gesture with the bubbly with the dessert which was greatly appreciated. The place is nice and great for catching up. Menu is limited and portions are quite small. You would have to get a good amount for sharing. Entrees, depending on what you order is small as well. But we enjoyed ourself.

Would it kill them to add a veggie burger? Service is consistently awful. I've been here half a dozen times and I've never had good service. Drinks and water are never refilled unless I ask. It takes forever to get our order and once we do our server disappears. Seriously so bad. But I keep coming back for their good food.

Because this is a hotel bar since it's situated in The Langham 5-star luxury hotel, the drinks are expensive like $25 starting. One of my friends got a lemon-based mocktail (pretty good) and I got Cosmopolitan-type cocktail with Prosecco (pretty solid and not overly sweet, just not one of the best cocktails I tried). Another friend ordered Negroni, which is a potent cocktail with a bitter sharp, dry aftertaste. I could hardly taste any hint of sweetness in the drink. My friend thought it was too bitter, too. Honestly, for me it tastes just as bitter as a Manhattan, probably because both cocktails incorporate sweet vermouth. 3 stars for the poor customer service and wait time for standing in line to order drinks. There were 2 or 3 bartenders and they were rushing but also seemed like they weren't efficiently helping customers with drinks in a timely manner. The lounge area was meh (super limited seat spots) and the vibes were bland despite coming here on New Year's Eve. Definitely an older demographic that frequents this bar, not that it's a bad thing, just not our vibe since it would've been more fun if there other people closer to our age, so we decided to bar hop elsewhere after.

We sat inside the restaurant but you can also reserve outdoor seating. The staff was very welcoming and too the time to explain the menu to us. Their dishes are shareable and I suggest about 4-5 dishes for a party of three. Off their menu we ordered the fried calamari, the buttermilk biscuits, yellow fin tuna tartare, the fideos clams and the barbecue chicken. Everything was delicious but our favorite was the buttermilk biscuits! Please keep in mind that the biscuits take about 20 minutes to make so please order in advance. Overall the food and ambiance were delightful and I can't wait to go back! For parking, there is street parking around the area but may be difficult since there are quite a few restaurants around sharing rhe space. There is a public parking structure down Meridian street, near heirloom bakery. We went on the weekend and the parking structure was free to park.

The way we were greeted and shown to our seats, you would have thought we were VIPs. Everyone was so friendly to us, and made us feel extremely welcomed. I truly think that every staff member we walked by from the door to our bar seats said hello and welcomed us to the restaurant. I don't know how to describe the level of service other than it was Masterclass. Special thank you to Wolf, our bartender/server a the upstairs bar. Yes his name is Wolf, and he's just as awesome as his name. So friendly and attentive. As for food, Wolf recommended we try the biscuits and I'm so glad he did because it was not something that I would have ordered had it not been for him. Literally the best biscuits I've ever had in my entire life. There is no other biscuit that comes close. It's exactly as it is described on the menu... flaky and buttery. It's an experience, truly. Even if biscuits were not what you thought you were going to order, just get them anyways. You have to try them. Just do it. GET THE BISCUITS! Other than the biscuits, we got the following: Calamari - some of the best I've had in awhile. Crunchy and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Cooked perfectly. Hanger Steak - I didn't specify the doneness but it came rare which was perfect for me. The steak was great, I enjoyed every bite, but the mashed potatoes were EPIC lol. Burger & Fries - The fries in particular were amazing. HUGE portion, very crispy, and well seasoned. As for the burger, I liked the simplicity of it. However, I think it was way over cooked. I personally like my burgers to be a bit more juicy and medium doneness. The Bill - beware of the 4% surcharge. I don't really understand these things. Just price the food how you want to price it rather than adding a 4% surcharge to the final bill. Also, their suggested tip is calculated using the Total including tax rather than the subtotal. So basically you're tipping the tax lol. So aside from the bill and a little underwhelming burger everything else was absolutely incredible.
