At home, putting all the bags in one place, I estimated all our bags would likely not fit and I would have to order a separate Uber to our hotel in South Lake Union. Got on our flight and as soon as we landed at 7:30pm on a 5/25/24 (Memorial Weekend), I took phone off airplane mode and immediately got a text from our driver, Francisco. I told him he was very early because we had just landed. He reassured me, it was no problem and that he would be at our baggage claim carousel. We arrived and he stood out as he was very well dressed. I approached him and told him we have a lot of bags and I may need a separate ride. We then gathered all the bags and he asked, "Is this all of it?", then, "This is no problem?" And help us roll away a few bags and led us to the parking lot. We approached a large Cadillac Escalade. Francisco opened the trunk and methodically took each bag and placed it in the trunk. When I thought he couldn't place anymore, he continued on to put in the rolling carryons. Did some repositioning of bags and closed the trunk. I was amazed everything fit back there! Francisco was very friendly, approachable, and nonchalant. Put me at ease as I am an anxious type. He kept conversation with us the entire trip to the hotel, which took about 20-25 mins. He unloaded all our luggage and graciously offered to help us into the hotel. Although very nice, we had it all handled. It was a very nice gesture. Excellent service and I would definitely book again!

Tara was extremely helpful with booking and kept in touch with me about the ride's progress. Sam, the driver, also kept in excellent contact with me and was extremely understanding when the wait between the ride there and the ride back was much longer than expected. Tara and Sam made it so easy for my office to pay for the ride for our client online. The ride total was less expensive than other local cab companies too. Our office plans to use Everettone Cab from now on. Very grateful for their excellent service!

The driver was nice enough to round up the charge to $75 My mistake was to use them on the ride back ; assuming they would charge the same. I was picked up by a burly Russian guy who spoke very little English. Once we reached my home he shows me a bill of $90 and asks me to sign. When I protested, he went off and said something unintelligible about how he was doing a favor on me and just charging gratuity. It was late and I didnt feel like a wise thing to antagonize him further; so I conceded.

I had grouped them into three different cars for trips from the airport to the hotel. As luck would have it, we had all sorts of flight delays and changes. The dispatchers at Black Diamond saved me stress and time by tracking flights and figuring out new configurations of who could catch a ride at which time and with which companions - and then kept every passenger informed via text or phone call. That is a HUGE task, and I appreciate all they did to make our travels go smoothly. Our CEO commented on how nice it was for each of us to not have to be concerned about how we would get to the hotel in a new city after a long day of travel and delays and changes. Additionally, several people commented on their drivers -- saying how pleasant they were and how they shared anecdotes and history about Seattle during the ride. Way to go Black Diamond!

The Grease Bus will take you to either Steven's Pass or Snoqualmie (depending on their schedule) for only $10. You get that money back though because you get $10 off your lift ticket if you ride the bus. Sweeet! It is easy-peezy to sign up. Just go to the website, sign up for the day and which mountain you want to go to, pay via PayPal and you're good to go! As their website states, the bus will only run if at least 10 people sign up. I met up with the bus at Evo in Fremont at 8am, arrived at Steven's closer to 10:30am. We left Steven's at closing and were back in town by 6pm. Had plenty of time to ride and then some. :) The bus runs on either biodiesel or vegetable oil which is pretty neat and an environmentally friendly way to commute to the slopes. Inside the bus, there is a flat screen TV which plays movies. Also, beverages and Cliff bars are provided for free, thanks to the numerous sponsors. So for $10, you don't have to worry about driving in scary road conditions, do your part in saving the world from global warming, AND get hooked up with free stuff? How AWESOME is that?

Our contact met us at the airport, showed us how to work the vehicle and we were on our way shortly after. Quick and easy, just the way I like it. They were even available to pick up the van at the airport on July 4th. We did have some issues with the van. The van door wheel popped out of it's track. My sister and I turned into Incredible Hulks and eventually fixed it. We decided not to use that side of the door anymore after that fiasco. When we notified our contact about the door problem, she said it was no big deal and they would make sure to take the van into the shop for repairs. Trust me, a door not closing properly, is definitely a big deal. I recommend this company, with reservations, if you are traveling with a person that has special needs. Make sure to check the van doors and all the electrical functions before driving off.
