Be very careful when making reservations. They do NOT offer any sort of reimbursement nor refund. In my case, I had a guest that was arriving at SeaTac at night. His departure flight was delayed multiple times (not his fault) and his arrival at SeaTac was past (less than) 1 hour of the last Shuttle departure. I could NOT let him sleep at the airport for several hours and wait for the next Shuttle in the morning so I had to pick him up. It's very convenient when your schedule falls under theirs but be prepared to be screwed when its not. read more

What a fantastic service! For the past four years, I've been flying into SeaTac with Coupeville on Whidbey Island as my destination, and I don't think this service can be beat. Taking external factors out of the equation--like late airline flights, heavy traffic on the I-5 and 405, or the possibility of only one ferry running between Mukilteo and Clinton--the shuttle has been consistently on time or early almost every trip. The drivers are knowledgeable and friendly, with the exception of one who suggested I sit in the back because I was traveling with a cat. The service is incredibly convenient from both SeaTac and Paine Field. For those flying Alaska Airlines, the walk to the shuttle stop might be a bit longer, but with a little planning, the wait is minimal. I do wish Paine Field was easier to fly into, as it would save time compared to the shuttle ride from SeaTac to Coupeville. For $50 one way (plus an optional tip), the service is worth every penny. The shuttle is always the first vehicle to board the ferry, and the quick 15-minute ferry ride is seamless. The shuttles are comfortable, and I noticed they added a new vehicle during the 2024 holiday season. As long as I continue visiting Coupeville monthly, the Whidbey-SeaTac Shuttle will remain my go-to service. read more

Whidbey-SeaTac Shuttle is an excellent service. Their operators on the phone are very helpful and friendly. The drivers are courteous and professional. The vehicles are always clean and comfortable. I wish they used only their buses, but I understand those buses aren't economical when there are only a few passengers. Overall, I'm very appreciative of the service since I hate Seattle traffic! When I'm in the shuttle I feel confident that I will arrive safely and on time and I'm just riding in comfort. read more

Despite what the website still says, this shuttle doesn't go to Paine Field (PAE) anymore. They drop you off behind the airport at a random shell station and it's over an hour walk to get to the airport entrance, so you have to call an Uber/Lyft/Taxi to get the rest of the way. I used to take this shuttle frequently to get to PAE but will not any longer due to the increased cost and inconvenience. read more

I was trying to make a reservation. There was a box that said 'tip'. I entered $5. On the return trip I entered $5 again. On the check out the total was $230 - $220+ a $10 tip. Before I could checkout the tip box was arbitrarily changed to $235. Who the hell did that? Is that the way you do business - Lying and cheating?? read more

This is the best thing to happen to the island. It's SO convenient when you don't have anyone to take you to the airport. Reservations are so easy to make, customer service is so friendly and helpful. All the drivers that I've had using this shuttle service have been incredibly friendly. Whidbey-Seatac shuttle service has provided safe, reliable and affordable transportation, every time I have travelled with them. I appreciate courteous drivers, a clean and comfortable vehicle, and friendly, efficient office staff. I have needed to modify my reservations several times and never encountered any issues; their policies are posted online and are clear and reasonable, and I have found them to be WAY more flexible (and pleasant) than any other transportation agency. I see negative reviews here that relate to customers making last-minute changes and perhaps not paying attention to company policies; that is unfortunate. This is a five-star company for service and customer satisfaction. My only wish would be to have a slightly more affordable option for the Paine Field trip, to incentivize local transport. read more

BEWARE -- Whidbey Shuttle has a well hidden charge of $10 if you need to change or cancel a reservation. Don't be misled by its statement that reservations may be canceled within 24 hours!! Buried in fine print, in Terms and Conditions, they slyly disclose there is a $10 fee per reservation to change or cancel. Lesson learned---don't book with them ahead of time if anything at all might change. Rude customer service people, too. A long ride, but a very reliable way to get to SEATAC. Forget asking your friends to spend 3-4hrs driving and just spend the $34 (one-way). Times are reasonable and run nearly 18hrs of the day, 7 days a week. If you're military, they can take you directly on base for a drop off at McCormick Lodge (Gateway Inn). The drivers might be able to drop by the barracks too - they tend to be flexible. Online reservations are easy. However, you have to do it 24hrs in advance otherwise you'll be asked to call the office directly. And even that's not an issue - there's walk-on's all of the time. Last OBTW. If you're headed to/from the airport on a Sunday, this is your only real option. Taxi? Ridiculous. Bus? Doesn't run on Sunday on Whidbey. Unless you happen to have a random friend in Seattle that's headed back to the island does it work for you. Otherwise, this shuttle is it. read more

I have been using the shuttle for two years now to get back and forth from Oak Harbor and SeaTac. It's super easy to make a reservation online and if you have any questions, call the number and they are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have almost missed the shuttle twice now due to airline lateness but both times the dispatcher has been in contact with the driver and held the shuttle for 5 extra minutes. I had a great experience, our driver was hilarious and kept the ride enjoyable. The shuttle arrived on time, it was clean, and we got to the airport quickly. I made my reservation the night before online. It was quick and easy. It did say that we needed to print the receipt, but I ended up not needing it since he already had my name when I arrived. I didn't have any cash to tip him, and I felt really bad. So, I figured spreading the word may help more than what my spare change could. Other people tipped him as they got their luggage. unfortunately I let the clerk scheduled me for a 1030 leaving I asked her why because my plane arrived at 7 AM oh you'll be able to get on the 830 shuttle well ran out to the area there was no shuttle they had left early because there was no passengers so I have a 3 1/2 last hour layover because of the shuttle service I'm gonna be looking for another shuttle. It's really unfortunate that this company acts more like a large corporation who's last thought is your needs as a customer. - I booked a reservation for my brother thinking it would be an easier to book a shuttle from SeaTac to the island. - My brother cancelled and so I cancelled the reservation with this shuttle. They explained there would be a $10 cancellation and the remainder could be used as a credit for the next 6 months. -However the credit was only good used by my brother since it was in his name. -They could transfer the credit to me (the person who paid) but would deduct another $10 for doing so. **This island is home to so many small businesses. I explained to the person it's as if your operating like a big corporation instead of a small company who cares..She said, "well sir we are"...... So that sums up my one star.... I'd give you zero stars if I could. -BTW. The company policy of not allowing cell phone use is ridiculous. The driver instructed me to stop my call after 15 minutes. This was a quiet business conversation. Apparently you can talk to other passengers the entire ride, as long as it not on a cell phone. read more

I love this shuttle!! I took it from Oak Harbor 7-11 to SeaTac and got there 5 min early, the driver was so friendly, awesome driving, made sure the climate in the shuttle was suitable for everyone's comfort and even offered us magazines! I took the same shuttle back to Oak Harbor on my return trip and that trip was just as wonderful. He even offered us off the shuttle on the Mukilteo side to go to Ivars if we were hungry because we had about 15 min which most of us were. So friendly and kind even at 10pm. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. So much better than paying for gas, the ferry, parking plus your time or someone else! Then no stress. Love the shuttle and I will take it again. I travel frequently for work and always take the shuttle. They have called me when they were running a few minutes behind as well as when I am running late. Most of the bad reviews are about cancellation/change policy. This is posted all over their website, reminds you while booking online or with them over the phone and it's in the email confirmation. I have lost my full ticket cost and have paid the $10 change fee a few times, I still think they are great! Also, I've had to book a later shuttle due to arrival flight time being too close to shuttle departure. I've ran to shuttle and just barely made the earlier shuttle multiple times and they've always had a spare seat for me. One time I left my tablet on the shuttle and they were quick to notify me and were ready when I came to pick it up at almost midnight. If you want to utilize their parking options, don't expect them to have spots if you're booking close to your departure date. They fill up fast! Overall I think they are awesome and I appreciate all the rides to and from the airport! read more

If you have any other way of getting to the airport you might want to try that option instead. The shuttle seats somehow manage to be more cramped than airline coach seats, and that's...an achievement if you like numb legs. The Whidbey Seatac Shuttle has always provided reliable transportation to SeaTac and Whidbey Island. We have used them several times over the last five years or so when traveling to visit my father and his wife. They have always been prompt, the drivers are courteous and the vans are always clean. Letting them do the driving through the nightmare traffic in and around Seattle is well worth the price of the fare. This last visit Wayne went above and beyond to accommodate our special request pick up in Oak Harbor. We were helping my father and his wife move nearer to us in New Mexico and would be without transportation on the travel date. Their willingness to help with an already stressful time, made the process much easier, there was one less thing to worry about. We will use the Whidbey Seatac Shuttle anytime we are visiting the area. Highly recommend this company. read more

Just recently my wife was taken to ICU for a servere asthma attack. She was on a life support ventilator. I called Whidbey-Seatac Shuttle to cancel our reservation which were 6 to 14 days away. I called their customer sevice to see about getting a refund. After receiving no help, I demanded to talk with the manager. After a short time, the manager came to the phone. I explained our circumstances, the manager said they would refund the money, but change a $10 cancellation fee. This is not acceptable as even the airline, fully refunded our money. Previously, I have had good experiences with the shuttle service, but this negates all of that. Shame on you Whidbey Seatac Shuttle....so much for compassion and help. read more

So 2 nights ago my flight from Seattle to Bellingham was cancelled leaving me no choice but to use the Whidbey SeaTac shuttle again. This I did not want to do because of my previous experience. Don was the driver this time and he was Great. He assisted with my luggage as they all do and when we got in the shuttle he greeted himself and informed us of the times we'd be arriving to our final destination. He went a bit further to let us know he had cold bottled water in case we were thirsty and advised us to let him know if we were hot because of the heat being on. All in all he was great and should I ever have to ride the shuttle again, j sure hope he is the driver and I'll be sure to provide a tip. read more

If you research the business and the location before planning your trips, it's a breeze! I actually rode the shuttle with a complaining person who didn't bother to realize the distance from Whidbey Island to SeaTac Airport. I couldn't believe the ridiculous of some people! Especially since the lady decided to complain to the driver as if he could shorten the distance. But I digress. I called up the business and read over their terms and conditions. There are change date fees and cancellation fees, however, if you plan your flights right it's a lot cheaper than shelling out $100 just to get from SeaTac Airport to the opposite end of Mukilteo ferry. Not to mention it's pretty nice not to have to fight for a taxi and to be able to sit back and relax. Of course there's restrictions since it is a small company so they do not do door-to-door service and they must keep to a schedule. Again that makes sense considering there is a FERRY involved. I was more than happen to pay less than $45 just to go from Oak Harbor to Seattle. A round trip is a little cheaper and that is MUCH MUCH cheaper than some Taxi services. I once had to go from Freeland to Oak Harbor. I was charged nearly $90 just for that! So definitely, I say it's worth looking into. It's cheaper than other options and if you plan right it's a great asset to travel with. Drivers are amazing! I especially loved the ones named Donald (or is it Don?) who are chatty and pleasant. The drivers are typically such characters that it's hard to sit on the shuttle and be awkward. There is one that tells some corny jokes, but in a good way. After traveling all day with demanding airplane passengers, pushy stewards and what not, it's nice to get a little humor. This is not a big "ME ME" company as I say. Cause yes, they are rather small once you realize this but they provide a needed service to the best of their abilities that even make bigger companies look equal. For that I say "GOOD JOB!" That being said, if you plan to travel and want everything to revolve around your schedule, charter a vehicle with them. Pay the higher price and leave the rest of us passengers that know how to read and be on time to use this cheaper and much needed service. read more

The Whidbey SeaTac Shuttle is the best and only way to get to and from the airport from Whidbey Island! The $72 RT fare is unbeatable and includes ferry fare. Making a reservation is simple and the dispatchers are very helpful. The drivers are always courteous, professional and generally very nice people. I was on a flight that arrived late, giving me less than 10 minutes to run for the last shuttle of the night. I called Whidbey Shuttle as the plane landed and the dispatcher let the driver know the plane had just come in and that I would be at the van as soon as I could get off the aircraft. My drivers name was Don, he was awesome! He was extremely informative and kind and the drive was excellent (even though I slept through half of it). The bus was new and very clean and the trip was $40 to my hotel! The cabs I called wanted at least $240 for the same exact thing. "No shuttle arrived for the first ferry at the Clinton terminal as scheduled. I found out that they make the second ferry after asking a few of the ferry employees. This was after I changed plans and flights. I'm disappointed that no warning was given or any instructions emailed since I made the arrangements the day before on the the phone. And no refund or rebate when I called. read more
