After a quick safety briefing we were on our way to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. The ship was equipped with a bunch of beanbags to lounge on and we had plenty of room to relax. As an added bonus we were escorted back to the dock by a small pod of dolphins. An absolutely amazing trip from start to finish! Bring your favorite wine and have a great time like we did.

Captain Bob did an excellent job and the other man on the boat was great about spotting the dolphins giving us some interesting facts and making sure we didn't miss a chance for a sighting. We got to see two different pods including one with a small baby dolphin. The ship was very clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room to move around and they offered drinks on board for cash only. There were also two bathrooms. It was a wonderful experience that I would do again.

Upon closer to the time for our day I had a follow up conversation with Cassie who provided even more information that brought comfort not only to me but my guests as well. They provided a cooler with ice and water as well as numerous floats and shelling bags. The whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. Our captain for the day was Jordan and she was Spectacular with keeping us on time and showing us around. We did a 4 hour boat tour but were able to have time on the slide and visit two islands. Be prepared that there's is a likelihood of getting wet if you are up front and even in some of the seated areas once you get out into the gulf. Bring a towel and don't wear anything your wouldn't want getting wet or that may be see through ;). The music is nice and adds a nice ambience. They serve drinks from tap beer, canned vodka seltzer to wine and sangria. I don't know the prices but it's vacation at Clearwater so.... The captain was cool, the first mate was a solid dude and the bartender is a spunky hottie that the single guys and gals will enjoy. She does a great job at keeping everyone taken care of having a great time. This is a great photo op and is a nice opportunity to chill and take in some of Clearwater's beauty. The boat does have a restroom but is a marine toilet so just prepare yourself, you'll have to go down and back up a latter to use it and for those unfamiliar with sailing it may be a bit daunting and "different". We were looking for a fast boat ride, with not too-crowded boat, and at least one hour boat ride. And this checked all items on the list. They claimed that this is the fastest boat around here, going at 50-60 mph, and the boat was indeed really fast. Everyone on the boat was having so much fun getting a little wet. A bonus is that they let us drive it too! Although it was only for less than a minute, the tour guide also took pictures and video while we were driving. Another boat got together with our boat to create a big wake and the dolphins were playing and jumping out of the water. Even the little baby dolphin. My husband had a blast driving the boat. He took us on a private pontoon ride and pointed out all these crazy expensive houses that belong to famous people. He also played some awesome reggae music that fit the vibe so perfectly. An unexpected highlight was the dolphins. YES, DOLPHINS! Like, right next to the pontoon! There was a playful baby dolphin that kept swimming up next to us and blowing water. It was so cool to see an actual, real-life dolphin so close and in the wild! The tour lets you choose between renting a kayak or a paddle board. You don't have to decide until you get there. I chose paddle boarding, which was much easier than I had anticipated. I steered myself into the trees a few times, but I mostly got the hang of it. (; We paddle boarded to a BEAUTIFUL, remote part of the beach. We were barely south of Caladesi island, where the beach was covered in seashells, and there was no one around. It was picturesque -- white sand, clear blue water, waves. And it was a place that we wouldn't have been to on our own. It was breathtakingly beautiful. To top it off, we didn't have to worry about bringing our phones with us to take pictures since Andrew took pictures for us on his phone and shared them with us through text. It totally added to the tranquility and was an above-and-beyond aspect of the tour. When I come back to Clearwater Beach, I am 100% booking a tour with Paddle Out Adventures again!!
