To preface this review I will admit, the reviews scared me. I almost canceled after getting in over my head reading them and the horror stories. However, I am on a time crunch and start school in less than a few days and had to take the risk because I had a pretty big move and only a short time to do it. With that being said, the process was SEAMLESS. Two men arrived - Hez and Louie- to the house bright and early- professional and prompt. Handled my furniture with grace, wrapped it all up, loaded it up carefully, and made their way over to my new home. There was not a single dent or damage to any of my furniture. Extremely polite and hardworking movers that worked diligently from 7-1:30 pm straight. This move was from Providence to MA and they worked in the rain with being wet, slippery floors and quite a few stairs. Now, the cost quoted to us was exactly the same as charged. I have no idea why others state they were misled by charges, that was certainly not the case for me. I seriously had such low expectations going into this move from the reviews and was blown AWAY by these two movers. Also- all my furniture was thoroughly wrapped in blankets and/or wrap. They undid it all for me once inside the house, put everything together, and put it exactly where I wanted it. They worked on basement, ground level, and upstairs with coverage of two bedrooms, full dining room, living room and basement. So as you can imagine, a lot of furniture had to be moved. Management was not a program whatsoever and actually pleasant to deal with. So hopefully whoever is reading, they did an absolutely flawless job at moving me and I am genuinely happy I hired them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY This was a horrendous experience start to finish and resulted in my very expensive leather furniture set, solid wood bed frame, wood chest of drawers and art being damaged/destroyed. As a first and ONLY time customer this was a careless and poorly managed operation. I was originally booked with another moving company in Boston and called into AMS Moving for an estimate. The representative said this was a "piece of cake move" and could be done in 4 hours MAX at $159/hr. I was stuck babysitting your moving crew until 9:30PM (if I didn't start moving items MYSELF and unboxing/unwrapping I would have been there all night). I have no idea why they would unwrap my couches downstairs and then SLAM them through the doorway tearing every corner. Not to mention the heavy scent of weed that covered ALL of my items. I've been washing clothes, towels and blankets since my move. I'm disgusted with this experience. Attempted to get my $4000+ worth of property paid for (AND paid extra for coverage with AMS) and they are offering not even $400 in total. Save yourself the MONEY and headache. First I was shocked to see I had a fuel charge of $374.75 to move 6 miles!!! That's $62.46 per mile, to me that sounds outrageous to say the least. One of the three guys moving me was either sitting down texting or walking and text the entire time. I overhead the other two guys saying he was "useless" and "he should just stay out of the way". I called the company to voice my concerns and was told by Chris that he would get back to me after investigating my concerns. Booked them less than a week before my move, and chose them because they had better pricing than anybody else; on Thursday before my move, I found out they run a bait-and-switch operation. The price I was told during the original estimate was WRONG, because he (a man named Vincent) told me that one hour drive time was included between my 1st location and my new location. On the call today, they told me that fee is for them to drive to me, and that it would be an additional fee to drive my stuff to the new location. When I questioned this, a man with a ghetto accent yelled at me on the phone before telling me that he's cancelling my move and hanging up on me. This is a TERRIBLE BUSINESS. I'm a single woman with a disabled elderly dependent who now needs to find an alternative moving service in less than three days. There is a special place in hell for people like this, trying to take advantage of someone in a tight spot. They haven't refunded my money yet; I reached out to them via email, because I imagine they'd try and keep that too, despite it being greater than 48 hours before the move. ZERO STARS. This company is so unprofessional, dishonest, and careless. On moving day, the one thing you planned to count on for dependability is suddenly a crap show. The movers came 45 minutes late, and the guys appeared in a rush. Two movers were working fast and hard, but the third one, "dopey" was preoccupied with taking drinks and hanging out in the truck most of the time. Ended up with several chipped or broken items afterward. The company claims their rate is a very transparent $169 an hour but after 3.5 hours total (plus an hr travel), a very quick move, I end up with a $962 bill!! They falsely claimed I asked for items to be packed (costing $100 extra) which is nowhere on the invoice. Not to mention the math doesn't add up AT ALL. Nasty! They also over charged me - anyone doing the math knows $169 x 4.5 is $760.50. Yet these fools charged me $962.75. Absolutely ridiculous. The one mover literally took my card without explaining what was going on, and went into the next room calling in the charges. Only after this process, was I handed the invoice and told the dollar amount. Immediately I was flabbergasted as the dollar amount made no sense at all. When I complained, the mover shrugged and told me to call the office and there's nothing he can do. Calling in, the person couldn't be bothered to help. Had to call twice in the same day to get anywhere. In the end the person on the phone, Mike, told me he would give me a refund of $86. Not the full amount I was looking for but better than nothing. Never got the refund - and this is weeks later. Total nightmare, and nothing more infuriating that unethical billing practices. $200 they essentially stole from me. This is fraud! Wish we read more of the public reviews before going with all my sons for our moving needs and we could've avoided wasting a huge amount of money on our move. We booked 2 hours with 2 movers a truck that had "all the supplies we would need." we had no idea that when they said they provided these supplies this would be at my expense ($150 for cellophane, tape, and mattress protectors, all of which we had and could've just used) we had already done about 80% of our move using a storage pod and only booked this to move a deep freezer that my husband and I thought we couldn't move alone, 2 bedroom sets, and 2 couches. we thought this would be quick and easy for them to do since we disassembled our beds, stripped down the mattresses, emptied the dresser drawers even brought everything we could to the front door. I do want to state, the movers themselves were courteous and handled our items with care. I just believe they are probably told to take a very long time wrapping furniture in order to eat away at the hourly rate. This wrapping- I might add - does virtually nothing. A dresser wrapped in cellophane dents the same as one without. I would've loved the option to save HUNDREDS and say skip that. Also when they say " we allocate an hour for drive time" that means youPAY an hour for drive time for them to get to your house! Not driving from your original location to the next or anything in your favor. It means you're paying for them before they've even got to you! And then of course paying for the drive time between locations. I sure wish my boss paid for my commute to and from work each day as well. Our total which started around $400 for 2 hours, 2 movers, came to a whopping THIRTEEN HUNDRED. $1300+!!!!! If I could give management 0 stars I would. Kathleen who answers the phones will make you feel pressured to book with the team and send you follow ups day after day. Like many others mentioned, I wish I read reviews prior to booking All My Sons. First off, you'll likely be connected with the call center in TX. They know nothing about moving laws/regulations in MA. They quoted me one rate, with a discount and even sent me the estimate to confirm TO WHICH I PUT A DESPOSIT DOWN ON, just to find out days before the move that they could not honor the rate. Not sure how you can change this when everything is already in writing and confirmed? I spoke to at least 5 people from the company to which I got a run-around. Needless to say, the manager offered to refund my deposit and cancel my booking (granted my move was in 2 days) - he seemed pretty understanding of my frustration. After we agreed that he would be my point of contact and available to call the day of the move and so-forth, he refused to return my calls. Now when it comes to the actual move, they send a team of 3 guys. I was quoted a 2 hour move + travel time and 2 movers. You'd think that with an additional set of hands, we'd come close to this time-frame? Nope. It took double the amount of time. There was no hustle in the move and they absolutely milked their time. Their cost of supplies is atrocious. The lead mover said he wouldn't charge me for the 3 paper sheets that he used to wrap my lamp shades. As I'm standing next to him when getting the final cost via the phone, his boss gives him attitude about using a paper pad and not charging me for the entire stack ($120!!!!!!). If you decide to risk using this company, spare yourself the insanely inflated prices and get a roll of saran wrap yourself. One of the movers knocked my box that said glass all over it, didn't even acknowledge it or apologize. Can't wait to see what that damage looks like. My wooden end table was flipped upside down on the concrete. I made sure to label the boxes that were fragile and to not be stacked, I watched them disregard this time and time again. I recently moved a two bedroom apt with a few bags and boxes to a house. I was quoted on the phone $536.00 plus $179 for their supplies if used to secure my furniture. I was told I would get (2) men and a truck and it would take 3-4hrs. Instead they sent 1 healthy young man and another man who was not in shape who could barely move and he was new to their company. They were fully aware and the move was from 8:30am-4:30pm and charged me $1466 for their incompetence and broke off my dresser during the move. I should have read the Yelp reviews before booking with this horrible moving company. The call center on TWO occasions confirmed a move date on July 4th, which makes no sense, and I asked specifically if they'd move on this holiday, which was confirmed twice. They also didn't disclose all the extra charges until after booking and taking a deposit. I was quoted a great price, in writing, via email, that increased the morning of the move when they arrived. I guess I should have cancelled the move right there and left my 82-year old mother sitting in an empty apartment with one bridge chair until I could schedule a new service. The two movers were great, very kind, and only used about 25 minutes of on-the-clock time for their Dunkins stop between pick up and drop off destinations. But they're stuck using antiquated technology to enter timing details and to have the customer sign forms, so uploading and downloading billing information probably added a half hour (about $100), that was part of the move. And they're not allowed to start physically moving any items while we're waiting for the tablet to restart. This is what you get when you try to save a few bucks. Go with a better company. read more

Bad customer service. A woman gave me a quote of $800 to $1000 for a 1 bedroom apartment using 2 men. I called back the next day to double check the price and spoke to a man who confirmed the price and assured me that it would only take 2 men to move my belongings. I got a call 2 days before the move and someone who I hadn't spoke with before told me I needed 3 men and the price was going to be $1500 to $ 2500! I couldn't find anyone else on such short notice so I had to go with them hoping it wouldn't take them long. I packed and labeled everything well with large writing on the the boxes to which room they belonged in, even with color coded stickers. I hoped it would go quick and smoothly by doing so. We'll, two of the guys couldn't speak English! So directing them on where things went was a challenge and took more time! They used a rediculus amount of materials that were outrageously expensive and to top it all off my coffee table has a dent in it and another table is cracked. Honestly not sure why these guys are in business, they spent the first hour having me fill out paperwork, I informed them weeks before how much furniture we had , bunk beds day beds, they arrived with no tools at all. Had to wait for a guy to come take apart furniture he could barely do it and the movers left half of the stuff behind because they could not get it out too heavy lots of reasons they gave, took 11 hours, they charged me for my own moving boxes they used to pad my 5 lb tv which I told them not to take since I can carry that with one hand. THey took over an hour wrapping my 4lb chairs with quilts and using rolls of tape , I told them get the heavy stuff , they grabbed for all the light stuff, I kept telling them heavy stuff, 4 guys came one sat in the truck majority of the day , one it was his first day and the other two were struggling to lift everything my 16 yr old daughter had to help them carry furniture and unwrap furniture , they then took an hour to have lunch that I bought them , I even served them coffee protein bars, gatorade just to keep them moving as slow as turtles. THey took an hour to bill me holding my furniture hostage over $3000, they damaged the floors, the walls, the door jambs, water tank, they left furniture everywhere even upside down, they left the bunk bed stairs in my living room , don't even have all the screws they were able to take in the baggy I had to give him to put them together. I can't even put the furniture back together because they lost the wheels and screws. I can't select my rating because they all seem to be positive. I would go at least a minus five. When I called them, I told them any day would be good. He said I will give you a slow day and a good deal. And they would call me two days before to confirm it. I gave them my deposit. The deal was one forty nine, an hour, one hour minimum, and one hour for travel. I made my plans and set it up. I was moving a wood stove from someone else's house to mine. It was all set and ready to go. When they call back the deal change completely. It was too late for me. It went up to 160 an hour. 1 and 1/2 hour traveling and a 2 hour minimum. All my sons movers were the absolute worst movers I have ever used. They took their time moving they were very careless with my furniture scraping the corners of a few of my tables and mattresses. They couldn't get my couch up a staircase that other tenants used to get their furniture and couch in. The office called and asked where else I would like the couch delivered. Seriously!! They left it on the sidewalk in the yard. The landlord and two other tenants who were older than the three movers got home from work and moved the couch up to my apartment in ten minutes. They also put my dining room table together incorrectly and it had to be taken apart a put back together again. It was an absolutely horrible experience!! The worst moving experience of my life. I wish I had done some research before I hired them. First, this company is very dishonest. They give you one quote over the phone and then overcharged you at the end. The charged me $800 to move only 4 pieces of furniture to a storage unit 0.5 miles away. They said they charge for gas and time and labor. It took them less than 30 mins to move things out of the apartment and drove another 5 mins to a storage unit. Total and utter negligence. We packed our entire home and were just having them move our stuff from point A to point B. It was a slightly unique situation as our new apartment was not yet ready so everything was being moved into the 2 bedrooms of the apartment, but not assembled, so when they were done we could not look at our furniture as we were in a hotel until the rest of the construction was completed on our apartment. My first issue was that an hour before they were done unloading, the "lead guy" approached me to tell me that a tip of $25-$40 per person was "appreciated but not expected". I had planned to tip $25 per person anyway, but I was very much put off by this as now I felt like I had no choice. My fiancé (at work- I took the day off to get moving errands done) told me that I should no longer tip them and explain that I was going to until they made me feel obligated, however, I was stressed out and not in the mood to argue with 3 men who still had my stuff in their possession. I tipped them, they left. I couldn't check anything because everything was crammed into the two bedrooms (couch, love seat, kitchen table, queen bed, bureaus, entertainment center, etc) so we are talking absolutely no room to even go into the rooms, you had to remove the items in order to see the stuff, so it was a waiting game until the rest of our apartment was ready. That evening, we receive a call from our previous landlord. Furious is not a strong enough word to describe her. She was angry about the downstairs door to the house (we lived on 2nd floor apartment so the movers had to go through the downstairs door to get into the hall and then our apartment door). We had been busy and had not yet been back to the "old" apartment. We had planned to go the next day and clean/make sure things were in order. We left our hotel immediately to go to the "old apartment". Holy you know what. The door to the building looked horrendous like it had been keyed, the way a car would be keyed by a vandal. I started panicking because my furniture is what made these marks... so wtf did my furniture look like is what was running through my head.... needless to say, she took the cost of replacing the door out of our deposit... you can see the pictures below... We called All My Sons the next morning to notify them of the issue and tell them that we couldn't view our items for another week or so. They were not empathetic or apologetic, just told us that once we check our furniture, we could make a complaint... I already knew we were in for the long haul... It was another anxious week of wondering what our furniture looked like before we were finally given the go-ahead to unpack. As you can imagine, it did not go well. Our kitchen table, coffee table and entertainment center were all scratched up in several locations, our bedroom bureau had a large chunk taken out of it, our side table was falling apart and pieces to much of our furniture was missing or not all there. 99% of this furniture was purchased brand new, less than one year prior and is still being paid on, so we aren't talking junk and we aren't talking old, beat-up furniture- our kitchen table was less than 6 months old. The company asked for pictures, weight of the items and receipts. I took a ton of pictures, guessed the weight of the items and sent receipts for everything (thank god for technology and Jordan's Furniture being able to pull up their records like it was nothing and for also being gracious enough to send us all the replacement pieces that were missing for free!!). I had to sign the form then have it notarized and then wait. And wait. And wait. After all that, they offered to reimburse us for the door and pay us 60 cents per pound for the furniture, a grand total of $427. No attempt to fix the furniture, no apologies, just a letter citing the law essentially saying, "sorry this happened to you, we don't accept fault but we will pay you the minimum required by law, take it or leave it." If I had known that they pay by weight, I would have been far more realistic... our kitchen table is about 300+ pounds but I put 100 because I didn't know it mattered, but it was too late to argue. Decent experience with All my sons. Our basement was flooded and hence needed to move our belongings to a storage unit. Called on a Sunday and they were able to come the next day itself. They said they'd come between 10 and 11am. Got a call in the morning and they'd mentioned they were on the way. Ended up arriving around 11:15 to 11:30. There were 3 movers and they had a 3 hour minimum. Everybody was super friendly and efficient. Very quick in moving everything. They bought packing materials for glassware and small items but there were no blankets or anything protective for the furniture itself. Bit rough handling. They also took some fragile items without letting us know and came to know only later. Luckily nothing was br Rates were as discussed, there were some other charges as well but didn't care much as insurance was going to cover. Some misrepresenting of quote/cost, drivers went to wrong address, extra 30+ minutes paid for, not exactly hustling for moving from 1 small apartment to another. I used Allied movers previously, in comparison, I see the difference in movers who are getting job done in timely and professional manner. We requested some credit back for the extra 15 minutes charged for time, and then 30 minutes they were lost. As in psychodrama scam level. "Mike" was super nice and friendly when I called for info and pricing on moving a small one bedroom apt about 5 miles. Gave me a complex pricing system that later turned out to have lots of hidden and bs fees. I paid the $100 deposit. Mike told me they couldn't give me a moving time until the day before. I found out later from another moving company that this is bs. Another reviewer said they take last minute jobs and bump you if the $$$ is right. So as moving day approached, I was getting nervous bc the building I was moving to required me to book time at the loading dock. "Mike" assured me he would get us in the building no matter what. He said he'd call them to set things up. He said don't worry, bc he was a 6'3" ex firefighter and he was there to "protect" me and not let the building "push me around" bc I'm a female, and Mike the ex-fire fighter wouldn't stand for that (foreshadowing + irony). Told us the day before that the truck and two guys would arrive "late morning/early afternoon." Me and my friend had everything wrapped and packed carefully. Around 4:00, two guys show up with a huge truck, at least 2x larger than we need. I had carefully described the meager contents of the apt to "Mike." The two guys were very nice, wore masks, but were kinda scrawny and slow. 3 hours later, we head over to the new building. Loading dock no longer available, for the rest of the night, bc it's shared with another business. Movers put me on the phone with a guy named Rick in Texas (the name All My Sons implies, as their website does too, that they're a local multi-generational family business. Nope. ) Rick says they have to "store" my stuff overnight, at a cost of $250-$400. So I say to Rick that "Mike" promised he would get me in the building no matter what. Rick says "who's Mike? Nobody named Mike who works for us." And "I don't know who Mike is, but he can't fix this." I had no stuff in either apartment, old or new one, so I had to pay for a hotel. In the morning the move-in finally happened. They charged me $1300. Plus the $100 deposit. I just wanted my stuff so I had to pay on scene. I called "Mike" and when I finally got hold of him he started out friendly until I asked for a breakdown of the charges. He got testy. He told me it was $100 to wrap mirrors and mattress etc. I said, No everything was wrapped when the guys showed up. Then he tried to charge me for an extra hour by saying the movers showed up an hour earlier than they actually did. I corrected the time. Then he started screaming at me. SCREAMING. And going on about how I was being unreasonable and "what are you trying to do here, I'm trying to help you out" and how I was "mean." Wth. And threatening me, talking about "going to corporate" and "talking with lawyers" which didn't derail me like he thought it would. I stayed in calm-but-firm mode, like when you have to deal with a tantrum-ing toddler, or a 13 year old girl with PMS. At one point he identified himself as (angry) Mark, the "owner," not (friendly) Mike. So he either has multiple personalities, or it's part of the scam. I got a few hundred dollars refunded after I threatened to write (a well earned) bad review and file a complaint with the attorney general, which I still plan to do. Even with the refund, the amount I paid was still way too high, I learned afterward from a lady at another company who kindly answered the questions I should have asked Mike/Mark before booking, but he probably would have lied anyways. The pricing system they use is convoluted, dishonest and full of hidden fees. Even after requesting an itemized bill multiple times, on the phone, by email, and in a text message, I still haven't received one. Oh and "Mike" texted me a few days later to kindly ask me to mention him by name if I were to write a review. Sure thing, "Mike." Here it is: Mike is Mark. Mike is crazy. Mike is dishonest. Avoid Mike. To be fair, the movers didn't lose or damage anything. Even more bizarre than that psychodrama was two days later I turned on the news to see one of their trucks hanging off a nearby highway, and the newscaster is saying that the driver fled the scene and police are still looking for him. Horrible moving company to deal with. good luck if you use them. especially if they break anything or ruin furniture. they will never pay you for the value of what your property is worth or even come close to the value. Fake movers!!!!! Watch out!!!! This company overbooks on purpose and cancels on people who they don't get to. Their operators will tell you they will arrive and then just not show up. I ended up having to do the moving myself. Luckily my friends are reliable - unlike this business. Save yourself the stress and time and go with NES movers instead. That's a real moving company. Didn't actually read all these reviews before hiring them, they just had a better date then the rest of the companies i called and were extremely cheaper. Turns out i MIGHT be lucky. 3 guys showed up bright and early on the scheduled day. Very professional. Moved everything i asked for from my 3 bedroom house. The move in was very smooth as well. All in all, like 3.5/4 hours for the whole thing. Price was a bit more than quoted, but that is just a quote and was still significantly cheaper than other companies. My only problem now is when all was said and done, that evening, we set up the TV and low and behold there is significant damage to the screen. What sucks is that was the only thing i was really worried about moving, and no other furniture or equipment had damage. Just my 6 month old 70" 4k living room TV. Put a huge damper on the night, as all we wanted to do after a day of moving was relax and watch a bit of TV before passing out. Accidents happen though, right? I get it. My only worry now is that the claims doesnt get processed properly. Had to call twice to finally get the claims packet sent to me. After reading reviews here, seems like it might never get paid out or significantly less than what i paid for the TV, not to mention i now need to pay to get rid of it. So fingers crossed my $1100 move, doesnt turn into an $1800 move due to the only issue i came across throughout the whole process. read more

All my sons moving has got to be one of the worst companies imaginable. A total disaster. We had them scheduled weeks in advance for a move on August 29th. We waited hours while they gave us the runaround eventually they never even showed up. They claimed they would come the following morning at 9:00 a.m. The guy Mike who answered the phone lied to my face and said the truck was on the way! An hour later no truck. We had to rent that U-Haul and moved our three bedroom apartment by ourselves. They started avoiding our phone calls and eventually we called them on a friend's phone and they tried to tell us that the guys driving the truck had drove it into a bridge and they weren't going to make it. They were completely flustered and had no idea what to do. I'm a reasonable human being and I understand that sometimes things happen that are beyond our control but if you are running a business and you can't manage to communicate with your clients and tell them what's going on then you're just a bunch of rip-off artists. I'm sure trying to get our deposit back will be a real struggle. I highly recommend to anyone in Rhode Island looking for a mover DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING company. They are the worst. read more

I used All My Sons for a move recently. Here is my main issue: I really needed my move to be in the morning. I told them I needed to be in the morning. They assured me they would be at my apartment between 8 and 9. I would have used another company that could accommodate a morning move had I known they were just telling me that. I'm a single mom of a four-year-old so it's hard to keep him at bay with all our things packed up. They showed up at 12:15. The two movers were okay. One asked me some upfront questions about why I was a single mom and where my son's father was. Once they had everything on the truck they asked me if I would give them each $100 in cash and they would call the office and say they are done with the move at that time (halfway through). That shows what kind of people work here. If they will steal from their employer they'll steal from you. The last thing that was uncomfortable was the two guys started arguing and swearing at each other while they were unloading. They would come in and drop something off and go back to the truck and argue some more. One was reaming out the other for something. I could hear it because I had all the windows open in the my new apartment. That being said, the two guys got it done. They were unprofessional but as a whole, all my stuff is in my house and only one thing was broken. I called and spoke to someone at the office. I let him know that I was unhappy with my experience. He didn't seem to care. I should have looked at reviews before hiring them. 1.5 stars on yelp is exceptionally low. read more

This company is so unprofessional, dishonest, and careless. Showed up high and 3 hours earlier than scheduled. Told me I had to pay for the extra time and would not unload the truck unless I did. Broke the bottom of a king sized bed and damaged many other items. taking them to small claims court read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They lied about what they would do, they did not send enough people, they smashed irreplaceable artwork and punched holes in furniture, they DID NOT FINISH THE JOB (they just left) PLUS they played fast and loose with the estimate and the final bill. They called me a liar!!! when I called to complain, and said I couldn't prove my valuable desk did not already have a hole in it. I hired All My Sons to move my apartment on 4/15. At the start, customer service was great. I was told that an initial estimate was $591 and that based on my description - 3rs floor walk up, five sets of stairs- would take three guys and would wrap up by 12. I was expecting to pay a little more, and had set aside 700 just in case. Day-of, loading on the truck, the guys were pleasant and motivated. We get to my new apartment, and that's when it fell apart. Only two of the three men were bringing my things up the stairs, and when one of the workers indicated that was not normal, I called the office to voice concerns. The supervisor was pretty condescending on his tone of voice when he told me that it was normal to have a spotter type of person managing the others. I told him that was not explained to me when I was first placing my reservation. It seemed like bs that I was paying for three men when only two men were working, but I was ready to let it ride so long as they could still get it done by noon. That wildly did not happen. I realized after they call that really only one mover (A) was bringing things all the way up into my apartment, and the other more active one was taking multiple breaks during the move. My aunt also saw him sitting in his personal car for a stretch. Again, I called the supervisor, to say that I knew that time was getting close, only two guys were working, and one was taking a lot of breaks. There was some back and forth with the motivated mover and the supervisor on the phone. He told me he could only take $50 off my next additional hour, even though the two other movers had done markedly less work than the third, and much of the truck was still waiting to be unloaded. I did not see a lot of care being taken with my stuff. Things clearly marked Fragile were sandwiched in between other boxes, both in the truck and then again during unloading. I found myself having to actually move some of the lighter things myself to speed up the process that I was paying for. I have a bad back and dexterity issues, which is a big part of why I was not able to move my own stuff, even slowly, and why I hired movers in the first place! At one point, one of the men actually sidestepped a box that had tipped over to place a box down, and left the landing with the box just laying partially crushed on the side. Then, the third worker who was taking multiple breaks drove off in the middle of the job. Just left without a word. There's still plenty of things left on my second floor landing- they had placed my stuff with little care, blocking the path for any neighbors who might need to use the door to exit. I called the supervisor again, and the most he said he could do is take another $50 off and not charge me for the rest of the time it took the Motivated Guy and the first worker that wasn't moving from the truck to get the rest of my stuff in. I have a loft bedroom, and the movers didn't plan or stage anything in order to take my bed up, by the time they were "finished," the bed was packed into the apartment, too surrounded with boxes to move. Fortunately, all that was broken in the experience was a picture fame and a handle and lock on my typewriter case, apparently dropped in the process. Both were broken by the movers and not mentioned to me, I had to find them myself after they already left. To pay so much and be left with broken items really burns me up. This was so much more stress than I had planned for. At the end of it all, I paid $873 for an incredibly unprofessional job. This whole experience ruined my goodwill towards this company and until they make this right I will tell everyone I know just how crummy this company is. I could have done better hiring some neighborhood folks to do this move. I thought I was being responsible by hiring pros with insurance but it was quite clear no one (besides the one motivated mover of three) was really concerned about looking out for the customer. read more

On August 2nd I booked a move for August 28th. I paid a deposit and met with Mike their estimator. I have confirmation emails and a charge on my credit card for the deposit. When I called the day before the move to confirm it, I was told by Mike in Operations, that somehow the move wasn't in the system and that "someone on their end dropped the ball". Aside from refunding my deposit, Operations Mike said there was nothing more he could do. He was quite indifferent and clearly didn't care that we were now left stranded without any options. He was unwilling to help me problem solve and, in fact, he hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your moving needs. I do NOT recommend this company! read more

All My Son's movers did not do the job they were hired for - charged me over and above what was quoted - blamed me for them not having the proper staffing to complete the job. Large furniture items were left behind - would not unload the truck of the items they did move without full payment. The manager Mike was very rude !!!!! I had damaged furniture - missing glass inserts to tables - broken dining rm chairs . Had to hire a different mover to get my bedroom - dining rm - living rm delivered - would not have them back after they did a horrible job originally. Definitely would NEVER recommend. Obviously I am not the first person who had this same experience. AWFUL read more

0 rating because I was quoted 516$ & the girl said 1 hour travel & it ended up being 2 hours travel plus they charged more " travel" time to get from old house to new house,they were an hour & 15 minutes late & im missing a tv & by the end they wanted 1071$ for less than 2 hours of actual work but settled it for 944$ & would never ever use them again!!! The 1 star is only because you have to choose at least 1 to post, also charged me for 6 rolls of tape & they used 3 & shrink wrap that was not needed at very high prices read more

Be warned! This company sent two very young, inexperienced kids that were slow, unorganized, and clueless about the moving business! They damaged several of our most valuable pieces of furniture and their claims process is a complete joke! read more
