In a bate and switch, after my bed was moved out, the owner wanted to charge me to move the bed back in for a total of $600 which was ridiculous. McSwains found another company to move the bed back and covered the cost. The one star is for the guys who worked for Elite and were kind and professional but I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Great communication through texting regarding plans and updates on whereabouts, since we're deaf. Mark and Colt showed up with 26 footer and raised my concerns since we don't have that many stuff. We pinpointed on what we wanted moved. And they got to work immediately and was finished in 35 mins with few furnitures and close to 20 boxes. It filled half the truck and no strap or tie down which had me concerned. Upon arriving to storage, it stayed where it was after leaving the apartment from Williamsburg to Eastgate and not tilt over or anything which amazed me. They've immediately started unloading and great teamwork as we've helped with the doors and elevators to make their transition easier. A job well done. I told them the grandfather clock needed to be moved standing up and that it was between 7 and 8 feet. I come out and the clock was lying in the bed! I told them again. It wouldn't work. I called the boss/manger and he didn't seem to care. So I told them to take the stuff out of the truck and hit the road. I also noticed there weren't any blankets or straps in the truck. The dining room chairs would have bounced around in that truck like a pinball. I could go on.

It took them 3 1/2 hours to move all our worldly belongings from a storage unit into our new home, and that includes a half hour drive from one place to the other! For the record, it took our other movers more than 8 hours to move us into that same storage unit. The crew was fun and friendly and no one ever stopped moving. I actually told them to slow down at one point! I stood back and directed and they got everything into its new home. They all came in to thank us when they were done, and offered to move anything that we didn't like its placement. Seriously a good service.
