You charge by the hour so I shouldnt have to pay for second crew or second truck. Your company is a fraud. My job is still incomplete after 5 hours of service. This has been the most frustrating and unprofessional moving experience I've ever had. Our original appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM. We waited until 10:00 AM--no movers showed up and nobody called to update us. When we called the company ourselves, we were suddenly told that our appointment had been moved to the afternoon--with no apology and no prior notice. We were told the crew would arrive around 1:30 PM. Once again, nobody showed up and no one contacted us. By 3:00 PM, we called again. The representative said they would contact the crew and that the movers would arrive within 20 minutes. Another hour passed--still nothing. We kept calling because they never called us back, and every time we called, we were told a different story. One moment the crew was "on the way," the next they "couldn't reach them," then suddenly our schedule had been changed without informing us. It was excuse after excuse. On another call, they said the driver would reach out to us directly. Another hour passed with no call. At 3:47 PM, we were told yet again that we were scheduled for the afternoon--but they never bothered to notify us at any point. We were always the ones chasing them. On our last call, we asked to speak to a manager and even confirmed if a manager was available. They said yes and attempted to transfer us, but instead they left us on hold for 30 minutes, and no one ever came on the line. They wasted our entire day and completely ruined our schedule, especially because we have major renovations starting and needed everything moved before the crew arrived tomorrow. I will never do business with this company again. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and totally disrespectful of people's time. If you come across this company, run as fast as you can. read more

Had 3 nice tvs in the move, now only 1 works...had their insurance coverage, so no problem right? Contacted to file our claim, provided documents requested. Less than 24 hrs and even less communication, without any inspection, they denied our claims... Other minor things broken as well. But nothing else of note like the tv. *Read all emails sent to you very carefully for the breakdown of charges* If they use any packing material, you pay for the entire item no matter how much they use. Example, tape is listed at $5 but you will pay for the entire pack of 6 for $30. Bubble wrap, $50 for the entire roll even if they only use 1/2. "Travel Time" of 1hr is charged for their time to start the job and then to drive back to the lot. That is not for driving between your load/unload locations. Ended up $165 over my estimate ($500) even tho I verbally attempted to confirm as much as I could before. Your final confirmation email will be your best source of information to get a much better estimate than what they give you over the phone. Add it up carefully. read more

I will start with the good: It was reasonably priced and they did not break anything big. Their front office was courteous and professional. The bad: the customer service during the move left a lot to be desired. The lead acted like he was spending too much time on our move and mentioned that the estimator did not accurately scope the work which left him understaffed and rushed. This lead to poor service on the second day, they rushed through and left several closets and both bathrooms unpacked. We had to pack those and move them ourselves. They also left a tremendous amount of packing material trash behind which took us an hour to clean up. When we complained to the front office they were nice but did not follow up on our phone call. They did damage some stuff, but it was relatively normal. The lead told us to file a complaint if we were unhappy. read more

Terrible! I received a quote from all my sons moving for a move from Westerville to New Albany Ohio. The move was scheduled with three or four confirmation emails telephone calls to confirm the day of the move, detailed walk-through on the phone, etc. They canceled day of!! absolutely unbelievable. No apologies. I had to call them. Carter was a disaster. Maybe since my move wasn't $10,000 they figured they could just cancel on me. I called Two Men And A Truck that day and by the grace of God they were able to fit me in and move me the next day, saving my life and my sanity and they did an excellent job. read more

We paid a $100 deposit which it was my understanding would go towards the service. The person who gave us the quote also did NOT include the "supplies" that they require the movers to use. We are positive that half of the "supplies" we were charged for were NOT used. Based on the phone conversation for the quote- it was explained that the $100 "deposit" would go towards the amount that was shown to me at the end of the move - but that was not the case. So we paid over $100 more than we were quoted. When we called to dispute this- the man that answered the phone was extremely rude. It should not cost $600 to move one bed within town and pricing should be straight forward/not surprise add-ons at the last minute. When they called to offer a "resolution", the resolution was to tell us that we misunderstood and they didn't owe us anything. ALSO-- One of the movers (Jamel) solicited himself to move the rest of our things on the side, required us to pay a $150 deposit, and then DID NOT SHOW... Seems like they need to be a little more picky when hiring. I would recommend choosing a different company for your moving needs. read more

This business states they are local. They aren't. They state "this is a non-binding agreement and your actual quote can go down. I'm overestimating". And then they use 10 boxes and charge you $950 for those boxes. They use "dish boxes" when they really don't, only so they can jack up the price. They use wardrobe boxes to pack more stuff in a box so they can jack up the price again. My advice. Either don't use them. Or. Get a binding price. And don't fall for the "we are a local moving company". Further, they broke my stairs, and used a dolly going up and down stairs that were built in the 1890's. When I saw them doing this, I asked them to stop and they did when they thought I was looking. I was also told they would fully pad every single doorway and rails and floors. Even after asking them for these pads, they said they forgot to pack them. Never ever ever again would I use these guys. Run far away and do not hire these guys. I wished I had read all these reviews before hiring. I was in a jam and had to hire last minute. Ugh! $4k for one day of moving. Uneffingbelievable! And then when I got the bill and wanted an explanation, the crew refused to unload the truck until I paid. You're totally screwed at that point so just get a binding price. These guys are a true "bait and switch" operation. read more

When I booked them I told them what I needed moved. It was a lot of heavy stuff. The scheduler recommended 2 men and sent me a quote and I scheduled. I scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Second move of the day. They said they would call again to confirm before the move. They never called. I called them the day before the move to confirm. I talked to Dave. I confirmed with him the list of stuff I needed moved. He said they would need another man, for a 3 man team, for the job. Fine with me. I confirmed that the move was scheduled for Saturday afternoon and that I am not at the house and need one hour's notice before they arrive so I can drive there. He literally asked me "you are scheduled as the second move of the day, is that okay with you?" I said yes and that I needed the afternoon. On Saturday morning at 8:30am it is raining and I call again to confirm they move in the rain. I talked to Austin and he said Dave is out until Monday. Austin says the movers are on their way and should be there soon. I'm like WTF I can't be there "soon" I live an hour away and I have a 2 year old and a 6m old and I need to figure out what to do with them. I had planned for Saturday afternoon. Austin is like "I'm sure Dave confirmed with you that you were first thing in the morning." NO DAVE DID NOT TELL ME WE WERE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. He confirmed with me the day before that we were the 2ND move of the day and that I needed one hour notice. Dave told me I could call between 12 and 1 and get a more updated time. Austin says he knows Dave and Dave wouldn't do that and Dave told must have told me we were scheduled first that day. FUCK YOU AUSTIN I'M NOT A LIER. I hope you and Dave sort your shit. The original scheduler who took down the details of the move probably needs more training too so they can quote the job appropriately. I wonder if the people scheduled before me canceled because of the rain so they just bumped me to first move of the day? I don't know but I can't work without a schedule and also I do not like being accused of lying. Why would I lie. Anyway I canceled and charged back my credit card the deposit. DO NOT USE. what a nightmare. they charge over $300 in hidden fees such as tape? when i had already packed my belongings. they also took their time and i even helped them move some items. it should never take 8 hours to move a two bedroom apartment with three men. when confronted about them lying and overcharging me they then became aggressive and tried to hold my stuff hostage. in an already stressful time i would expect people to have some decency but they certainly do not. how about you guys do the right thing and charge what you quoted? read more

I was quoted $159 per hour plus gas surcharges to move a couch, tv, and tv stand. Ended up paying $516 dollars to move said items. Charged $55 for packing materials, which involved a used moving box and packing tape to secure my tv. I would recommend going to Planes Moving or Krupp Moving or Gr8labor Moving, as all provide cheaper services for the same product. The staff with All My Sons did not care in the slightest in the discrepancy between final bill and the quote provided. read more

While the crew did a great job, the company did not handle a couple issues that came up well and has ghosted us rather than choosing to address them. There was an incident where a dresser slipped on the stairs and crashed into a wall, leaving a hole. At the time, we were told a report was made and it would be handled asap. My husband was told by a manager that they would be sending someone out to fix. This proved to be a lie as they never followed through on their promise and refuse to answer or respond to any phone calls or emails. We had to pay out of pocket to have it fixed so we could sell our house. The other issue we encountered was with the actual cost. It was much higher than quoted due to the moving crew disappearing for two hours. Turns out they had to swap out a crew member, and then they got pulled over by a state trooper on the way to our new house. We were advised by the company that since our contract was "port to port" we were responsible for paying for that time as well. I definitely do not recommend this company and will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well as the Ohio Attorney General. read more

When the three person moving team arrived at my friends apartment, the manager of the group refused to move her piano which was prearranged by having the 3 man crew. The manager had an attitude & had to be corrected by luckily the male friend that was with us. He privateKy advised them about proper behavior with ladies present. When we finally reached the new place, the manager was going to hold her furniture captive on he truck until she paid double the estimated cost. Then when she couldn't afford the tip, the manager went out to the truck & was cleaning it out the moving truck & throwing garbss as he in neighbors cans. He chose to not help the inexperienced crew. He appeared to be milking the clock to add to the bill. Then came in my friends place & chewed out the young guys for not being finished. He became argumentative with my friend & I finally asked him to leave. We had to finish what they hadn't completed & later discovered that 14 screws were missing from a bed frame.
