    I used this company to move me from my condo into a storage unit in July 2025z. I used them again few days ago to move the exact same furniture from storage to a new home. Initially , I was pleased because the employees were hard workers, professional and did not stop in the heat of summer with 3 different floors . Unfortunately, I am extremely upset to find that all of my furniture ( wood pieces ) are damaged . And I am not exaggerating when I say all. Some with significant, deep scratches . These are pieces I've had for many years and were well taken care of . I hope not to have to move again anytime soon, if I do, u won't be using this company.

    It has taken me quite some time to write this review. The short review is DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!! The longer review - right off the bat, they told me they couldn't start my move until lunch time, which I was fine with.... then they called me at 7:30am and said they'd been trying to reach me. They used the wrong number to get in touch with me and they said they were outside . They never gave me a heads up they could come earlier so I was stressed right off the bat. Then, I was greeted rudely by the movers, and they both smelled horribly of weed. They were sluggish the whole move and didn't cover my couch to protect it or anything. They took all day and it shouldn't have taken more than 3-4 hours as I had already moved a bunch of items out already. They drove away and never told me they were leaving so they took all my stuff to my new place without telling me. I had thought they'd stolen my stuff. I called corporate and they were no help. They also forgot to pack a lot of items. They got to my new apartment after me (not sure how if i left 20 min after them) and they refused to unpack anything until i HAND WROTE my credit card information on a slip of paper. They took forever unpacking my items. They lost things, and put my bed and vanity together horribly causing HUGE safety concerns. I moved maybe 30 minutes away and I had damage on every single one of my items. I used another company when I moved across the country and I had NO damage. That just proves the quality of their work. I called corporate to make a formal complaint and the general manager was EXPECTING MY CALL! THATS HOW BAD IT WENT. I did not receive a full refund I requested. They still made me pay for the transportation of my items which is bullshit but whatever. The manager basically said that the person who moved my stuff was on their last chance and he was no longer employed with them. Why did it take my stuff getting destroyed for them to fire him when they knew he was a problem? The higher up manager basically begged me not to write a bad review. Hence why it took me so long to write one, I need people to know to never use them!

    BY FAR THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE!!! The movers were very inexperienced and wasted a lot of time talking on the phone or just standing around just so that I would be charged more. It took them 6 hours to move and 4 of those hours they had only moved the dining room table and clothing. It wasn't until my boyfriend showed up that they really started moving. He had to direct them on how to move and maneuver the furniture and he even helped them move the beds, dressers, sofas, washer, dryer, and etc that should have been moved in the first 4 hours they wasted. They left trash in my driveway that I had to later clean up. They took so long that the manger called and said they ran out of time. So I spent the rest of the night until morning moving my stuff with my own moving truck. To make matters worse I was told they had to keep my items overnight so I had to wait until the next day for my things to be moved. This time they actually sent experienced movers (shout out to Bo, Justin and Q who did an excellent job). To top it off they damaged my home by putting dents in the ceiling and wall. They also scuffed up the walls and floors. I filed a claim and they only offered $275. The damage was beyond that. They did not get a quote from a contractor to justify the reason why they were only offering $275, they just gave me a poor excuse about the legal liability limit. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They pretend to be sympathetic but won't actually take full accountability or financially right their wrongs. As a veteran I am disappointed because Bryce (the manager I spoke to) is a veteran and he kept apologizing but still charged me more than I should have to pay for that nightmare of a move.

    Just don't. Trust me. I was quoted poorly and it took 3 people and 9 hours for a local condo move.

A few of these were after relationship breakups, so he literally helped me move forward in life! My most recent move was from Virginia to Texas in October 2022. Ivan and Anthony coordinated my move-out from house to storage, storage unit to moving truck, and then delivery to new home. During this move, Ivan also transported my car on a flatbed trailer attached to the moving truck. Before providing estimates and scheduling moves, he would request to take a look at the old space and all items to be moved. He was also helpful in suggesting which size unit to rent when I had to put all my furniture in storage. Neither elevators, stairs, traffic nor weather would deter Quick Move. Ivan made sure that everything was transported and delivered with care and intact. Ivan not only handled moves, he had a good eye for furniture placement. When my bedroom set would not fit, he knew which pieces would look beautiful in other areas of my apartment. Before moving/delivery day, I always printed a copy of my home floor plans and designed my furniture layout. Ivan also helped my mom move appliances/furniture to and from her clinic. He even picked up a store order for me instead of my paying for shipping/delivery and figuring out how to carry the heavy purchase upstairs. In past moves, he packed my kitchen and living room into boxes, which I appreciated. Ivan is professional, reliable, trustworthy and communicates well. He identifies ways to save money and resources. He ensures that he has enough help, whom have also been reliable. He uses his time efficiently. He requires a down payment of 50 percent, which I am comfortable paying because I know he will complete the job. I highly recommend Quick Move for all types of moves.

I repeat DO NOT…read more Red flag #1: He is not the one who will move you, he hires another company (or really just a few random guys who smell like cigarettes who are NOT experienced at all). Roger was the one who came to assess my items and provide the quote but he was not who came for the move. First, they show up 1 hour late with no communication. They are NOT efficient at all, my husband helped the entire time because they were so slow. (This doesn't matter in terms of cost bc it is a fixed price but still, it's really annoying to watch when you've moved 5 times in the past 5 years, you get to notice who's good and who's not, and these men were NOT good) So once the loading gets done, the guy tells me that they are all done and that we can take off. So I'm like ok, we take off on our 3 hour drive, which turned into a 4 hour drive due to traffic. Right when I get to our new place, the guy calls me and tells me he left some of my stuff in the elevator of my old apt. That's all he says as if like that's no big deal. Me: so what are you going to do about it? Him: we will bring it to you later. Him: I believe it was the ottoman (of my sofa) and all the sofa cushions and the black table. So I agree, they unload everything and take off with the promise to deliver the rest of the stuff later in the week. I even freaking tipped them $50 as I don't feel right not tipping. (In retrospect, they not only did not deserve the tip, I do not think the $1500 I paid was justified- keep reading) So 3 days go by, the guy returns with my couch cushion, black table, and no ottoman. He doesn't even remember the ottoman, he drops off the couch cushion and black table and happily says: that's all! Me: where's the ottoman? Him: oh yeah I forgot about that. Me: ... He calls the owner (Roger, who by this point in the move has NEVER not even once made the effort to call or communicate with me an apology for all the screw up) and Roger tells him that somebody must have stolen it. Him: he will just send you a new one. Me: ok (really by this point I don't think anything is going to get done right) So now it's about a week later and I haven't heard back from Roger. Multiple calls, emails, ignoring me probably at this point. I am a very patient person, I don't negotiate prices I take the quote that is given, I rarely complain. Honestly even a tiny apology would have gone such a long way but I have not received one throughout this horrible process nor will I be appeased by it now. Rule number one of customer service: apologize for your mistakes or don't hire dumb people to do the work so you don't make mistakes to begin with. I mean, how the heck do you leave stuff in the elevator...I mean that is like the stupidest thing I've heard of. So in conclusion: I HIGHLY recommend you go with another company, even people off Craigslist per hour would do better than these people. If you do not want to lose random items and also wait a week for your sofa, then do not hire "Roger". What a MISERABLE move, like I said, I have moved 5 times in the past 5 years with 5 different moving companies and this company was the worst experience of them all. ****UPDATE: owner "responds" to reviews but does not follow through. Ignores emails and DID NOT ever resolve the problem. So say good bye to some of your furniture if you use his services!! Might take it to small claims, what a fraud.
